Minkfarmen, Spacious seaside cabin with scenic view

Villa stupenda, immersa nella tranquillità più assoluta con panorami mozzafiato. Qui è facile fermarsi, godersi il momento, farsi trasportare dalla quiete che ti circonda. La casa è molto spaziosa, arredata con gusto e molto funzionale, davvero accogliente. Quello che più colpisce sono i panorami che appaiano da ogni vetrata. Dispone di quattro camere da letto, una in mansarda e le altre al piano principale, due bagni (di cui uno solo con doccia), cucina molto ben attrezzata, terrazza e sauna. La villa si trova a pochi minuti di macchina da Ramberg. Siamo stati davvero molto bene.

Per noi non è stato un problema perché eravamo solo in tre, ma su una metratura così grande e con così tanti posti letto, probabilmente una sola doccia è un pochino limitante. Oltretutto il bagno è davvero enorme per cui sarebbe probabilmente stato possibile crearne due.

The views, remoteness, lots of space, well-equipped kitchen.

Window blinds were not great to block out early light; the induction stove switched off multiple times and a fuse needed to be reset.

An unforgettable stay. Cozy, spotless, and surrounded by incredible mountain and fjord views. We tried but even the photos won’t give it justice. The perfect place to experience the midnight sun. We’d happily stay here again!

None. Only one suggestion. Maybe add shampoo, conditioner and soap holders for the shower?

Spacious, sauna, view by the sea

When using sauna , the electricity shut down due to too much power used. We have to turn on the switch again.

All factors were as great as expected: Clean and large space, nice kitchen, sauna, fireplace, and deck. I want to come back in the future.

- Location is great and private with beautiful view. No light pollution from around the cabin and didn't hear any sound from the main road. - The cabin is very spacious. Comfortable bedroom and living room. - Nice to have our own balcony to view the northern light. - Fully equipped kitchen but a bit outdated. It would be great to change the new ones. Overall its okay to use. - There is only one bathroom with shower and another one with only toilet which is fine for us 6 people but it would be nice to have more shower.

- Only minor issue: We faced a problem about shower in the cabin that we couldn't turn on the cool water and got only very hot water to bath. Even sent email to ask the owner but couldn't fix this.

Location, facilities and space

This was a wonderful stay - with all the good things that all the reviews highlight. We loved it.

This is an exceptional place to stay with incredible views. We didn't want to leave the loungeroom. Very quiet and private. There is a sauna downstairs and access to the sea for a cold dip.

In August , there are some traffic in the main road . Could be even perfect in the house was a little bit more far from the road . Nothing impacting the quality of the sleep because the house has a good good sound insulation . Shower pressure good be improved .

The property location is exceptional, with fabulous views out across the fjord towards Ryten to the west and various mountains to the south. Before I arrived, I was worried about potential noise from the E10 road being so close, but I needn't have been. A wonderfully peaceful and tranquil week of incredible beauty, where Lofoten's poetry of light danced endlessly around us. A holiday that will stay with us always.

Frankly, I can't think of anything. It was well-equipped, beautiful, comfortable, warm, clean and spacious with outstanding views. Had a minor issue where we arrived without enough sheets for the three bedrooms we needed, and it was sorted with a quick phone call. I could not ask for more.

Incredible setting, sensitively designed, comfortable and cozy.

Some small additions to the kitchen - bigger glasses, deeper bowls, large chopping board - would help improve the kitchen. Additionally some work around the sauna (more inviting entrance way and a shower) would complete the building.

House is extremely clean. Fantastic scenic view. Highly recommend.

Parking is easy but back out the car to the road seem have little challenge, it could be better if parking place can turn the car around.

The accommodation is well decorated and fully furnished with full kitchen equipped, complete with beautiful views from all around the house. If there were few clouds, we would have seen the aurora from the balcony.

Property was in the perfect location and the large windows and space made our stay so comfortable. The beds are comfy and it is stocked with most appliances. The best part of the place was easily the view however. It is unbeatable. We spent a lot of time just enjoying the views of Lofoten from the property itself.

Wish it was a little better stocked in terms of the bathroom. Would have been nice to have shampoo and conditioner provided but we were told in advance that only the linens and towels were provided so we did come prepared.
