Já não foi a primeira vez, e passa a ser tradição irmos todos os anos

Gostei de tudo na estadia, desde a simpatia dos funcionários, ao espaço acolhedor e à excelente localização. Foi o lugar perfeito para um fim de semana de tranquilidade e paz. Recomendo!

Os trilhos poderiam estar melhor sinalizados e explicados aos clientes, de forma a facilitar a sua utilização.

This is my second time staying here, a beautiful, quiet place that offers a real sense of calm. It is remote, especially without a car, but we were able to use uber when needed. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed relaxing there, also in the gardens. All food was fresh and they had lots of options available. Breakfast was a real feast! The staff here are brilliant. Very kind and welcoming. We had a lovely stay and look forward to staying again!

We liked everything!

El personal fue maravilloso en todo momento, muy amables y con disposición de ayudar siempre. ¡El entorno, el desayuno y la piscina son espectaculares!

La cama y las almohadas no eran nada cómodas, lo que impidió que pudiésemos descansar bien. Creo que deberían disponer de algo más de mobiliario en la piscina para que al menos hubiese una tumbona o silla por habitación.

El sitio es perfecto si buscas tranquilidad y quieres desconectar. Por la zona hay sitios cercanos que merecen una visita, por ejemplo Alte. El personal es muy amable, ofrecen una visita a la Quinta que no pudimos realizar, la próxima vez. El desayuno ha estado muy bien, muy completo. No te pierdas observar el cielo por las noches.

Nada que indicar, si acaso incluir en la habitación una pequeña nevera.

The lake for swimming in, the food, the staff

The pool felt enclosed much preferred the lake. The heat of the room during of the day. So much window that the air con didn’t cool it.

Absolutely exceptional place. One of the best value for money spots I've ever been at. Fantastic and friendly staff. Very clean, modern and stylish rooms. 10/10 delicious local food. Especially the breakfasts. The whole area is magical, like a fairytale.

The stay was absolutely perfect. One nice to have additional thing would be a fridge in the room. We had our own snacks and the staff were kind enough to store it in their fridges though.

Heerlijke locatie op enorm domein. Er zijn wandelroutes over het hele domein die starten en eindigen op de slaapplek, zoals naar de meren die op de foto’s staan. Er is een restaurant ter plaatse waar je de hele dag door eten en drinken kon bestellen, wat heel aangenaam was. De puntjes uit de vorige reviews (zoals roosters zwembad of gebrek aan parasols) werden ook opgelost, zagen we. Het ontbijt is heel uitgebreid, met lokale producten.

We misten de activiteiten die ter plaatse werden georganiseerd omdat we niet wisten hoe we die konden reserveren en hoe laat die werden ingepland. Het zou dus handig zijn om op voorhand duidelijk te communiceren. Ook de kajaks moeten op voorhand vastgelegd worden.

A beautiful place away from the tourist crowds

Quinta do Freixo is stunning and a gem in a less touristic part of Algarve. We were in awe of the mountains, trees, the trails, the animals, everything. The farm tour was especially interesting. It was so wonderful to get to know about the family business, their approach to farming, and learn about the region's native trees and plants. Even our little kids listened to every word of the tour and were especially enchanted by the animals. We also really liked the fact that we could use Quinta do Mel as another base, their sister property closer to the coast line. We ended up using the pool there after going to the beach, and then staying for dinner.

Honestly, I can't think of anything in particular. The servers always went above and beyond; we definitely want to come back to Quinta do Freixo!

Lekker ontbijt, rustige locatie en overal kraaknet.

Het zwembad mocht een nieuw rooster krijgen op de bodem, daar kon je je voet in omslaan.

Local muito calmo, perfeito para descansar, mas com várias atividades disponíveis para os mais ativos! A decoração rústica dos alojamentos, a simpatia e atenção do staff, super prestáveis. O restaurante do alojamento é 5*, com produtos da própria Quinta.

Contacto com a natureza e o passeio de trator!

The dog owned by the hotel was running around the pool even though there were kids. That was a no go. Given the dog is really big.

O único ponto menos bom é as moscas nos quarto , porque acabam por incomodar no sono

O pequeno almoço é muito bom, o melhor sumo de laranja que já bebemos na vida. Infelizmente não tivemos tempo para ir à piscina, mas queremos voltar num fim de semana prolongado e com bom tempo para descansar e aproveitar melhor. Muito estacionamento, e a vista do quarto com uma das paredes toda em vidro é muito bonita e tranquila.

