Wasmachine was buiten, werd ook gebruikt door anderen en was de hele tijd bezet. Niet kunnen gebruiken… Oven werkte niet goed, handvatten kwamen los van de keukenkastjes.

Just what we needed, clean and cosy, well equipped, lovely living room. Kids appreciated the toys and books. Great for a one night stop with our 3 children, would recommend!

Authentic accommodation in a traditional farmhouse with thick walls. Watch your head—the doorways are low. The bedrooms are on the smaller side, but the living room and kitchen are very spacious. You’re in the countryside, so I recommend bringing a car. Convenient parking right in front of the entrance. You’re away from the hustle and bustle, which is obvious from the location of the accommodation. Communication with the owners was very pleasant.

We (parents & kids) had awesome time at this house! The kids loved the toys and the books found in the rooms! Netflix was also a plus! Kitchen is fully equipped! We wish we could stay longer! Very good choice for families with many children!

We never had a chance to stay as booking double booked us. The owner was lovely and made sure we got reimbursed right away.

It was so different inside to outside. There’s great attention to detail and a very ‘fancy’ house. The children loved the lift room and all the toys especially putting on puppet shoes.

I found the master bed to be very soft and was in a lot of pain during the night and when getting up.

The cottage was comfortable, homely and quiet with a welcoming interior and well stocked with kitchen equipment, towels and other items. A washer and dryer were provided in an outbuilding. It was well located for visiting Dungarvan, the Mahon Falls and the Copper Coast look-outs and beaches and handy for the road to Waterford. Excellent value for money. We would be happy to stay again.

There were a few minor maintenance issues with the bathroom and cottage exterior presentation. The outdoor picnic table shown in the cottage photograph was not available - it had been tucked round the side due to one of the benches wearing loose.

Our stay here was so good,it had Everything u need,very comfortable and the kids loved it and didnt want to leave...from board games to cards to toys to even a puppet show stand and the kids put on a puppet show for us..high recommend a stay here..amazing 👍

Posizione in mezzo al verde ottima per chi ama la tranquillità ma lontana dalla città. Casa ampia con ognuno la sua camera. Facile da trovare. Lavastoviglie. Tipico cottage con tetto in paglia.

Qualche dettaglio tipo maniglie rotte o cose da sistemare, alcune posate non erano ben pulite ma c'era tutto il necessario. C'era qualche ragnatela e insettino ma tutto sommato era pulito

It was an enjoyable stay, but I do wish the water pressure was better and I didn’t see a washer and dryer on sight.

This was our first ever Airbnb experience and we loved it. The cottage was so cute. Lovely big sitting room with flatscreen TV that has access to Netflix etc. A cupboard with a nice variety of games that our children enjoyed. My son loved the paw patrol toys upstairs. Kitchen had everything we needed including a double airfryer which was handy. The village was only a short distance and the nearby playground looked good. Overall we had a great stay and would have loved another couple of nights here.

Cute cottage. Everything we needed was there. Very friendly neighbours. Loved that its dog friendly.

We love the cottage - it's our third time back. Our kids are big paw patrol fans, and all the toys and vehicles were a huge hit and kept them entertained for the holiday.

The cottage was very comfortable and cozy, it had all those little things that show you that the the owners would like you to feel great at their premises.

Inside everything was perfect, maybe the mountain view from the living room should be a little wider. Outside- maybe there should be some more plants? But generally everything was very good.

This little cottage is an absolute beauty and we had a brilliant stay at The Old Thatch. The cottage is super well maintained, has everything you need and is well located in between various tourist hotspots (Greenway, Beaches, Dungarvin etc.). Our host Tracy was always responsive and gave us valuable tips for restaurants and pubs. We particularly loved that it was dog-friendly and fenced in!

The rug in the living room is rather smelly, particularly noticable during humid days.

Location and style of the home.

The house is incredibly cute with great bedrooms and living room. The kitchen is clean and had everything we needed. There is plenty of parking and a fantastic playground close to the house for families with children. I highly recommend and would stay here again. Excellent communication with host.

