This was by far one of the best stays in the nature we had . The cottage location is close to Ruka ski resort but away in a quiet surrounding near the lake. The cottage was very well kept, clean with all the creature comforts that you might need for even long stays. The kitches was fully equipped, the wifi was speedy, the sleeping arrangements are good, with bunk beds for kids which were quite safe and sturdy. There even was a old timy boombox ith radio and CD player :). The host at the reception was very friendly and helpful . There is an option to clean the cottage yourself and save 60 euro cleaning fee. There are clear instructions for everything , even operating the fireplace. There is porch outside where you can relax with a coffee and book. Bonus points for all the reindeers roaming freely on the property which can pass by your cottage at any time of the day!

Majoitus oli hyvällä ja rauhallisella sijainnilla. Mökki oli todella siis ja hyvin varusteltu.

Mökistä löytyy kaikki tarvittava: oma sauna, takka, keittiö, mukava sohva.. Hyvä sijainti ja helppo saapuminen, kun itselle sopii (avainboksi).

Sänky oli melko kapea ja patja kova omaan makuun.

Päästiin pari tuntia etuajassa mökkiin... Siitä iso plussa. Perus siisti mökki

Patja piti kääntää kun oli painunut kololle.

Sehr schöne Hütte, dicht genug an den Liften wenn man Alpin Ski laufen möchte. Entweder über den zugefrorenen See oder zum Skibus der ca. jede Stunde fährt. Problemloses schnelles Checkin, alles online möglich Schlüssel in einer Keybox so das man auch spät abends anreisen kann. Alles gut und praktisch eingerichtet. Küche,Sauna, Kamin, TV, Wlan alles da, nur Bier muss man selber kaufen ;-) Skiraum und Trockenschrank für die Schuhe sowieso. Parkplatz neben dem Haus. Rundum sehr gemütlich. Wir können es nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder !

Ambiente accogliente, caldo e pulito. Sauna un plus e pronta in poco tempo. Lo staff estremamente cordiale e disponibile, ci ha consigliato anche su tematiche non strettamente inerenti al soggiorno. Posto auto vicino al cottage e possibilità di braciere in comune.

Non presenti carta cucina, condimenti, tisane.

Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta ja erinomainen hinta-laatusuhde majoituksesta. Todella toimiva ja hyvin varusteltu keittiö.

Beautiful log cabin, such a homely cosy place to stay.

The whole cabin is beautiful, comfy beds, lovely lounge area and great kitchen facilities. Would definitely recommend and we’ll return for another stay in the future. The owner even text us to tell is that the Northern lights were out at 21:00 if we would like to go out and see them, we immediately stopped eating our dinner and rushed out to see a beautiful sky. Thank you.

The cottage was so well-equipped and satisfied all of our needs.

The only negative side is that you have to pay extra for cleaning when checking out or you can clean the cottage yourself.

It was amazing, cottage was small, but comfortable and we had everything what we needed. We really enjoyed stay there. It is close to Ruka ski centre and it was just accross the road to go for cross country skis.

Logement bien équipé au calme propre. On nous a même prévenu de la présence des aurores boréales.

Amenities! Sauna, heated closed to warm up boots gloves etc. Heated floor, firewoord and fireplace, dishwasher and more. We stayed with 2 people very comfortably.

Excellent location, about a 15 minute walk to the ski resort, but far enough to have easy access to areas with less light which are ideal to view the aurora borealis. Enjoyed the fireplace and the sauna that came with the cottage as well as some very handy facilities such as a heated closet to dry your wet clothes and a storage place for your skiing equipment. 10/10 recommend this place

La ubicación es genial, la atención del personal muy buena, Marita se tomó el tiempo de explicarnos ubicaciones y cómo llegar al centro. Es un lugar muy tranquilo.

It's super cozy, clean, and has everything you need for a cottage. The fireplace and sauna are a delightful bonus :)

Walking to Ruka village with ski equipment is very strenuous when it’s -25°C and the road is uphill, taking more than 20 mins. Also, the linen and cleaning fees are not included in the price :(

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage! Everything exceeded our expectations — the house was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had all the comforts we could wish for. The atmosfera was peaceful and cozy, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. A special thanks to our host, who was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. You can really tell how much care and love has gone into this place. We would happily come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay!

Todella vaivaton ja miellyttävä vierailu. Mökki oli erittäin siisti, hyväkuntoinen ja avara. Henkilökunta tosi ystävällistä. Oli helppo saapua autolla ja auton sai mökin viereen.

Aivan ihana ja siisti mökki.Ranta vieressä missä oli kiva kuumana päivänä polskahtaa.Rukan kylä lähellä sekä kauppa.

The bedroom downstairs didn’t have blackout curtains.

Perfect cottage with everything we needed. The fireplace and sauna were both incredible, and ski storage was very handy.

Nothing - we loved it all.

The chalet was clean, warm, cosy and well equipped. The owners are really friendly and happy to help and accommodate. It was a 15 minute walk into Ruka centre, there is a supermarket less than ten minute walk. The closest ski lift is less than ten minute walk across the lake.

It would be nice to have a washing machine in the chalet but one was available to use on site free of charge.

A fantastic stay in Lapland We recently returned from a truly memorable vacation in Finland and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Everything about this trip exceeded our expectations and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and fulfilling ski vacation. One of the highlights of our stay was our host of the complex. Marita was incredibly polite, friendly, and always ready to assist with any questions or needs. Her warm attitude and genuine care for her guests made us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. The cottage we stayed in was a true gem. It was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Highlights included a sauna for relaxation, a cozy fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The location of the cottage was perfect for winter sports. It was conveniently close to the ski lifts and slopes, making skiing easily accessible. For cross-country skiing, we were thrilled to discover that we could start right from the cottage, which made exploring the pristine Finnish landscape an absolute joy. This combination of exceptional hospitality, a well-equipped cottage, and a perfect location made our trip seamless and relaxing and look forward to visiting Lapland again in the future.

The cottage was very spacious, enough to accommodate 6 people. The kitchen had all the needed utilities. The fireplace in the living-room is very easy to use and creates an amazing atmosphere. The sauna is also very easy to use. Location is really nice, on the bank of the lake and easily accessible. The village is 10-15' walk away in winter, as you can walk across the frozen lake, and the surroundings are really nice for longer walks. WiFi was working really well, even if there were more than 10 devices permanently connected, and

The property doesn't provide bed linens and towels. You can rent them from the property, or you can bring them from home. When you travel with the entire family, bringing linen and towels is close to impossible.

Everything was great. This place is so complete for a stay in Ruka.

I gave 10 because it wasn't possible to give a higher score. This place is amazing, the chalet was one of cosiest places I've been to. Warm, spotless clean, equipped with any possible kitchen tool. The sauna and the fireplace completed the whole experience. We decided to have dinner at home instead of going out to enjoy the comfort and warmth. We woke up every day surrounded by snow and silence, it was like a fairytale! Position is perfect, very close to Ruka village but away from the bustle, next to a quiet lake (frozen at the moment of my visit) and surrounded by a beautiful landscape. Marita has been quick and efficient in her communication, she explained everything we needed to know when we arrived, and was available at any time. You can tell it's a family owned business! I wish I could stay more!

Cottage was just perfect, it has everything you need for a longer stay. Well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, laundry washer&dryer. Even some reindeer in the yard from time to time. Definitely recommended for all season stays.

Double bed is too narrow for two person. Bunk bed is too short for over 185cm person.