Ao acordar tinhamos uma lagartixa a passear pela parede do quarto. É um hotel mais rural no meio do campo, pelo que compreendemos, mas para quem tem medo de bichos talvez não seja muito recomendável.

De kamer is basic (klein terrasje met 1 stoel, geen tafel), geen frigo in de kamer, slechts 1 wasbak achter de deur en het kussen was te veel zacht.

We had a wonderful stay at Quinta do Freixo. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in the Panorama Room, which was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The room had air conditioning, large towels, and a spacious, spotless bathroom with a great shower. The views from the property are absolutely stunning and were one of the highlights of our stay. We also really enjoyed the pool area, which was perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a good variety of options. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, creating a lovely atmosphere, and the dinner we had there was excellent. A beautiful place to unwind, with great service, amazing views, and attention to detail. We would happily stay here again

Overall, we had a great stay, but there are a few small things that could make the experience even better. It would have been nice to have additional pillows available in the room, as we found the mattress a bit firm for our preference. The breakfast was good and fresh, but the selection was somewhat limited. We felt the same about the restaurant menu, which was tasty and well-prepared but could offer a wider variety of dishes. These are relatively minor points, and they did not take away from what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Prachtige rustige omgeving

Aussergewöhnlich ruhig und naturbelassen. Wir haben die Sonnenuntergänge und die Weitsicht in die Ferne und den Sternenhimmel sehr genossen. Das Personal hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben alles extrem Sauber zu halten. Frühstück was ausgezeichnet inkl. frischgepresstem Orangensaft und Croissants. Auch die Zeit am Pool und die Wanderungen um herum haben wir sehr genossen. Man kann sich dort sehr gut entspannen. Restaurant ist ganztägig offen und spätes Frühstück ist möglich. Wir sind dankbar dass die Küche speziell für uns eine vegane Speise anbieten konnte. Halbe Stunde Fahrt zu den Stränden in Albufeira und ca. 50min nach Faro.

Es gab keine Minibar/Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Ein Stuhl wäre auch nicht schlecht. Ich weiss nicht ob es daran lag dass wir nicht im Hochsaison (Ende Mai) da waren, aber das Menu im Restaurant war eher begrenzt und in Ordnung, aber nicht aussergewöhnlich wie wir erwartet haben. Wir hatten von anderen Bewertungen gelesen dass es saisonale Speisen mit im Haus produzierte Gemüsesorten angeboten werden. Das war bei uns nicht der Fall, obwohl hausgemachte Marmelade am Frühstück angeboten wurde.

Zeer mooie plek om tot rust te komen. Mooie kamers en mooi restaurant. Lekker ontbijt en lekker avondeten.

Geen parasollen en weinig mogelijkheid tot schaduwplekken bij het zwembad.

Superbly presented farm building and modern rustic look and feel. The restaurant was pricey but high quality, as was the wine. My Wife went for a swim as we had had a warm days hiking. Defo have breakfast (see pic)

The most expensive stop on a 6 days backpacking trip, but thats not a negative you are rich !

The hotel was beautifully done out, decor, furniture, bathroom/shower, the garden full of flowers.

The food for us wasn’t brilliant. Breakfast was adequate, dinner I’d go somewhere else personally. I had chicken stew and it was full of bits of bones, not pleasant in the mouth at all. And yes I did mention to them.

O sítio é realmente mágico e bonito. Fomos muito bem tratados, destacamos o Sr Ramos que nos fez o check-in e nos ajudou com todas as questões.

La amabilidad del personal, la limpieza de las habitaciones, el entorno es precioso y el desayuno estaba delicioso.

No es que no me gustase pero hubiese agradecido una carta algo más amplia en el restaurante, sobretodo para las cenas, ya que la quinta está algo retirada de zonas de restauración, y el entorno invitaba a cenar tranquilos allí después de la jornada de visitas.

Acho muito positivo o cliente poder usufruir do pequeno almoço até mais tarde, isso é raro. Os preços, bastante acessíveis, tendo em conta a altura do ano e a zona. Em geral gostámos muito e fomos muito bem atendidos e recebidos.

