St. Jude's House is a simple, spare, family home, and overall we enjoyed our stay. It met our needs for the most part.

The directions to the home are confusing for those who do not understand Ireland's airecode system, and this was especially true considering that other homes on the same street were numbered exactly the same. The night we arrived was horribly storming and the driveway was difficult to find in the dark. Luckily, the owner answered the phone even though it was late, and helped to direct us. There is a landmark across the street that is visible from one direction but not the other, and this could be made more clear in the directions as well. I looked over the reviews from others who stayed at this home, and I largely agree that there could be mention of what is not included for visitors, and that necessities such as soap, shampoo, etc. is required by the consumer. There is a trend for AirBNBs to include these things, and thus, it is noticeable when they are missing. The directions for shower use are also confusing, as is mentioned in other reviews. Overall, the communication pre-arrival and in-home needs some clarification. I think this would go a long way to assisting travelers.

Great location (10 minute walk to heart of Kilarney. House was clean, quiet, comfortable, and had free on site parking.

Grubby, everything very old , my sheets were older than me I’d say ! , one pillow on bed , spare pillows had no cases I dropped some pills down side of bed and had to pull it out to retrieve , filthy with dirty tissues and wrappers , Euch!!!The back yard looked like a halting site . Cars coming and going as was not enclosed . Heating impossible to control , mattresses very uncomfortable . Very shabby exterior , no wonder there were no outside photos .

It was good walking distance to town

No towels were provided. Had to call and wait for them to be delivered. Instructions to operate shower would have beeb nice to have.

It’s functional and very clean, nice and warm, has a parking space and is a 5 minute (max) walk into town!

We really enjoyed our stay at st Jude’s house , it is located so close to the town centre. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Brilliant stay, lovely clean and spacious. Centrally located, easy walking distance of about less than 10 mins to the high street. Hostess was very friendly and helpful.

The lock box with the key was hard to work and the property was difficult to find. Would also have been nice to have tea and coffee available.

Cosy and comfortable cottage. More peaceful than staying in the centre of town.

Hard to find (there are two properties with the same address, which was not explained). Bit grudging with provisions: no tea bags or coffee, in fact absolutely no cooking provisions. In the kitchen almost no washing up liquid, and no shower gel was provided so it was impossible to wash after a long drive without going to the supermarket!

Nice 3 bedroom house, close to downtown.

Couldn’t get free to air tv to work, some instructions would be nice. The lounge looked quite old, but it was clean. Would recommend replacing it a newer one.

Stale and mouldy smells, no hot water for sinks, we could not control heating.

Location was great. A 10 minute walk from the centre of town. The house was very clean.

The ironing board had a loose cover and it was really difficult to iron our clothes for the wedding. There is no blind on the bathroom window and although the house is not overlooked at the back it did make us feel uncomfortable

The house had everything we needed for our weekday stay. The beds were comfy, and rooms a good size. Deborah was very quick to reply to messages and let us drop our bags off earlier than the stated check in which was very appreciated!

Is within walking distance of town and there are also supermarket, pub and laundrette just up the road which we used. House had 3 bedrooms which was a plus for a family of 4 adults. Plenty of room and parking out front. Would use again.

Finding the location was a bit of a nightmare as there are actually 2 number 13's on the same road, the distinction being that this one also has St Jude's on it that threw us off. The sat nav didn't distinguish that and kept taking us to the other, Got owner on phone and in the end we got there, but I'd recommend clearer instructions to start with

Nice kitchen area, close to town center! Very quiet area! Having laundry was fab! Nice to get in by 2! Some are 4 and that is not as convenient! Thanks much!

Location very good

It was very noisy and the adjoining neighbours barking dog didn't help especially during the night after the children had gone to bed. The windows were dirty and curtains hanging off the window. Bed linen was dated and pillows long over due renewal.

Clean and very spacious two-storey house, just a short walk to the city centre. Free parking space in front of the house (not on the street).

St Judes House is a very comfortable and well appointed property with easy walk to shops, great restaurants and pubs in Killarney and a great base for a visit to the many wonderful attractions in the area. We had a really good stay and will definitely be looking forward to another visit to St Judes House soon as there is so much to see and do.

Nothing not to like very comfortable and well equipped property where we had a great stay and wished we had more time. The property is well equipped and only suggestion would be the addition of a drying/clothes airing rack 😊
