Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in der ich bisher war. Samantha und ihr Mann Padraig waren mega freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend und wirklich sehr bemüht das man sich bei Ihnen wohlfühlt. Die Ausstattung war überdurchschnittlich. Frische Eier, frisches Soda Brot und selbstgemachte Marmelade standen schon für uns bereit als wir ankamen. Auch gab es einen Kamin der mit getrocknetem Torf geheizt wurde was einen ganz besonderen erstmal befremdlich aber doch guten Geruch im Haus verteilt hat. Auch die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war über WhatsApp unkompliziert, sie waren immer zu erreichen. Jederzeit würde ich Samantha und Padraig wieder besuchen im Old House at Belfield direkt an der Christmas Tree Farm. Einfach ein Traum.

L'accoglienza di Samantha è stata perfetta! Si capisce subito che lei ama farti stare bene e farti davvero sentire a casa. Abbiamo trovato tutto il necessario e anche molto di più. La storia della vecchia casa è affascinante e l'amore che i proprietari provano per essa traspare da tanti dettagli e dalle numerose fotografie e dai documenti disponibili. Nella fattoria di alberi di Natale ci sono anche cinque maialini davvero divertenti!

La miglior struttura dove siamo stati durante il nostro tour dell'Irlanda. Bellissimo e ampio cottage dotato di tutto il necessario e anche di più, non manca nulla. La zona circostante è meravigliosa, è un piacere passeggiare e vedere i fiori, la coltivazione di abeti di Natale, i maialini.. La proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile, si vede che tiene molto a ciò che fa. La mattina della nostra partenza abbiamo dimenticato uno zaino e ci ha subito contattati, sii è anche offerta di venirci incontro per riportarcelo..

The dryer was wonky but fixed promptly and frankly, clothesline was fun to use...a blast from the past. In keeping with the historical farm setting.

Die vielen Extras, Samantha machte Feuer für uns, Marmelade, Brot, Eier, Kekse und hat sich stets um uns gekümmert.

The hospitality was exceptional. The house was very clean and cozy, with a “countryside” vibe. The host was very responsive, kind and thoughtful. She left us a few necessities in the fridge, which we were grateful for, as we arrived late. Our kids enjoyed exploring a small farm and saying hi to the pigs that were super friendly. The location is close to Dingle and other nearby attractions. One day we will return for a few more days.

Het is het totaalplaatje. De gastvrouw Samantha is zo hartelijk en wil echt dat je het naar je zin hebt. Het huis is geweldig, helemaal als je de geschiedenis hebt gehoord. Alles is superschoon en de douche is heerlijk. Ook de omgeving is prachtig. Een aanrader!

Samantha was an amazing host, very responsive and welcomed us when we arrived. The house is really comfortable and bright, and in a quiet area just 5 minutes outside of Tralee.

Suzanne was incredible. Such a wonderful host and had so much available to us including lovely fresh bread and eggs from the farm. We stayed because we were attending a wedding in Ballyseede Castle and the location was perfect. We loved seeing the pigs and the chickens in the morning too

Дом расположен в тихом и живописном месте, недалеко от основной дороги ведущей к Кольцу Керри. Свинки оказались очень приветливыми и подбегали каждый раз, когда мы проходили мимо. Отдельная благодарность хозяевам дома за их заботу и рекомендации, они всегда оставались на связи и помогали с любыми вопросами.

We had themost unforgettable stay in the Old House. Everything about this places felt magical from the peacefull trees surrounding the property to the adorable pigs that made the experience so unique and heartwarming. The cottage was spotless,cosy and restored with so much love and attention to details. If youre looking for a place to stay that feels special, authentic, and full of charm we couldnt recommend it more!

The location, property fitout and all the services were truly excellent. We could not have asked for more.

Lovely cosy house in peaceful location. The house is very well kitted out. We had a great stay. Lovely views over Tralee, too.

