Reviewed Aug 12, 2026The cottage was cosy and spacious at the same time, clean and with everything necessary for a perfect vacation, including board games and cards (I'd suggest maybe adding some complimentary herbal teas). The area surrounding the cottage is beautiful and peaceful and the chance of canoeing in the lake was wonderful.

Jammer dat gasten zelf moeten schoonmaken. Het huis is daardoor op sommige plekken niet schoon en wat rommelig, vooral de keuken. Ik betaal dan liever wat meer om in een schoon huis te komen.

At flere tidligere gæster ikke havde gjort ret godt rent . Insektet Guldklæg var til tider generende, gog ikke altid !!

Reviewed Jul 2, 2026A really lovely place - off the beaten track (literally) peaceful and beautiful with access to beautiful lakes and boats and canoes. The house we stayed in is cosy and homely and was a wonderful space for nine of us. There is a terrace deck so the sunshine can be enjoyed all day.

Reviewed May 29, 2026+ Annalena war sehr hilfsbereit und sehr gut für Fragen erreichbar + Boot und Kanus waren verfügbar
- bei unserer Ankunft war das Klo leider dreckig. Wir haben es selbst gesäubert. Nachdem wir es Annalena mitgeteilt haben, ist sie vorbei gekommen und hat uns als Entschuldigung eine Weinflasche geschenkt :-)

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026De locatie is echt geweldig!!! We waren er 1 nachtje in de winter. We waren alleen. De andere 2 huizen waren niet verhuurd. We hebben heerlijk boven een vuurtje worsten geroosterd. En smorgens een bos wandeling naarhet meer gemaakt. Je waant je echt even in een andere wereld ❤️

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026The location is incredible, we went with our dogs and they enjoy the beautiful paths, views, peace and quiet place to relax and enjoy the view and the area.
I would advise adding an extra heater to the house in case someone is cold. We went in cold weather and an extra heater would be nice 🙂

Reviewed Aug 14, 2025Cudowny domek w środku lasu. Fantastyczne położenie. Czysto, wygodnie, cicho! W domku jest wszystko czego potrzebujesz. Wszystko sprawne. Łódki , canoe i duży teren do dyspozycji gości! Super mega pozytyw! Chcielibyśmy kiedyś tu wrócić! To był strzał w 10!

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025Die Lage im Wald, weit genug weg um seine Ruhe zu haben, nah genug dran um einkaufen zu gehen. Die Hütte strahlt eine unfassbare Ruhe auf mich aus und ich genieße es jedesmal wieder dort zu sein.
Dass wir wieder abreisen mussten.

The place needs to be cleaned by guests before leaving or there is an extra fee for this. It was totally not a problem for us, but it will be nice to add this info to the description.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2025It was an amazing holiday in the Swedish forest. What can I say about this place... Nature is wonderful, the house is very cozy and comfortable for the company of 9 people and the big dog (4 adults, 5 children and bernese boy). The owners are very kind and hospitable. The house has everything you need and even more. There are a lot of different kinds of tableware for cooking and serving the table, pillows and blankets for cozy and warm. Also there are 2 fireplaces, underfloor heating on the ground floor etc. We are very happy! And we hope to come back soon.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2024It’s Remote and quiet, very nice and relaxing place. But be aware that you can’t get to the cabin in the winter if there is snow without a 4x4 car or snow chains, it’s very easy to get stuck on the road up to the cabin it there is a lot of snow so be prepared 😊

I feared the gravel road going uphill a bit. But I had an excellent driver with me.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2024After two days of absolute peace and quiet in this well equipped little gem of a place, we were sad to leave. The friendly communication beforehand had raised our expectations, but the place still managed to surpass our hopes. Not even the rain could ruin the beautiful setting and the amazing hikes starting just outside the house. And in the house absolutely nothing was missing. It felt more like we were borrowing a house from old friends, than renting a place. We so look forward to coming back another time.
Can't think of anything negative to say about this place, no matter how hard I try..

Had to get out of the car to open the entry barrier to the steep road leading to the cabin and took a fall in the slushy snow. Would have preferred an easier entry.

Reviewed Nov 13, 2022In the middle of nowhere, surrounded by forest and lakes, you will find the most cozy cabin. Very clean, with everything you would need, heated with own bathroom. This cozy cabin stands alone. Fully recommend and hope to come back someday!
