Location was superb, just tucked away not far from the road.
Nothing we didnt like
Everything was clean, neat and well supplied.
The tv didn't work but we didn't mi d that much as we weren't there to watch tv.
Confortable et spacieuse pour une famille. Le forest parc est à proximité.
It was clean, and property was cosy and beautiful. Loved being away from everything but only a short drive from Carrick on Shannon and boyle which had resteraunts and pubs. There's a little country park with lovely walks and cafe 5 mins up the road. We had everything we needed. Owners were quick to respond to enquiries.
Honestly nothing, it was as described. While wifi would be beneficial as there is a smart tv, and satellite tv can be hit and miss, I was able to connect my hotspot to the tv when I fancied watching netflix.
Beautiful cottage in a secluded spot near Ballinafad. Perfect for our needs. Spotlessly clean! All necessary appliances and equipment were there. Beds were comfortable and all bedding was fresh. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. We needed a cot, which was supplied. TV with basic channels. Hostess, Trish, was so lovely when we had a little accident regarding the decor. I would definitely recommended and will book again
It got a bit cold at night but once we realised where the heating switch was, we were warmed up.
Lovely location very friendly host would love to go back again
There was no problem with anything great location great host
Clean, quiet , beautiful
I loved how peaceful and quiet it was.x
No complaints 👌
Home from home, everything there that we needed, peaceful, overall very nice.
Lovely quiet location, very convenient for visiting Lough Key
Lovely place. Near a road, bit surrounded by trees and greens. Loads of birds. Comfy beds and everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom.
The tv sometimes had no signal and internet can be a bit of a problem. The hostess was kind enough to help me out though, when I needed it.
Lovely little cottage, simple and functional inside with everything you need. Lovely wood burner which made it so cosy at night. So much to see and do locally a short drive away. A weekend of rain didn't stop us from having fun. Would definitely come back.
We didn't have the best weather for our weekend and cottage could get a little cold. Owner kindly dropped us extra blanks which was great and helpful. Also could do with enough supplies to light a fire upon arrival as we arrived late but had to drive back into town to get the fire supplies. Apart from that this place was so perfect and comfortable. Booking.com provided the wrong number for the owner which caused some confusion but the correct owner contacted me thankfully before our visit.
The location and style of the building was exactly what we wanted. We were researching my partners family history and it felt like the sort of cottage his family would have lived in (although updated to 21st century living!!). These old houses have a few quirks but it was well equipped and very clean. The host was so helpful and introduced us to neighbours who had family connections with my partner so we were able to fill in more of the puzzle.
The cottage exceeded our expectations.
Remote location very peaceful.
All good
Nice quiet location All we needed
So spacious, cosy and well equipped - this place is a hidden gem and has everything you need. Lovely, responsive host, really can’t fault it!
Everything was perfect!
Good location to visit different counties and Lochs, beautiful scenery everything you need is in the cottage
Beautiful cottage in peaceful location. Comfy main bed. Nice shower. Wonderful base for exploring.
Cute cottage with two bedrooms. Good for families. Lots of space to park your car and for children to run around outside. They had everything you could need in the kitchen, including washing up liquid, salt, oil etc
The main bedroom seemed to be cold compared to the other rooms, but the heating worked well enough.
Nice, quite area. Cozy and comfortable cottage.
Very cosy cottage with a fire stove.
Great central location to lough Key Forest amenities. Cosy cottage with high standard utilities throughout.
It’s location, it was so peaceful 🙂 surrounded by nature, I loved that you could see the original stone walls on the exterior and inside was done to such a high standard.
Loved everything I couldn’t fault it.
The house lovely cosy and clean
Very spacious and comfortable, lots to see and do within an hour of the location.
The nearest shops/bar/restaurants are approximately 10km in Boyle. Mobile reception is very poor and there's no WiFi.
fantastic relaxed but easy to travel from location beautiful spot
The location was beautiful and the cottage was absolutely lovely. Perfect for a family getaway.

Lovely, cosy cottage, perfect for a few days away. Short drive to Lough Key Forest Park & Arigna Mining Experience We would definitely come back!
cosy, clean and a good base for where we wanted to see.
didn’t dislike anything, suggestions would be more pillows, firelighters and a lighter to light the fire (although I’m sure if I’d asked Trish she would have supplied these). with having kids, and the shop being quite far, a welcome pack is always a good idea to save having to venture out again when you’re not sure if there is a shop near.
Fabulous place had everything we needed , peaceful and quiet the two boys loved it and far enough off the road not to be worried if they run out the door. Great base to explore all the local area has to offer.
Clean, spacious, recently renovated cottage. Quiet with large garden. Friendly host.
Poor phone signal. Wider choice of TV channels would be good.
