The cabin was overall pretty nice. It did have a few minor cosmetic things like rips on the sofa but nothing that would turn me away from booking this. It was secluded enough from the busy strip but close enough to get anywhere in 10-20 minutes. You're in your own little neighborhood of four cabins. They had everything we needed for our little two night stay. Note, the fire pit is communal for all four cabins. Also, if you didn't notice from the pics the master toilet is out in the open in the bedroom/ bathroom but there is a powder room outside the bedroom you can use for more privacy unless you're a person of considerable size. That was a fun little aspect. Would still stay here again, it was cute.
Don't be like us and fail to read the very last line on your instructions email and rely on gps 😶. We ended up past the cabins in single lane bumpy crumbling dirt roads at almost 11pm and it was very difficult and honestly scary to back up and turn around. Once you turn onto the street it's on, its on your right. Don't keep going straight 😂. Like others, we wished there was a motion light that came on when we got there so we could see to get in. It was a little difficult. We didn't use the hot tub. I wished it had railing or a taller paneling to go behind it, as the back of the deck was open to the woods. The hot tub area could use some love and more lighting. I would have been too afraid to use it at night given its placement. It too should have a switch operated flood light or something. From what I could tell you had to go out there and plug in the string lights.
Everything was great with the cabin & location!
not received email with key instructions
We loved the location and the cabin overall. The beds were comfortable and the property was peaceful and beautiful. We actually booked for the Hidden Bear but we were asked if we would want to switch to the Lazy Raccoon instead bc of a Maint prob they were trying to resolve. Regardless they were pretty similar so we had no prob switching. We enjoyed our stay and will plan on returning :)
The only thing we did not like is the smell of the running water. I'm not sure why it smelled the way it did but it wasnt pleasant:(
close to pigeon forge strip, beds very comfy, very quiet
I think the hot water tank needs flushed out…. very strong odor when u turn on hot water
