Targa Imoula Luxe

Wauw, we werden zo vriendelijk ontvangen door gastvrouw Widad! Doorheen het volledige verblijf zorgde ze er steeds voor dat we ons comfortabel voelden en dat we niks misten. Ook het eten, verzorgd door Mustafa, was formidabel! Echt het beste eten dat we in Marokko aten, zowel ‘s avonds als ‘s ochtends. Wij verbleven hier zodat we de Toubkal konden beklimmen. Op vraag regelden zij een gids voor ons, alles was mooi in orde. Onze valiezen konden terwijl in de kamer blijven staan. Dit verblijf willen we dus zeker aanraden voor wie naar Imlil komt en eventueel de Toubkal zal beklimmen!

De kamer deze was schoon en netjes daarnaast mocht ik mijn eigen kamer uitzoeken dat was heel fijn

Het personeel is heel aardig. De kamer is schoon en het bed is comfortabel. Er werd meerdere malen aan ons gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Kortom zeer aan te raden om hier te verblijven als je naar de bergen gaat.

De badkamer heeft geen ventilatie.

Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr gutem Frühstück. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich.

Le seul truc qui m’a dérangé, ma chambre était juste dessus de l’entrée et pour y accéder il fallait sonner donc j’ai été réveillé plusieurs fois dans la nuit par des locataires… juste une petite remarque aussi, la superficie ne correspond pas aux photos et à la réservation .

Tout est bon rien à dire Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est vraiment très accueillant, gentil et disponible. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié leur attention et leur professionnalisme. La propriété est très propre, bien entretenue et agréable, avec une belle ambiance et un cadre reposant. L’emplacement est également excellent, avec une très belle vue et un environnement calme, idéal pour se détendre. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour son accueil et sa gentillesse. Surtout wiydad et Mustapha Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir et nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !

El desayuno espectacular y el salón donde se sirve tanto el interior como la terraza con vistas a la montaña y la atención del personal.

La habitación en la que nos alojaron era en el piso de abajo. Y así como en las web aparecen las fotos de los pisos superiores con terraza y vistas a la montaña, en mi caso no fue así para nada. En el baño había muchos bichos, y diría que el techo tenía termitas porque aparecían constantemente como virutas que caían de arriba.

De vriendelijke mensen die deze prachtige plek runnen en uiteraard de geweldige, schone kamer en het heerlijke ontbijt. Ook het feit dat ik de auto mocht laten staan in de nacht dat ik in de Toubkal Refuge overnachtte, was erg top.

De kamer was ruim en schoon. Het personeel was ook ontzettend vriendelijk. Ik mocht mijn auto geparkeerd laten staan na het uitchecken op de dag van mijn beklimming en overnachting op de Toubkal.

Krásné a čisté ubytování, bohatá a vynikající snídaně a ochutnali jsme jeden z nejlepších tajine za náš pobyt v Maroku. Dokonce jsme chtěli po sestupu z toubkalu využít znovu, ale bohužel již bylo vybookováno.

Tagra Imoula Luxe was by far the best accommodation during our 8-day stay in Morocco. The recently renovated rooms were spotless and of such a high standard that they easily surpassed many 3- and even 4-star hotels. The hospitality of the hosts was truly exceptional. We tried several dishes during our stay, including three different tagines, and every single one was outstanding. Widad speaks excellent English, so communication was effortless from the very beginning. They were also very flexible, allowing us both an early check-in and a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valley. We are certain that we will return in the future. One small tip for future guests: the location shown on Booking.com is not entirely accurate, but the locals know the place well and will happily point you in the right direction. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend the Targa Imoula luxe Peaceful Getaway is great for a relaxing and scenic stay everything was perfect. The entire team was friendly. especially Mostapha and widad, they making us feel right at home. It’s a great place to relax, and the location makes it incredibly convenient. 10/10!

Un amigo y yo nos quedamos hospedados en este hotel para subir el Toubkal. Nos encantó la amabilidad y el servicio del personal. Fueron muy hospitalarios y el desayuno era muy bueno. Las habitaciones estaban muy bien equipadas. Volvería sin lugar a dudas. El personal habla inglés bien y se tiene buena comunicación.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful little mountain village. The rooms were modern, spacious, and very comfortable , exactly what we needed after long days of exploring the area. The views from the property were lovely and added to the peaceful atmosphere. A special thank you to Widad and Mustafa, who made our stay even more enjoyable. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The location was also perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the village’s main restaurants and cafés, making it easy to explore on foot while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing stay. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Imlil and the surrounding mountains.

We loved Targa Imoula! The hotel seems brand new, but still has tons of character! The two dining areas - second floor and rooftop - are both so lovely, with absolutely stunning views of the mountains and the rest of Imlil. The rooms were wonderful! Comfy firm beds, and windows (and a terrace) that looked out to incredible views. The hotel staff were fantastic as well. Everyone was kind, friendly, helpful and generous. It is clear that it is a family operation, and in some ways it felt like we got a tiny peek into family life in Morocco. The breakfast was wonderful, and we had dinner one night at the hotel and the food was fantastic. Because dinner was during the Eid holiday, they insisting on gifting us dinner for free, and would not take payment. It was a generous, and very kind thing to do. We were the only guests there over Eid, and felt guilty that we were taking the staff away from family during such a special family holiday. Yet, everyone seemed so happy to have us there, and even provided dinner as a gift. It was more than anyone could have asked for! This family is amazing, and the hotel is really lovely. You will enjoy your stay here!

