No plugs for Lamp shades in the single beds room. Salt Shaker was broken so poured out onto food. Nothing major, still a great stay.

Unfortunately the stove didn't work which we were told about on the day. We were also told the floor outside the toilet was wet which was to be sorted after our stay. There were no tea towels and no rubbish bags provided.

Gate at road frontage was broken and couldn't be shut. Couldn't run kitchen elments and oven at same time or it would overload and trip out. Kitchen was in a serious need of some love... Bathrooms very old and needing love also

Reviewed Dec 13, 2025Location was great for us for what we were doing in Auckland. Plenty of clean towels left in each room and beds are comfy. Even though the property is very tired it's clean inside and had everything we needed, thankyou
We stayed two weekends in a row. The property is very tired inside & out and needs a mager cleanup, new curtains etc. First stay the ensuite shower was blocked & kitchen cupboard broken. The main shower needs new grout as the mould is bad & there is ants in the kitchen. I had 5 teenage girls, so they picked up on alot. Also lots of old cigarette butts outside wasn't pleasant

Reviewed Sep 11, 2025Beautiful, charming and spacious house. It was very easy to check in. We had everything that we needed for our 1 night stay just after the arrival to Auckland airport. The place was a short drive from it. We even had a real wooden cot for our little one that was very comfortable and sturdy.

The beds were comfortable and as it was the end of our adventures the size of your home was just what the kids (and us Parents) needed. Space to be just that bit away from each other. The garden was really nice and the birds it attracted were l mesmerizing.

The strange smell l. Worked out it is from the heat pumps heating up the dust after not being used all summer. Apart from the terrible smell, this is a fire risk! Unit in bedroom actually sent a puff of dust when turned onto heat in the evening. Please please service these units and also air the house before anyone else uses it he property. Two older beds need new mattresses!

The interior is tired and the main toilet and bathroom whilst functional did not look great. The dishwasher did not work.

Reviewed May 9, 2024Good location, very spacious inside, multiple bedrooms, comfortable beds, good for larger families or groups but it's a quiet neighborhood. There are two washing machines! And a ventilation dryer.
Maybe due to the change in weather, we encountered a few bugs inside but otherwise everything was clean. There's no design concept inside, furniture is functional but old, lighting is bleak in places. Minor stuff, just depends on what you want in a place.
