O liked that the property was clean and spacious .The location of the property is away from the city noise.Thank you for the fresh scones, they were so freshly baked !
We loved everything,we literally owned the place for the duration of our stay
Ash Lodge is a very quiet place to stay - besides the very friendly owners of the estate only cattle, sheep and rabbits are around. The available space is huge, the kitchen is very well equipped and has been used by us extensively. All rooms are in excellent condition as well painted and decorated with good taste. We have been enjoyed support to identify the best time for our walk to Coney Island (a MUST!) and were allowed even to use washing machine and dryer. The WLAN is fully functional, the bath rooms very nice and tidy.
There is no Pub or restaurant nearby - you need a car and a 15 ride for getting anywhere; in case you really want to get away from here ;-)

Owner is the "super cheap and don' t care" person. She will save couple euro even that will suffer her custmer. We beg her to turn on heater because temperature drop to 7-8 C at night but she still shut down the heater. We have to sleep wearing sweater to keep ourselves warm. You have to share dryer with her, she keeps it in another building with no light. You have to carry wet cloth walk to another dark building to dry your cloth. We stronly reccommend not to rent apartment from "don' care" owner because she will not help or fix another problem at all.
We were welcomed by Maura who was so nice and helpful, she showed us all around this wonderful clean and tidy house there were complementary breakfast food which we did not expect and milk in the fridge, with 2 bathrooms with excellent showers , Maura had backed scones for us which were delicious.
This was a perfect rural airb&b We had no negative opinion .
Great hosts, great location.
Very clean, warm, comfortable accommodation. The house was a home away from home. It had all you needed including warm home made scones on arrival.
The location is a bit out of the way, BUT it is ideally situated for kilronan castle if attending a function there.
Lovely big house very clean and had some food and coffee when we arrived. We were there for a wedding and this was a perfect location, the lady that owned it was also lovely.
The showers were a little bit dodgy and hot water ran out quite quickly, but there was six of us and you just have to hold the shower down for it to work.
Spacious accommodation, fully equipped, friendly owners
No issues
Maison très confortable et très bien équipée. Bien placée pour découvrir la région et accueil très chaleureux.
The place is off the beaten track but that’s what we loved about it , so quiet and peaceful, property was spotless and the welcome basket was great to get us started, very friendly hosts
Very comfortable, all the facilities.
Everything from the location of the property to the property itself!

Everything was perfect to me. My friends didn't understand english but was happy anyway. The house was cozy and meetings you was nice. Thanks for everything. JMO 😉
Very clean and roomy with amazing water pressure in the shower! Comfy home feeling. It is in the country away from pretty much anything. That’s what we wanted, just something to be aware of! Very friendly family! Full kitchen, 4 beds-2 were a little softer, 2 a little firmer so so something for everyone!!!! Plenty of room for 4+ adults.

- Super clean and fresh, comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of blankets, towels etc. - had food essentials (porridge, milk, tea, coffee, cereal, chocolate, fresh scones). Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. - house is 25 mins drive from Sligo town, its also in the middle of nowhere which was great for the views and countryside. Numerous hikes within a 10 min drive and amazing views of the lakes. Pub 2km away. - Lovely fireplace which could be lit, heat of the house was always perfect. - Tv in sitting room, deck of cards, couches were so comfortable and they are extendable. - Bathroom really clean, pressure of shower is amazing, bath in there too.
House was lovely and tidy and warm, maura greeted us and showed us around she and her son were very welcoming! She left some lovely homemade scones for us too. We were attending a wedding in kilronan Castle and Maura kindly offered to drop us and arranged a taxi to collect us later. Lovely stay
Welcome Pack Spacious Comfortable Laundry Facilities Gracious Hosts Location: 20 minutes to Boyle & 30 minutes to Sligo. If you want to stay away from main centres where it is quiet & peaceful then this is the place to stay.

Lovely clean and comfortable accommodation, with lovely hosts who left a generous welcome basket.
There was nothing to dislike about this property.
Really comfortable - enjoyed the well equipped and spacious accommodation. Host was lovely too
It was clean, tidy, comfortable and peaceful. Love being out in the country with the smells of hay, silage... I spent the first 4 years of my life on a dairy farm in NZ, hence my comment on silage

Perfect home away from home feel. We felt very comfortable here, everything you could need for a family break, plenty of space, and a quiet setting to explore Sligo and beyond. Close to Lough Key forest, which has plenty to offer for kids, and there is plenty to do within driving distance to have a fun trip. The hosts were extremely helpful and made us feel at home.
David and maura were fantastic nothing a bother to them very spacious and clean with everything provided, including a basket of goodies and home made scones. Loved the countryside so peaceful it was like home from home.
Lovely welcome basket with homemade scones and muffins which were devoured! Lovely unexpected treat. 10 mins from Kilronan Castle where we were attending a wedding. Very comfortable and great value!
Ash Lodge was perfect for our stay in the Irish countryside - very spacious and clean with everything provided, including a basket of goodies.
Lovely quiet spot Hosts were fantastic we would definately come again.
This house is in the middle of nowhere with all the peace and quiet you could ever want, perfect. Tea, coffee and provisions plentiful.
was absolutely amazing. A little hamper of stuff was left for us towels and toiletries. It was an amazing location so peacful, and the owners are so friendly and nice

Fantastic property with everything you could need.
The road network in the area is poor especially coming in from the N4 Lough Arrow side.
The ambiance was wonderful, well decorated, fully supplied kitchen to make meals. It was so nice to have a thoughtful ‘gift basket’ of odds and ends and to have milk for tea. Wonderful house and maybe the best shower in Ireland (hot water AND good water pressure). We hope to return.
Come prepared because everything is 20 min away.
A lovely big warm chalet. Fantastic facilities.
Very clean ,warm , homely , the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and any needs that we required made us feel like we had known them for years . Would highly recommend this property . Great value for money and a true Irish vibe from the start and threw out. Will definitely make a holiday trip here again greeted with a lovely basket of Irish goodies and fresh milk in the fridge
Absolutely nothing it was just like home from home

Everything, it's an amazing house, the hosts are super friendly and the surroundings are amazing. Kids loved the house and see/pet the farm animals. Will definitely come back.
The hosts were very nice, the beds were comfortable and the house was clean.
We stayed at Ash Lodge as a family when attending a wedding at Kilronan castle. It is a lovely house with plenty of space and friendly hosts.
We had a very warm welcome from the owners, the property was warm, clean, comfortable and in fantastic condition. it was very comfortable and the owners had thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible, from tea, milk, scones and breakfast food, to lots of fresh towels and even toiletries. It had everything that we could possibly need in every room. This has been far the best property we have stayed in and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much.
There was nothing to dislike.
This is a self service home but the kitchen was stocked with fresh milk and butter, scones, oatmeal, wheat biscuits, tea and coffee. There was a washer and laundry detergent, a great added bonus after 10 days touring.
they included a large gas grill with the room, First time in Ireland.