All excellent, Samantha was great. There Cottage was amazing with a little treat basket and fire ready to little when we arrived after long journey. We can't wait to go back, kids loved the pigs and we got to see farmer Paudie feed the pigs which they loved.

Die Schweinchen natürlich :) oh wie vermissen wir sie schon. So eine tolle Unterkunft. Danke Samantha für die tolle Kommunikation, deinen liebevollen Korb mit Snacks. Wir haben uns wirklich gefreut bei euch zu sein. Es war alles sehr sauber, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Schweine waren unser Highlight, sie bringen einen sofort zum lächeln. Sooooo süüüüüß:) Danke für alles.

Alles hat uns gefallen. Insbesondere die Fußbodenheizung, ein Badezimmer für jedes Schlafzimmer und die sehr aufmerksamen Gastgeber.

This is the most charming farm cottage beautifully updated and well kept. Situated on a beautiful vista, the location is a relaxing escape. We enjoyed meeting the hosts who live just up the road.

Dom z duszą, niepowtarzalnym klimatem i historią. Gospodarze bardzo troszczą się o gości i zapewniają najwyższy komfort. Wnętrze jest nieskazitelnie czyste, pięknie urządzone i w pełni wyposażone. Miłą niespodzianką na przywitanie były przekąski i świeże produkty na śniadanie. Dodatkową atrakcją są urocze i bardzo przyjacielskie świnie Kunekune.

It's an amazing place, truly a home away from home. Samantha is so nice. The house is beautiful, comfortable and clean. She is available to solve any doubt you could have. Tralee is barely five minutes away with supermarkets and any other thing you should need. It's the perfect spot to visit the Dingle peninsula. Hope to be back someday.

The old house was once a family home in rural Tralee and very typical of of homes back in the 18 hundreds, small homes with big families and a small farm which the family lived off, it has been lovingly renovated in the last years and new life brought back to it and an absolute credit to its owners , Samantha and Paudie, it’s like a home from home with everything you need and more, I have stayed in many cottages before but this one blew me away, outside there is a gateway leading to a Christmas tree walk , the smell of them is heaven, and 4 pigs who if you call they will come and greet you, cutest wee pets ever, there is also sheep and chickens which the owner left us lovely great eggs from plus a other goodies which we thoroughly enjoyed, the cottage has absolutely everything you need, a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, in the kitchen/lounge there is a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dual air fryer dishwasher, tv and a beautiful wood burner which I never got to light as it was so warm but I’m sure in the winter it adds to the cosyness of the cottage, there is two bedrooms one with a bathroom with a shower and a bath and the other with a en-suite with massive walk in shower, and everything was spotless, the host’s Samantha and Paudie were lovely, warm and welcoming, thank you for letting us have the pleasure of staying in your beautiful cottage, I highly recommend a stay

Mes enfants ont adoré les cochons 🐖 La maison est très propre, spacieuse et décorée avec soin. Paudie et Samantha avaient mis à notre disposition des œufs frais, biscuits, apéritifs etc... On s'y sentait très bien, nous aurions préféré y rester plus longtemps ! Un couple très accueillant et disponible 😊

Die Unterkunft war super. Die Gastgeberin extrem hilfsbereit und nett. Rund um das neu renovierte Gebäude gibt es keine Nachbarn, die einen stören könnten. Das Highlight der Unterkunft sind die vier süssesten Gärtner der Welt: vier Schweine, die dafür sorgen dass das Gras rund um die Einfahrt nicht zu hoch wächst und einem immer begrüssen, wenn man durch die Einfahrt läuft.

The house is about 150 years old, but 3 years ago it underwent a complete and meticulous renovation, so it combines tradition with modern elements. It is amazing! The hosts were very helpful. We highly recommend this property. It is in a very quiet location, but at the same time all local attractions are easily accessible.

