Casa da Ribeira (Sesimbra)

We had a fantastic 43-night stay at Casa da Ribeira in Sesimbra and really enjoyed our time there. The house was comfortable, peaceful and a great base for a longer stay. Everything felt well looked after, and it was easy to settle in and feel at home. Sesimbra itself is a beautiful place, and the location made it easy to enjoy both the town and the surrounding area. For such a long stay, comfort and practicality really matter, and Casa da Ribeira worked very well for us throughout. We would happily stay again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sesimbra. 5 stars.... a lovely stay and a great place for both short and longer visits.

Beautiful house with lovely garden, spotlessly clean with everything needed for a great stay. Set in a residential area but within 10 minutes drive of the various beaches in the area. A couple of good local restaurants within a few minutes drive. Hosts were very welcoming, with wine and apero provided on arrival, and lovely croissants given during our stay.

Such a wonderful place to stay! We were made to feel so welcome by Anabela and Manuel! They showed us around the house on our arrival and left some lovely welcome gifts for us. The house was so clean and so well-equipped - absolutely everything had been thought of! Very comfortable bed and lovely linen....we just could not fault this property. A beautiful garden in which to relax....not to mention the fabulous weather! Casa da Ribeira is only a 10 minute drive from central Sesimbra and 15 from the beautiful Lagoa da Albufeira. Excellent Intermarche and Aldi supermarkets within 10 minutes. Having stayed all over Europe in various properties, this one wins hands down. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a home-from-home property whilst staying near Sesimbra. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, Anabela and Manuel!
