Ocean Front East End Beach House

Home was perfect.

Perhaps more coffee pods.

The four bedrooms each had a SuperKing bed and really good quality linen. The heatpump kept the whole house toasty - didn't even need the heaters in each room. Lots of mirrors throughout the house & heaps of coathangers in each wardrobe. Beachfront location.

Fantastic location and view of the ocean and coastline, 4 king beds is a rarity! Well equipped and very comfortable home! Nice designer touch! Loved having to very modern bathrooms with washer & dryer. Close to many restaurants and things to do!

Absolutely nothing!

Fabulous location. The super kings beds (one in each room) were so comfortable, we all slept brilliantly. Having 2 showers and toilets made the mornings very easy and both had great shower pressure and loads of hot water. Deck was brilliant for eating dinner with the sunset. Host was lovely and very helpful.

We loved it all but thought maybe an extractor fan in the main bathroom and maybe some coloured flannels for face washing could be a good idea (but didn't detract at all from our stay).

It was most comfortable and very spacious. It was close to beach and had a lovely view of the ocean.

Everything. Superb location and uninterrupted views of the beach. Joelene was very responsive and met us at the house to run through a few things. We were only there as a couple but the house would be ideal for larger groups, everything is catered for and nothing is needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A cosy place with the ocean view. Three bedrooms; two rooms having super king beds whilst the last with a king bed. Everything was perfect for us and super clean. The host Joelene was kind and lovely. We're planning to come back definitely for sure! Thank you so much Joelene for your hospitality!

The property has an excellent location. The property was immaculate but not over the top so very cozy and comfortable.

Beautiful, large, well furnished and equipped beachfront property. Joelene was very responsive and helpful. The city is a short drive or pleasant 2 km walk from the property. We spent a very enjoyable 3 nights here. Would definitely stay here again, when we return to New Plymouth.

We enjoyed the location and had plenty of room. It was great to be close to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy. Joelene was very prompt and helpful when questions were asked.

I have been waiting to write this review. First of all, I have to thank Joelene, she was very enthusiastic in welcoming us even though we arrived earlier than expected. In the rainy and cold weather, when entering the house, it was a very cozy and modern house. Everything was comfortable, there was everything you need for your family when living here. Our family was very satisfied, had a very happy time living here. Everything was neat, clean, and complete. In the afternoon, because it was cold, we did not eat outside but we watched the beautiful sunset. If there was a score of 20/10, I would give it to Joelene and her house. The location is also very convenient for shopping and eating.

The view from the deck/lounge was incredible. Stones throw away from the beach. Beautiful big house with comfortable beds and wicked shower pressure! Also has a fireplace which made our winter long weekend away extra cosy.

The host is very warm and friendly, and the house's location is excellent. It's convenient to go anywhere, and it's close to the beach and restaurants.

appreciated the shower soap that was available, it was lovely having proper drinking glasses to use, there was nothing missing or left out, this made living in the house very comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was thoughtfully provided.

Excellent location and really good facilities

Large rooms, great sea view (Sea view from living room) and clean. One of the most comfortable beds I stayed for this trip :) Utensils and facilities are top grade(knifes are sharp), Washer and dryer (dry quickly and doesn’t generate heat) Modern and large TV with Netflix and Disney plus. Quite near to most eateries ( cafes) Warm and friendly owner (Joelene) who stay next door. She introduced us to nice eateries nearby. Brought us the Nespresso coffee pods once they saw our messages via booking.com Pretty potted plants. One of the few properties that I stayed that comes with 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms

Nothing Door to bathroom was faulty (not able to close) Heated towel rail not working. both were resolved during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this exceptional property. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. Spacious rooms, an excellent shower, very comfy beds, laundry facilities plus great outside seating areas with virtually all day sun. We had a lovely view of the sea and a very short stroll to the coastal walkway and beach. We would highly recommend this lovely property and will definitely return in the future.

Joelene was a warm and welcoming host. She greeted us on arrival and gave lots of helpful information about the area. The house was amazing, well appointed and comfortable. All the facilities were first class. The location was close to the beach and had lovely sea views.

The place was immaculately clean. Location fantastic and central to the Walkway as well as amenities in town. Joelene was a fantastic hostess - nithing was too much trouble.

The weather didn't comply!

Super big and comfy beds. Great view. Awesome to have a coffee machine (purchased our own pods). Shower pressure...amazing! So close to coastal walkway. Fire place for colder evening and marshmellow toasting was great

We unfortunately had colder weather for our stay (no responsibility of the hosts lol). The heater in the lounge doesn't heat up the big open space. The fireplace doesn't close off the chimney so the fire burnt out to quick.

The whole place was beautiful and relaxing. It accommodated us all. The spaciousness was second to none. The fact that we had a last minute add on person the accommodation itself could more than house us all.😀

There was only one thing I could fault about this accommodation. The photos do not do this place justice. We had a beautiful 3 day stay and the hosts were so awesome 👍

Excellent location - very neat and comfy.

Fantastic location with amazing views. We were there mid winter and the fire and the view made it perfect. It would be incredible in summer right next to the beach. Joelene our host was friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent with great views and access to the beach. Catered for everyone's needs.

A small gripe that won't affect most people but it stated all on one level but there were stairs to get to the house level.

Beautiful bright and clean Bach on the beach with the lovely Jolene cleaning the windows as we arrived to make sure we enjoyed the fabulous view!

A beautiful home right near the beach with views that cannot be beat. A convenient walking distance to restaurants and shopping district. This home is a treasure and a luxurious stay that you will not want to end. The coastal walkway is a gem.
