Location was fab to get away from city life.
Lots of flies in the cottage need something to combat that.
beautiful countryside setting. nice little open plan traditional cottage refurbished beautifully. fabulous views. River barrow at St Mullins is fab. St mullins area is a beautiful area to visit.
Traditional Irish cottage Lovely remote locate Picturesque location
Location was pet friendly but not secure to allow dog of leash.
How romantic and idyllic the barn was We didnt want to leave. We will definitely be back again
Hot tub , but I had to clean alot of leaves out of it beforehand. Scenery was stunning but it didn't make up for a terrible place.
NO LOCKS ON BATHROOM DOOR AND WASN'T EVEN ABLE TO CLOSE IT AS THE LATCH WASN'T WORKING. DURING THE NIGHT SLUGS CRAWLING UP THE WALL BY THE TABLE WHERE WE WERE SUPPOSE TO EAT OUR DINNER! WOODLICE CRAWLING ALL OVER THE SHOWER AND SPIDERS ALL OVER THE ROOF. BATHROOM WINDOW WAS COMPLETLY SEE THROUGH. HOT TUB AREA BADLY NEEDED WEEDING. WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE STAY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Absolutely everything such a cosy cottage Heating was on when we arrived the owner even had the electric blanket on..cottage was extremely cosy had everything we needed We will definitely come back
There was nothing to dislike about it
Very cosy, warm cottage with a comfy bed & hottub was fab!
Wasn’t informed that the property was located next door to owners house left within 30 minutes, tried to get in contact with owner and never got a response
We went there intending to disconnect from the world and de-stress. The property is in the middle of nowhere, and the only thing we heard were the sounds of birds: perfection! The view is beautiful, the jacuzzi is a bonus, and the bed is super comfortable. I definitely recommend it and would love to go back.
The water pressure in the shower isn't the best. The floor is quite cold, but they provide slides
It was very peaceful
We were very disappointed with the facility. Damp mouldy conditions in the bathroom Water leaking from the toilet No hot water in bathroom sink and cold tap faulty Rain water seeping through the walls and pooling on the floor beside the bed and electrical sockets Also rain water leaking through the door causing it to expand leaving it almost impossible to open and close All floor tiles damp and wet so we had to have shoes on at all times indoors No Wi-Fi Poor TV reception
the location was lovely
the heating didn’t work we had to buy blankets for heat. the hot tub also didn’t work no matter how many times we tried to get it to work . the shower floods the bathroom sadly. you can hear rats in the ceiling which i have seen others say aswell. and lastly the electric went out half way through are stay
Very cosy little spot, incredibly peaceful and perfect to just get away from everything. The jacuzzi was amazing, and everything we needed was provided for us. Already booked another stay!
Really lovely location, dog friendly and the hot tub was such a lovely extra!
The temperature of the water in the shower was a bit temperamental but we were only there for one night so for a quick shower each it was fine.
Beautiful outside off grid peaceful garden with nice views with a nice hot tub and very comfortable bed
No Internet, room abit too cluttered. Bathroom needs revamped. Cobwebs in corners and under shelves need a wee wipe. Apart from them small things the place was nice.
The location is amazing, beautiful spot
We stayed in June for our first time, they left us a bottle of wine on arrival but this time no wine. Also the hot tub was full of patches, water was going over the top, we couldn't enjoy the hot tub experience as much as our first visit
Amazing place, great hosts and wellness massage is a must have.
Great location near my family good parking by the property and very peaceful
Was all great
Liebevoll eingerichtet
Great for the dogs
No cover outside if it’s raining. Very little room to cook and anything you cook stays in the room with you as there is no extraction fan.
Everything was perfect. Kitchen fully equipped, even ice, butter, milk, biscuits, tea, coffee and wine! Bathroom clean and spacious shower with hot water and strong current. Jacuzzi was divine, hot and available any time of the day or night, and all for just us. 10min drive to local town. Great space to let our doggo run free. Thomas and family very friendly and gave all info needed. So peacefull and quiet, we did not bother the rural place at all. Perfect place for total relaxation with our anxious dog.
The cottage is set in a lovely landscape. It was very homely and the welcome pack was appreciated. Very cosy and the bed was comfortable.
The interior of the barn was shabby and in need of a makeover. Cosy is a good word for cramped! No work surface, I suggest eat out or buy pre-prepared. No access to WiFi
The location was amazing, the hot tub was a bonus and a bottle of wine was left in the property for us which was a nice extra
We can't fault our stay, we loved every minute of it
This place was simply gorgeous. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was when I walked in. the scenery was breathtaking.
Very rustic cottage that has all you need for a stay, We used the hot tub every night because it was clean.
Supplied Internet would have been an advantage, but your own phone internet works ok.
the cottage was gorgoues and cozy we loved our stay the hot tub was a great bonus
Nice quiet location and a relaxing atmosphere
Very peaceful getaway, escape for my dog from fireworks, it was a very lovely place and would highly recommend... All the lil touches and extras were really lovely too.