The only thing was the upstairs bedroom was warm but downstairs we open the windows and it was fine.

Modern comfort in a traditional setting. Beautiful surroundings and tastefully decorated. Dog friendly and wonderful for families. Lots of interests near by within driving distance. Responsive host and ease of access.

Better stock off kitchen supplies. Other dog poop on grass wasn't picked up. One small bathroom. Bit pricey for one night.

There are not enough superlatives to describe this holiday let. It was like a show house, everything was of the highest quality and spotless. I have an old cottage and know how hard the owners must have worked to get it to the standard they have. The location was lovely and quiet. As we enjoyed our morning coffee we got a friendly greeting from the neighbour opposite. It is deceptively spacious. We would not hesitate to recommend this holiday let to friends and family. My favorite aspect was the little fairy door under the stairs 🙂 This little attention to detail emphasizes the magic of the old thatch.

This didn't affect us, but people over 5'9" may struggle with some of the ceiling heights especially in the shower.

It is a beautiful little cottage so cosy and local to everything 💕 Tracy was so helpful and had everything perfect for us. Would highly recommend 👌

Very homely and extremely comfortable

The cottage was really pretty and had a lovely feeling inside. The sitting room was comfortable and the selection on the tv for the kids was excellent which was a real bonus after a long day. Very clean in the bathroom and in general. The place was cozy and warm as the heating was on timer for a generous amount of time which was lovely in the bad weather. The owner did a fabulous job of adding accessories in a great way to make it even more cosy. Plenty of towels, all lovely and soft. It even had an airfyer which was a nice extra even though we didn’t use it.

Some of the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Maybe they would be ok for small children but not suitable for teens or older children as they were so thin and lumpy. This was a pity because the cottage was lovely and it took from it. Some mould on the walls in places but this I think is to be expected in a cottage of this age. The only other thing that wasn’t ideal was the ceiling heights in the bedrooms and bathroom. Not suitable if you are a tall family as you won’t be able to stand up straight. So If you are 6 feet or over this cottage won’t be for you.

It is a great stop off to re-charge and enjoy a quiet space in a terrific location. The cottage is excellent. Plenty of beds and space to relax. Easy to access and enter. The instructions are really good.

Love love love this place! Gorgeous and really comfortable. There was 3 of us but it sleeps 6 easily plus 3 more kids if you want to squeeze them in. Kids would love it as it’s a perfect little thatch cottage. Really near beautiful mountains and the sea

Not for people over 5 feel 8 inches. Kept hitting our heads. Would have liked some instructions. How to lock the door. Run the oven. Etc. it would’ve been nice to know there was only one bathroom for so many beds. Very small shower.

Brilliant place to stay! Loved the cottage, will be back!

The aspect of the cottage was lovely - plenty of character and a really nice interior arrangement. The kitchen area was really nice and a great setting for a meal and chat at the large table.

I guess the only issue is that there is no rear garden as you share access with another party. This does reduce the light into the property as there is a screen on that side close to the window.

It was a really quiet, charming, and comfy! It was better than I expected! For a family of four, it offered great accommodations. It was wonderful having a whole house to ourselves. I was able to cook for the family. Most of what I needed was provided. While the shower was tight, I loved the towel warmer!

My biggest complaint would be about the motion detector outside the attic door. It's a great idea, but it went on and off all night. My daughter got creeped out. I ended up sleeping with her, but with one eye open. I couldn't figure what was triggering it, as it didn't start until late into the night. It did this the next night too. Ghost or glitch, either way annoying. A petty want, I wish they had paper towels, napkins, or more than one kitchen towel. Lastly, the living room smelled a little musky, but was very welcoming otherwise.

It was spotlessly clean. It was a lovely cottage and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and had supplies for use.

A smell in sitting room but once it was aired out it was ok. The upper bunk bed was a little too close to the ceiling, only suitable for smaller children.

Everything. Met all our expectations. Great communication from the host. Lovely, quiet location. Great, friendly pub 10 mins walk away.

Fantastic few days away with the kids, great location. House was amazing.