I honestly loved the whole stay. Samantha was amazing, and let us check in a little earlier, which helped due to weather. She bought up some butter,bread,milk, and orange juice. She suggested a few places to eat in the area aswell which was so helpful. The house was welcoming and so clean. Kids were obsessed with the pigs as well. Thank you so much Samantha for all you did. Definitely coming back😁

This property is very convenient to Tralee. Beautiful rural location. Very quiet. Accommodation is excellent. Well laid out rooms, carefully decorated, all necessities for your stay available. Host facilitated the family with arrival and departure times. Lovely history of the house. Made us feel very welcome. The pigs are lovely.

Loved the homey feel and the view. Samantha was absolutely GREAT!! Had fresh eggs, bread and a goodie basket waiting for us. Greeted us when we arrived and couldn’t have asked for a better host. Bonus was visiting with the pigs and taking a walk thru the Christmas trees. Was able to see a couple of the sheep on our walk.

Everything was perfect, the house is very beautiful and cosy, a great rural experience. We were given a warm welcome by the hosts. I strongly recommend this place!

The house itself is beautiful. In a beautiful part of the world within spitting distance of the airport, the town and the beach. We loved the added touches upon arrival like the chocolates and the fire lit to warm the place up. Being able to go out the door and, within 10 feet, see some pigs was a highlight for us as well, especially my son. The hosts gave us all the information we needed and we're fast to respond when we messaged

Everything was a very high standard and fit-out

Samantha and Padraig really have the knack for welcoming guests. Samantha contacted me a couple of days prior to our visit to advise there was snow around and then sent us directions for the safest route, Padraig was waiting to guide us to the house and show us around (even though we were 30 minutes later than expected). Such a lovely couple and their old house has been renovated so well, underfloor heating was very welcome, beds were comfortable and everything was there we could need. The kids all loved saying hi to the big and little pigs and feeding them some treats. Stayed for 3 nights but could easily have made it longer, great central position to visit Kerry.

Absolutely everything! the hosts were very kind and helpful throughout our time there, the house is renovated and really beautiful and spacious, there was a wellcome basket waiting for us, but an absolute best were the pigs :) we absolutely recommend it to everyone and really do wish that we could come back again one day.

As an experienced traveler The old Belfield house is one of the most superb home away from homes I have used for accommodation. The location is ideal for all areas in short distances and easy to navigate to..arriving at the old Belfield house we were in awe with the beauty of the surrounding farm , we where greeted by the excitement of six friendly beautiful pigs! This was there fore the best trip ever in the words of my 12 year old, the house will leave you speechless with its outstanding beauty , comfort and home amenities! Paudie and Samantha are the delightful husband and wife duo , from the start of my booking who made me feel at ease and welcomed. With constant communication being easy and quick.Paudie and Samantha went above on our arrival , welcome basket, birthday card for my mother, also the information booklet that they have made is outstanding and has absolutely everything. They really are part of the experience of staying in this tranquil area. The house had enough for any tried traveller to come in to coffee/tea , cereal , bread butter eggs and the house was warm and cosy with underground heating also! The beds are to hotel quality and you simply can’t help but to fall asleep with the comfort! The town is a simply 10 min drive with shopping centres and more. The ring of Kerry was 30 min drive away with dingle being 40 mins also. Making the location ideal for comming home to set out travelling in the other direction. I absolutely recommend The old house at Belfield to any one young/old family or solo to experience , it was an absolute pleasure to stay here and I cannot wait to return in 2025!! Wonderful hosts, who go out of their way to settle you in with a welcome pack and check in you regularly, really kind and friendly. Such a beautiful cottage to stay in very peaceful surroundings and the pigs are like little doggies following us around !

Beautifully restored country home in a quiet area. Warm and cozy with every comfort you may need. The hosts are incredible and so welcoming. When Sam found out it was my daughter’s birthday, she had a balloon and gift/treats waiting for us upon arrival. The kitchen was also stocked with breakfast items to make our stay more comfortable.