The pressure of the water in bathroom sink and the size of bathroom sink prob needs to be looked at, as I drowned the floor everytime I used it... But this is a very small improvement rhys needed
Nothing everything was good 👍
Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Nice touch having teas, coffees and chocolate snacks available and small touches like candles and even a bottle of wine.
Comfortable, easy access to amenities.
This location was ideal for us as we were attending a family wedding nearby. The house was cosy, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again
The location was as expected and suited our needs very well.
Everything was good and the owner, Thomas , was very friendly and brought us milk and toilet paper on a couple of occasiobs.
It was a very pretty property in a lovely piece of land. We arrived very late but the owner was understanding and left the key for us. It's a quirky little annex turned barn style cottage. The bathroom was better than expected given previous review. I think the owners must have upgraded it. Lots of plugs, seating area, cooking area et. There was some tea and milk and all the basics were available, except coffee as I recall. It was lovely and toasty when we arrived and a little chilly the next day. Overall I'd stay again. IT was a pleasant experience
Great location very quiet and peaceful. great view The house is very cozy and has everything you need. Very comfortable bed. I recommend this accommodation
Lovely location - hidden away in rural Ireland looking over the mountains. Very basic and quaint one room cottage which is comfortable and cosy. There is no mod cons here, just the essentials. Dog friendly. Loved it and would go again.
Cooking - Go prepared. There is a fridge, microwave, and cooker but there is a lack iof work surface and minimal cutlery utensils and pans etc. We had Chinese takeaways from Jade Garden in New Ross (highly recommended)
Nothing paid in advance arrived and he told us it had previously been booked the day before turned us away still hav not received a refund
Lovely little place to stay , definitely will go back 😊 i
Lovely venue, was right where we needed to stay, comfortable and warm, good facilities
Rats in the attic with openings in the ceilings - contacted the property to change rooms and they never even responded. Also very overpriced for what’s offered
The surroundings are relaxing and pictures.
Was a unique experience being able to spend a couple nights in an old (historic?) cottage. Wifi is available only in close proximity to the homeowner adjacent. Very, very private and quiet.
Nowadays wifi, especially for work would be welcome.
Lovely cosy place to stay with all the facilities you need. Very helpful host.
Lovely spacious studio flat. Very comfortable and cosy and a the bed was comfy too. Generous tea/coffee/fruit supplies.
Wet room and shower were a bit odd and would have loved some wifi.
Quaint and nice garden.
The ad clearly said 1 bedroom. 1 living room. 1 double bed. 1 sofa bed. When my daughter and l arrived, we found it to be ONE room .... combined bedroom/kitchen/living room. NO sofa bed or sparate living room.... not exactly suitable for a 63 year old dad and 35 year old daughter!
The peace and quiet. Lovely location st mullins just up the road riverside cafe and walks. Nice charming cottage with great facilities. Fridge cooker microwave the lot. The host was friendly and welcoming . Also friendly dog
All good really.
Everything was perfect, can't wait to return
Nothing
Nice and relaxing and very private
Location, nice garden arrangements, responsive owner.
Too tight working space in the kitchen.
The beautiful scenery and how quiet it was
A bit dirty in places and the bathroom. Check in was arranged for 1pm. I was told when on the way it was 2pm. There was a powercut for a few hours on arrival. Not the hosts fault but be honest and tell the quests what to expect on arrival. Honesty...Best policy.
Beautiful cottage...Beautiful location.. The owner Thomas is very friendly...Will definitely be back
Very quaint, comfortable & tastefully decorated accomodation. Lovely quiet rural location yet central to several nearby attractions.
Pillows . . .
perfect location for my requirements, and the host was very welcoming and helpful
Very peaceful
I didnt like the shower. Toilet gets all wet
it was lovely. spacious clean and comfortable
the wet room was too small with no way to keep clothes/towels dry.
A pleasant cosy and very dog friendly chalet with great cooking facilities welcoming treats and good outdoor seating- a peaceful location with a dramatic backdrop!
It was a little dark but good lighting and mirrors made up for the lack of natural light
Beautiful location. The owner was lovely and very welcoming. The perfect end to our first visit to Ireland. We will definitely be back to stay at this property.
The mattress could do with an upgrade. The coffee machine was a different one to the coffee pods left. Extremely minor things that didn't detract from our stay at all.
Beautiful cottage. Loved everything about it. Had everything you needed inside.
Fabulous - Great place to stay and will be definitely staying again. Great facilities and extras - choccy biccies, fresh milk in the fridge, range of coffees and making sure as we arrived at night all was ready e.g. lights on, all just showed real care for guests.
I advise against it, I do not recommend it. we booked the house, got confirmation from the owners that everything is fine. Upon arrival, it turned out that there was no free home for us. I don't understand how this is possible
We had a lovely time The Crossing. It was cosy, with plenty of amenities and had a spectacular view. Our host Thomas was helpful, friendly and gave us a guided tour and advice about local area. The view was magnificent as well!
There wasn't anything negative from our experience. For the price and location, as well as the way the place was advertised, I do not think we could have expected more.
