Siisti 3 makuuhuoneen uudenveroinen mökki. Kaunis sisutus. Sijainti erinomainen. Hyvät sängyt. Ulkosaunaa varten oli hamam pyyhkeet.

Kuivauskaappi oli erillisessä rakennuksessa. Oma kuivauskaappi olisi tärkeä kosteilla keleillä. Ulkosaunan kulkureitille olisi hyvä olla puuritilät, niin ei kulkeutuisi kiviä saunaan. Terassille olisi kaivattu tuoleja.

Hyvä sijainti 15min. Kävelymatka pirtukirkkoon.

Clean, neat and nice location relatively close to the grocery store and some restaurants etc.

There is no washing machine in the house. Nevertheless the member of personnel let us use company’s laundry.

The sauna hut keeps legs cool and head hot. No good air circulation there.

Wir waren sehr positiv beeindruckt von unserem Appartement. Die Ausstattung war hervorragend – alles vorhanden, was man für die Selbstversorgung braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Ofen im Wohnzimmer, den man selbst mit Holz beheizen kann und der eine angenehme, wohlige Wärme spendet. Die Sauna ist ein separates Gebäude und wird ebenfalls mit Holz beheizt; das war eine neue und sehr schöne Erfahrung für uns. Die Lage von Arctic Home Experience war für uns ausgezeichnet: Supermarkt, Restaurants und der Einstieg zur Langlaufloipe sind in kurzer Gehdistanz. Das schöne Wetter hat sein Übriges zu unserem unvergesslichen Urlaub in Äkäslompolo beigetragen.

We have had the most wonderful stay at Arctic Home Experiences. The house was very clean and cosy, as well as very well equipped. The location is excellent. Kimberley was extremely helpful as a host. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Arctic Home Experience truly a 5-star experience! The location is absolutely perfect, surrounded by stunning nature and offering a peaceful, authentic Lapland atmosphere. It’s also very close to a beautiful lake, which is an incredible spot to watch the Northern Lights — truly magical. The service was outstanding — the hosts were always available and genuinely cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible, helping us with everything we needed. The cabin itself was spotless, maintained at an exceptional level of cleanliness, and very comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect Lapland getaway!

Kaunis ja valoisa villa, kotasauna ja grillikota ihanat ja aikuisporukalla todella tunnelman luojat :). Sijainti loistava. Mahtava paikka aikuisporukan pidennettyyn viikonloppuun! Huippuystävällinen henkilökunta.

Pesukoneen ja kuivauskaapin puute ongelma viikon loman perheen tai maastohiihtoporukan kanssa. Kotasauna lämmittäminen 0 pakkasessa vie 2-3 tuntia, joten pakkasella saunominen voi olla haaste (sisäsaunaa ei ole)

Siisti, sopivan kokoinen neljälle hengelle. Siisti asunto. Kaikki tarpeellinen löytyy.

Kokonaisuus oli mahtava

Saunan eristystä voisi parantaa, esim eteisellä, toimisi talvella myös taukotilana. Välillä tuli kylmä saunassa. Eli jostain pääsee ilma läpi

Siisti talo ja hyvä sijainti. Ilmainen lataus sähköautolle ja oma ulkosauna olivat myös plussaa. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällinen ja vastasi nopeasti.

Asunto oli aamuisin melko viileä, mutta onneksi oli takka, joka lämmitti nopeasti.

Immaculately clean and comfortable cabin within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and nature. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Ons 6 persoons huis was fantastisch! Een prachtige locatie op loopafstand van de restaurants en winkels in het dorp. Het huis was ruim, gezellig, schoon en heel comfortabel

Logement très confortable avec beaucoup de charme, proche des commerces et activités. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié d'avoir un sauna privé.

Tout était parfait

Es war alles perfekt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war bestens ausgestattet und die Gastgeber herzlich und jederzeit erreichbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts.

We really had an amazing week in this cute little house. The accomodation has a well-equipped kitchen and is modern, clean, and tastefully furnished. The oven gives a cozy vibe. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They also helped us during our stay with heating up the sauna. The location is ideal, in the small village of Äkäslompolo. Shops, restaurants, and everything else within easy walking distance. Tours like Snowmobile or Hiking were bookable in the direct neighborhood.

Chalet très confortable, très bien décoré, accueil très chaleureux Kimberly et son mari sont adorables et nous ont donné de nombreux conseils. Le sauna privé est vraiment un plus très apprécié! Et les activités proposées sont très bien.

A lovely well equipped and very clean cottage, close to hiking routes and a local shop. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Easy to reach from Helsinki without a car (just take an overnight night train to Kolari and carry on with a local coach which drops you 2 minutes walk away from this property). October was a low tourist season in the village but a perfect autumn break time as we saw northern lights, many reindeer and enjoyed nature walks (and sauna). Highly recommended!

