Lexi's Lodge

The lodge was perfect for our family. The kids were taken up with the loft room and we were loving the fire and hot tub. The petting zoo was top of the kids list and the town was an easy walk.

Such a great stay. Really appreciated that they provided breakfast. The absolute highlight was the hot tub—enjoying a cold night with all those stars was incredible.

The property was mostly clean, though we did note that the microwave hadn't been wiped down from previous guests. We also suggest adding some face towels to the bathroom amenities. Overall, a nice stay.

Space, hot tub, baked bread, loft and location

This was an amazing little hidden gem. Perfect location and surroundings for 2 young kids. They loved the loft bedroom and ladder. The outdoor personal heated spa, the roaming ducks, rabbits and wildlife. The small petting zoo was a hit for the kids too. Mt Tekapo is a must. It is a pristine location and great for kids during winter with the local snow and hot pools park.

Amazing experience, very special location. Staff were brilliant. The lodge was super unique, comfortable and fitted with everything you need for a stay. The hot pool was an absolute hit and very special stargazing. The complementary goodies from local suppliers was very special and made a very delicious breakfast! Highly recommend.

Everything about the stay was exceptional! The lodge was spotless, warm, and beautifully set up, and the hot tub under the stars was an absolute highlight. The location was perfect: peaceful and private while still close to the lake and town.

Hot tub was amazing. Well equipped and nice extra touches such as bread and eggs.

Beds aren’t particularly comfortable and would be nice to have better bases for mattresses in loft

Amazing location, very clean property and a lot to do through the lodge itself. Very clean and beautiful property in a calm setting. Loved the complimentary farm experience and beautiful golf course. Hot tub was icing on the cake. Overall, a perfect place to stay. Staff is phenomenal and very responsive.

The property was really well kept. The additional touches like the local bread and eggs were such a lovely touch. The facilities especially the hot tub were above and beyond what was expected.

Good kitchen, kids loved the loft space and everyone loved having a hot tub after hiking mt cook all day.

Private cottage-like houses with all amenities.

A bit pricey and given the price point too many house rules to comply 😂. You have to do literally all the chores you do at home. By the way, we complied through the last words. Maybe put all the house rules and charges of not complying in the listing and let people decide upfront if they want to book.

Really like the farm and little zoo

Such a lovely cottage to relax after busy day of sight seeing. The photos don’t do it justice. It was perfect for my family of 5. We all especially loved the hot tub.

It was quiet, well situated to town, on a beautiful little property that had a little petting zoo, that was perfect for my kids. Also had chickens and rabbits on our lawn! The fireplace and hot tub were lovely additions. During our stay we had a massive storm and we very comfortable riding it out for the day.

Nothing we didn’t like.

We loved absolutely everything, such a homely cosy cottage equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable and clean, and we loved the resident chooks and bunnies

Lots of space across two bedrooms (and a bonus loft) with the fire laid and fresh bread on the table. The hot tub was very welcome too. Cherry trees and bunnies in the yard to complete the cottage picture.

The outside of house was muddy with lots of water ponding issue when we were there. The farm experience was also muddy and messy. A bit over priced for its offering.

The only thing missing was some plunger coffee, to use with the coffee pot. Good coffee ro wake up to would make the world of difference.

Great place, patient staff!

An amazing cottage with great facilities! Plenty of space and had everything we needed. The spa pool was a great bonus - being able to stargaze from a hot tub was an incredible experience! The hosts were also very helpful when we forgot a pair of shoes at the cottage.

Gorgeous little lodge. Loved the mezzanine level for our boys, it was fun for them to have somewhere different to sleep. The fire place was so cosy and warm. It was so nice to have fresh bread and chocolates on arrival. The hot tub was a real hit too.

Wonderful staff, very helpful and kind. The lodge was very nice with all the amenities we needed. Tha spa pool was very nice. We loved the garden and the petting zoo as well. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Loverly place, great hot tub. Welcome treats were fab. Plenty of space.

Very creak, soft bed!

Location perfect for travel plans. Everything was of very high quality and did not disappoint. Had we been staying for longer we would have been able to use more of what was on offer within the lodge. The nighy sky was so clear that the stars and constellations on view were mesmerisingly hypnotic!

Minor point with regard to the external hot tub. We did not realise that the water was kept hot. As we were late arrivals, we assumed that the tub would take too long to heat and we needed our bed. The instructions on how to use the hot controls were very complex, did not exactly match the particular tub and so left us confused. Some simpler instructions would have been appreciated.

The “jack and Jill” bathroom. 2 separate doors to one bathroom is difficult. Other than that all was great.

Cozy & warm lodge, alpine style decorated. We particularly liked the fact that the wood was ready in the fireplace !

Excellent service and easy to access. The place was perfect for myself, my husband and our 19 month old. The house was warm, comfortable and safe for my daughter. The snacks on arrival were a nice surprise. The hot tub was great, nice and private and peaceful. The fire was awesome. So warm. The house layout was great with the bathroom accessible from both sides. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was just like the photos online but even better. We got some food to feed the animals too which was cool. Thank you for a great stay.

We fed the farm animals and soaked in the hot tub. We even had a round of golf before heading off to look at the stars.

We did loose a golf ball down a rabbit hole on the first hole.

Loved our stay at Lexi’s lodge. We had everything we needed. Loved the little extra details like the outdoor spa and the fireplace which was all stocked up with wood and kindling and so easy for us to use. We would definitely re-book.

It was a unique and very practical accommodation Little cottage was perfect. 2 great bedrooms with interconnecting bathroom. Fireplace was pre prepared and heated all house Hot tub was a bonus and stars at night Farm animals were also a bonus We were greeted with fresh baked loaf of bread!

No dryer … All else was excellent

Everything. Great hosts, great location, the country feel right in the centre of Tekapo was awesome. Loved feeding the animal’s especially because our Aussie friends had never seen a sheep let alone fed one. Cottage was gorgeous. Such a lovely vibe after staying in new city apartments that are all the same.

We loved our stay at Lexi Lodge, this lodge is really something very special. The place was perfectly cleaned, had all the amenities you'd expect and need and the beds were super comfy. Staff and really friendly and helpful The lodge is in a perfect spot for some peace and quiet, late night stargazing, and a wonderful relax in the hot tub! During the day you can feed the animals who are.all friendly and happy to see guests! We cannot wait to come back

I cannot think of one thing for improvement, this was my favourite place we stayed on the whole trip
