There were no garbage bins in either the toilet or the kitchen. Luckily I had a spare bag, but this was quite unconvenient, and I cannot think of any other reason than that this was done by design. Ants showed up after a couple of hours, so this might have been the reason. Just make sure to keep food in the fridge, and they won't be a problem. Other than that it was very clean. Also, I asked for a receipt for my stay, but two weeks have gone, and still no reply..

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Wunderschön ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern, einer kleinen Terasse und einem großzügigen Bad. Es ist herrlich ruhig und entspannend im Haus. Wenige Gehminuten ist der Strand entfernt. Parken kann man vor der Tür. Da freu ich mich auf´s nächste Mal! Bei Fragen und Problemen ist die Vermieterin schnell zur Stelle und löst das Problem.

While there is nothing in particular I disliked about the property, really the only thing that could be slightly improved is to put a trash can in the bathroom. That is minor though, and it was a wonderful stay and location

Tips. Kunne vært tatt å renset sluket på kjøkkenet. Å søppel dunkene ute luktet. Jeg er under 160 cm. Nådde ikke opp i skapene etter kopper å glass. Hva med en liten trapp å klatre på. (Ikea) 2 trinn

It's located in a historic building in one of the most charming and quiet neighborhoods in Larvik. Great central location near the beach, ferry, downtown. Host provides clear comminication and instructions.

Only fault was the main bedroom was cold when I arrived but that was easily fixed with the provided heater.