Mökki on todella viihtyisä ja ihanan inspiroivasti sisustettu. Yhteydenpito mökkiasioista oli vaivatonta ja sujuvaa. Mökki on hyvin varusteltu ja omaa todella mukavat sängyt. Kotasauna oli koko perheen suosikki. Mökkiin tullessa oli tervetullut olo. Rauhaisa yksityinen sijainti, vaikka olikin todella lähellä kauppoja ja muutenkin keskeisellä paikalla. Sijainnista iso plussa. Varaan mökin mielelläni talvella uudelleen.

Ajattelin, että tämän tasoisessa ja hintaisessa mökissä olisi viilennys. Sitä ei ole, jonka vuoksi mökin sisällä oli yli +30 astetta ulkolämpötilan ollessa +24-30. Tämän vuoksi en suosittele kesäkohteeksi. Päivät meni hikoillessa ja iltaisin yritin läpivedolla ja kaikilla muilla keinoilla saada sisälämpötilaa alle +30asteen. Parhaimmillani sain +27 asteeseen. Laitoin sisälämpötilasta viestiä asiakaspalveluun ensimmäisenä lomapäivänä. Vastasivat, etteivät tee asialle mitään, koska ongelma on alueella yhteinen ja kehottivat nauttimaan lomasta. Toisaalla sentään saatiin lattiatuulettimet paikalle. Tämä sisälämpötila jäi hieman harmittamaan. Kotasaunan ovi ei pysynyt kiinni, mutta se lienee helposti korjattavissa. Valaistus (katossa) oli ihana ja moderni, mutta toimi vaihtelevasti. Myös lattia oli laadukas, mutta tummunut kovimmilta kulkualueilta. Helposti putsattavissa. :)

There was lacking curtain in one bedroom, thus making it impossible to make it dark in the morning.

The interiors are thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the snowy surroundings. One of the highlights for us was the lovely sauna, a haven of relaxation where we could recharge and enjoy the ultimate winter indulgence. It added a touch of luxury that made our stay even more special. Every detail, from the well-equipped amenities to the impeccable cleanliness, reflects the care and passion Yannick and Kimberley put into creating an exceptional experience. We can’t recommend this place enough – it’s not just a stay but a winter retreat you’ll never forget.

The property has a fantastic location, is very well-maintained, spotlessly clean, warm, and well-equipped. The host was excellent—thank you for a wonderful stay!

For future improvement, adding more lighting by the bathroom mirror and a bidet in the bathroom would be great. Also, providing additional cleaning products for the kitchen, such as a sponge, would be helpful.

Everything was perfect! Accomodation was better than on the pictures. Location was excellent and house was very clean. Everything was thought of, Yannick and Kimberley were excellent hosts. They made us feel right away at home and were quick to reach if we needed anything. Definitely recommended. We were able to see the northern lights from the house.

Nothing everything was perfect

The houses are really nice and spacious, well equipped, beds are comfortable. The stove heats well and you have your own sauna and a common closed fireplace for BBQ. You are in walking distance to all commodities and there is lots to do in the surrondings (also outside the snow season : we did hiking, biking, canoeing and aurora watching). A big thank you to Kimberley and Yannick who helped us with every request we had. It's just great to have so nice contact person just next door if needed.

Great location with shops, restaurants, cross country tracks, ski bus and airport bus stop nearby, accessible without car. Top quality cottages, extremely friendly hosts.

Few tips to improve experience even more: axe to cut wood smaller to make it easier to put fire on in fireplace and sauna, some chairs on the terrace to sit in sun after skiing, washbowls for sauna.

Cabin is ideally located - is has its quiet but also close proximity to shops and skiing tracks. Cabin is new and has classy interior. Our cabin accommodated 6 adults cozily.

We are quite experienced people with sauna but unfortunately we couldn't get the sauna to heat up even after hours of warming up. Kitchen was spacious but lacked room for storing staples and as Finns we really missed the kuivauskaappi (drying cabinet) for the dishes. We had a sports vacation and own washing machine would have been a nice. But maybe this is also a Finn thing (doing laundry during holiday)

Cabin was really nice and clean. Hosts were nice and flexible with our schedule and needs. We had a really nice 6 days there!

Nothing we didn't like but some comments :) Laundry machine would be nice, especially if planing to stay a little longer. We were looking for some items, for example bottle opener and a sieve when cooking pasta.

Fabulous large modern cabin in a fantastic location, feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but a nice walk to restaurants, shops and the supermarket. Close to Yllas swing and ice swimming and Akaslompolo lake. Couldn't ask for more. Has a beautiful log fired sauna and a kota shared by the cabins. Saw the northern lights from our bedroom window 3 night in a row. Drying cabinet and as many logs as you need in the shared shed.

the lodge was brand new and very comfortable. the houses are very good located, close to the lake, but still in an oasis of silence between the trees. it felt like staying in the woods. Every home is very well equipped and has it own private wooden sauna. it was everything we had in mind when we came to Lapland.