Beautifully decorated rooms and hotel, comfortable beds, large breakfast, helpful staff. We stayed in the twin rooms on the ground floor and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The heating worked well. Location is great, just a quick walk down the road to the main area. Parking is free, on street. Wifi is decent. Great value for money, I'd stay here again.

Widad and Mustafa are both 2 great hosts. They helped us with everything during our stay. The room was very cozy and felt great all in general! Will definitely come back and recommend this place.

No solo me cocinaron especialmente una comida que les pedí (dado que me sentía mal) sino que copiaron exactamente el plato que les pedí. We absolutely loved everything about our stay. From the warm welcome by Ouidad to her incredible attention to every little detail, she truly went above and beyond and made us feel completely pampered throughout. The room and bathroom were spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The meals - both breakfast and dinner - were generous and absolutely delicious. And the view from the rooftop? Simply breathtaking. An unforgettable experience from start to finish.

The hotel was very clean, the food was really tasty (both breakfast and dinner) and portions were huge! We could also do the laundry, which was nice. But the best thing about this place was the staff- especially Ikram and Mustafa. They made sure our stay was perfect and we felt like home. Other staff members were also very nice and friendly, smiling all the time. We loved it there!

Abdul, who I guess you'd say was the manager there, was exceptional. 100% friendly, eager to help, but not in an overbearing way - always knew when to talk, and when to leave you alone. We had many, many chats, and he showed a genuine interest in me, without having any ulterior motives, which I thought was refreshing. Speaks really good English too. Just an excellent human being. I stayed there either side of climbing Mt Toubkal. I stayed in different rooms. Both were clean, and beautiful, and perfect for my needs. Breakfasts were large (for me) and delicious, and the spaghetti bolognese was so good I had it all 3 days I was there (note, I'm not a foodie, so other people may disagree - though a young Belgium couple thought so too!) On a separate note, Imlil is a beautiful place, and the views from the terrace of Targa Imoula, with Mt Toubkal facing you, are stunning stunning, stunning! 100% recommend this place!!!!

Having to leave!

We were greeted from our taxi by the hotel host, Abdul; a very pleasant young Moroccan who went out of his way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Our first impression of the hotel was a lovely rustic setting. This didn’t disappoint upon entering where we met with a traditional lounge area to complete the obligatory paperwork. After, we were shown to our simple yet very comfortable rooms, featuring a double bed with en-suite shower and toilet. Once settled, we were offered traditional mint tea and a light bite was also arranged for us. Throughout our stay, Abdul was on hand to offer any assistance and was always keen to know how our day had been. The evenings were whiled away with him, learning about each other’s cultures and origins, in which he was very interested and keen to understand. Breakfast was served promptly at 08:30, consisting of local breads, a selection of jams and spreads, Berber crepes, and omelette. As mentioned earlier, Abdul went above and beyond to ensure all our requirements were exceeded, including the arrangement of printing of our boarding passes (when we realised that Marrakech airport doesn’t accept e-passes!) with a local friend. He was always polite and very well spoken, with local connections to make easy arrangement for whatever you may require during your break. Overall, our stay at Targa Imoula was a delight and is it well recommended to anyone looking for a base camp whilst trekking in the Atlas Mountains.

Targa Imoula is a wonderful place to stay when exploring Imlil and its surrounding neighborhoods. The hospitality was laudable and Abdel is a beautiful soul who makes sure that everyone feels at home. The breakfast is delicious and served on the terrace with breathtaking views (during the warm months). The rooms are small and simple and have everything you need. It is quiet at night and there are additional blankets provided for the cold nights. Wifi works well but is only available in the common area and on the terrace. I extended my stay because I loved the place, and I hope to be back soon.

During the time of my visit, the shower did not provide hot water.

Abdullah is a great host. Vert attentive and always there for a conversation about Moroccan culture, society, and local hiking routes. He was very kind, and always extremely happy to help. He was truly a great host. The location was superb and Imlil is a beautiful "authentic" Berber village. The terrace is the highlight of the property, with stunning views through the valley.

The rooms are very basic and small. The Wifi is not great and should be improved to cater for people who need to work while staying there.

Abdul is an amazing host. I stayed here the night before climbing the Toubkal. Abdul offered me a free shower after my return, which was highly appreciated.

Abdul welcomed me in gracefully and I instantly felt at home. The rooms were well kept with private restroom/shower. The views from the terrace are absolutely stunning. Got at Targa Imoula for just one night and promptly decided to extend our stay. Here we felt extremely welcomed by our lovely host, who had many attentions to make our stay even better.
