Miellyttävä sijainti lähellä satamaa mutta metsän rauhassa. Helppo tehdä retkiä lähialueelle ja aivan vieressä pöi näköalatorni, jonne kiipesimme

Cottage is surrounded by forest, hundred steps from beautiful lake and couple mins from a watchtower. Lovely place with a big terrace.

Det var rymligt och bra möblerat, inte för mycket möbler och saker överallt.

Sijainti on rauhallinen ja luonnonläheinen, isot ikkunat olohuoneessa olivat ihanat. Majoituksessa on hyvin tilaa isollekin seurueelle ja pihaan mahtui näppärästi kolme autoa, myös sauna oli mukavan suuri. Palveluntarjoaja oli erittäin joustavasti ja nopeasti viestiyhteydessä ongelmatilanteissa.

Majoitus kaipaa ehdottomasti ilmalämpöpumppua, yläkerran makuuhuoneissa oli todella kuuma nukkua (näin toukokuussa) eikä ikkunoiden auki pitäminen auttanut yhtään. Tyynyt ja sänkyjen petauspatjat ovat nähneet parhaat päivänsä, ja vaatisivat vaihtamista. Hieman nuhjuinen yleisilme muutoinkin, seinään piirretty tussilla ja paikat pikkuisen repsottavat sieltä täältä. Kylpyhuoneessa oli melko paljon muurahaisia, muissakin tiloissa niitä oli, mutta määrältään maltillisemmin. Saunan kiuas aiheutti ongelmia, jokin rele oli lauennut ja sitä piti jollain tikulla pienestä reiästä törkkiä (tästä neuvosta iso kiitos Toivolle!) - onneksi oli omasta takaa hammastikut mukana, sillä mökistä emme löytäneet tähän työkalua. Yläkerran lattia pitää kovaa natinaa siellä liikkuessa, häiritsee lähinnä yöaikaan jos joku siellä liikkuu ja muut haluaisivat nukkua - yläkerran WC olisi myös mukava saada lukkoon. Naapurit ovat lähellä, siellä sirkkelöitiin pihalla jotain iltakahdeksaan asti, mikä hieman häiritsi rauhallista luontomiljöötä.

The house is very beautiful, spacious, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. This is the best place I have visited in the last 4 years.

Would be Gem, if owner can upgrade beds and shofa.

Super logement très bien équipé avec une vue magnifique sur la forêt et partiellement sur le lac. Un grand merci à Toivo pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité, nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Very nice and cozy place, with a big living room and amazing terrace with views towards forest and lake, perfect place to relax after sauna. The watchtower nearby makes the location of this cottage even better.

L’emplacement est super au milieu des bois et proche du lac. Le Monsieur qui nous a reçu est particulièrement sympathique et répond aux demandes.

La location est globalement de bonne qualité. Quelques points à améliorer : les draps sont pour des lits d’une place : pas facile pour un grand lit pour maintenir les draps en place, le sauna met 3h00 à chauffer : demande une organisation difficile pour faire un sauna, la télé est trop petite.

Emplacement magnifique entouré de sapins et de myrtilles. On a vu un écureuil, un chevreuil, un jeune élan et un jeune renard qui voulait visiter la maison!! Aussi tout le confort moderne est présent et on a même cuisiné des tartes aux myrtilles delicieuses. Le lac est juste en dessous de la maison ce qui est très pratique.

Manque la climatisation dans toutes les pièces de la maison

Beautiful cabin in the woods close to the lake beach. It had everything you need for a good stay. Recomend !

Very nice cottage in the woods with views on the lake. Very nice welcome from Mr Toivo. Quiet and at the same time close to Padasjoki.

The bed linen to the size of the beds, and a bath mat.

It was amazing. It exceeded our expectations. The house contains 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge kitchen and a super huge living room. Due to a not so lucky weather, we came rather wet. But there is a drying machine in the size of a huge fridge, which dried all our clothes and shoes. This was life-saving. And the sauna! What a treat! Huge and comfortable. And of course, the location is close to the port in Padasjoki and close to the lookout tower. If you want to get some blueberries, you just step outside the house, and you get some from the surrounding forrest. The host was very kind to provide easy access (check-in) and departure. He provided all the needed info, and it could not have been better prepared. Thank you a thousand times!!!

There is no bidet shower as it is very common in all parts of Finland. This was rather disappointing.

Beautiful, quiet nature setting, reachable by public transport. Spacious and clean cottage with everything you need. Kind and helpfull staff. I recommend.

Two of the beds were couches which were not the most comfortable. I recommend to come here in groups up to 4.

The cottage is great, new, spacious and comfortable Fits the environment perfectly (obviously designed by skilled architect) Perfectly placed in the woods, surrounded by trees Great terrace Sauna inside Three bathrooms (one for every bedroom) Privacy and solitude, albeit in walking distance to the village

High fee for cleaning or the obligation to clean the cottage (I dond doubt the necessity to leave the cottage clean, however the obligation to clean toilets, sink, to vacuum clean etc. seems a bit too much) Bed blankets for extra fee (and really high)

I liked that the house is so warm especially the floor and so clean. The house is spacious and well equipped with the big fridge and freezer. I liked the pictures of a bear and a wolf in the livingroom. Terrace has forest and lake view! In the morning when the sun rises, it was so beutiful. It is a peaceful house but at the same time near neighbors and people. I loved that the supermarkets were nearby by car.

It would have been good if there was a bidet shower in the toilet.

The location was great and the cottage had good facilities. The trails around the cottage were good and family friendly

During days the blinds did not block all the lights which could be irritating sometimes

Very spacious and cozy house. Perfectly located just meters from the lake and from the viewing tower. The host was one of the most welcoming persons. The surrounding is very peaceful and charming. Enjoy the day in the nature and then relax in the sauna during the evening.

It would be nice is there were sledges for the kids to have fun in the snow.

Truly recommend! Perfect location, step away from a beautiful lake, in the middle of the forest, surrounded by nature. The place provides calm, quiet and relaxation. The house itself is pure perfection: cozy, perfectly designed, equipped and decorated. Can't imagine a better place!
