River Access Cabin w Hot Tub, Deck, Grill, & Wifi

the location was nice but no where near water. the picture of the deck with water was misleading.

the hot tub was unplugged and cold on arrival. had to plug it up then wait for it to get warm. it finally reached temp on the morning we had to leave, 2 days later. I do not like the later check in time of 4 pm nor the check out time of 10:00 am and be threatened by late leave fees because it was 10:10 am so had to rush to be out at 10:00 on the dot. The hot tub was the biggest part of my pick for the house and very disappointing way to spend my birthday with my person who made it great considering the circumstances. Received no discount other than a ‘sorry’ and ‘thanks’ for letting them know about the hot tub.

I loved the location with the exception of not being as close to the river as we thought and the fire pit and hot tub are amazing!

The hot tub was very bad. It was yellow and very dirty and smelled disgusting. I do not advise anyone to try the place, especially if you go for the hot tub It was the worst experience in my life.

The deck is spacious.The couch was comfy, cabin was clean. Neighboorhood is quiet. Available streaming services were a nice touch. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the river kayaking.

It was very hot upon arrival (indoor temp in the 90's), and the tiny window A/C units could not manage to cool down the cabin efficiently. The first night, my friend and I were both sweating a lot despite the A/C running continuously. The cabin is advertised as "river access", with a picture even showing the water and a boat ramp/ dock. That is misleading, because there is no private river access, and one has to walk down a steep hill, and down a road for 10-15 minutes to get to public river access. Despite that, the location was great, especially since Shenandoah River Outfitters was in walking distance.

The location was stunning, very private and peaceful. Good lounge area.

The bathroom was ok and workable but the cupboards were old and smelt of damp. Some areas in need of TLC.

The only thing we liked about the property was the hot tub.

The property did not live up to the description. The deck had multiple places where the wood looked warped and ready to fall through. There were multiple soft spots on the floor in the kitchen/living room area. The WiFi never worked. When we went to go to bed for the evening there was a huge roach crawling on the wall beside the bed. We left in the middle of the night on our first night there and went home. Not worth the money we spent at all and only got $75 back after explaining our experience.

It was very clean. There was no order. Bedding was very clean.

No internet. Hot tub was broken… hard to start and then hard to stop. Microwave’s short cut buttons didn’t work. We had to key in the times. Too many bugs. Drive way was really bad. Finally, the floors were very spongy. I felt like I could fall through the floors.

Problem connecting the TV. Floors are terrible, they sag in many areas. We had originally booked this for 3 days for $755. We had a death in the family and they agreed to allow us to reschedule. We verified the three days where available that chose. When we arrived our check in time was 4PM on Monday. We spent Tuesday touring around. Wednesday we realized our dates somehow got screwed up and we had to checkout by 10 AM. We were late checking out but when I called to find out why they said it was how the rescheduled dates were entered in booking.com. They considered our stay as 3 days/2 nights???? Excuse me....we had one day. To top it off they added $109. to our fee and we ended up paying $864. for basically one lousy day. I wouldn't deal with this place or booking.com EVER AGAIN. Buyer beware!!!

The property was lovely! It was so peaceful, being somewhat secluded, and the patio and hot tub were perfect for relaxing. The proximity to the caverns and Shenandoah National Park made this our perfect vacation spot!

The house was exactly as they said it would be. It was clean, well kept, and no hidden surprises.

Everything was wonderful, we enjoyed the location. Loved the Hot Tub and Fireplace. Our host was on top of everything.

Quiet getaway, was super easy to book and owner was easy to get ahold of.

It was very cold in the house and we couldnt figure out the heat

The house has a cabin feel with the luxury of a hot tub, felt secluded and private but close enough to attractions.

The house was perfect for my husband and I plus our dog it was such a cozy home with all the kitchen necessities the hot tub was clean and was such a delight.

The only issue we had was the prickly bush our dog ran through it he’s fine lol.