O facto de, uma vez, no momento de almoçar não haver os pratos na ementa por ausência da cozinheira. Penso que numa altura destas tão importante em que a maior parte das pessoas estão de férias, deveria de haver uma alternativa já pensada antecipadamente, na minha opinião, mas não é o meu caso, e é motivo suficiente para o cliente já não voltar, uma vez que devem saber melhor que eu, existem pessoas muito picuinhas. Outra questão foi eu precisar de uma linha e uma agulha para cozer um vestido, perguntar a um funcionário s e tinham, e não recebi feedback nenhum. Sei que não têm de satisfazer este pedido mas, pelo menos, podiam mais tarde dizer algo. Chamo a atenção para a entreda na piscina, pois já faltam alguns "azulejos na base" e alguém se pode magoar.

Ruhige Lage. Beim Frühstück dürfte mal nachgefragt werden.

Rustige ligging in een mooie omgeving. Je kan fijne wandelingen maken op hun eigen terrein welke goed zijn uitgezet met paaltjes. Super ontbijt met producten van eigen land. Een heerlijk plekje om tot rust te komen, maar je bent ook zo overal.

Adorámos a paz e tranquilidade do local, a simpatia de todos os funcionários, o pequeno-almoço e o sossego da piscina. Apenas sentimos falta de um colchão mais confortável e de um pequeno apoio para a mala no quarto, mas no geral a experiência foi excelente. Voltaremos com certeza!

La estancia en Quinta Do Freixo fue toda una sorpresa porque nos encontramos en un lugar muy agradable, con todos los servicios imaginables para descansar y un personal amabilísimo. La habitación y el personal fueron excepcionales, el desayuno también maravilloso, el que ofrezcan cenas me parece un punto a su favor. Había más niños lo cual para nosotros fue un punto extra ya que viajábamos con nuestra hija.

Friendly staff, but several problems during our stay. The living room had no windows, the door didn’t lock (the room was always open), the shower wasn’t working properly.

עסק משפחתי מתוק, הצוות מקסים והפשטות מהממת. יש למלון אגם מדהים ויפהפה. מטע של תאנים ומסלולים קצרים וחמודים בחווה.

לא לכל החדרים היו מגבות לבריכה וכשביקשנו נאמר לנו שאין מספיק במלון… אין כספת בחדר ואין מקרר (מיני)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived early and the staff took care that my room got ready for an early check in.

The pool is nice. Unfortunately, there is not much space and shadow at the pool when it’s really hot outside. Some of the sun lounger were broken, one very dirty, umbrellas were missing. It is stunning place when it comes to the view and landscape. The food was okay but not great. I am really sorry, this could be such a great place but it’s missing a bit attention to details.

Znaleźliśmy to miejsce przypadkiem i nadal nie dowierzamy że nam się to udało. Quinta do Freixo to miejsce pełne magii, miłości do zwierząt i szacunku do przyrody. Nie wiem czy dobrze zapamiętałam imiona córek jednych z właścicieli (starsza to na pewno Katerina) ale począwszy od tych dziewczynek, ich cudownym Tacie który pokazał nam całą farmę i z ogromem uczuć opowiadał o życiu na niej. Te kilka dni zbliżyły nas do życia właścicieli, do ich codzienności ale i starań o to aby każdy kto tam jest mógł cieszyć się bliskością natury. Piękne miejsce, wspaniałe jedzenie i cudowna obsługa.

Die Quinta ist ein toller Ort im Hinterland der Algarve. Perfekt zum abschalten. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sehr schön mit Liebe und Bedacht ausgestattet. Das Zimmer war großzügig und ebenfalls sehr geschmackvoll. Die Gastgeber und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es werden regionale Produkte aus eigener Herstellung angeboten. Das leckere Frühstück kann flexible über den Tag eingenommen werden. Die Abendkarte war (für Vegetarier) klein aber fein. Wir würden hier beim nächsten Portugalurlaub wieder absteigen und es sehr empfehlen.

Un séjour inoubliable à la ferme ! La chambre, décorée avec goût et pleine de petites attentions était tout simplement parfaite. L’accueil a été exceptionnel ! Le petit déjeuner était un vrai moment de bonheur : copieux, avec des confitures maison, du pain frais, des produits locaux… un vrai régal dans un cadre bucolique. Nous avons d’ailleurs choisi de rester dîner les deux soirs, tant la cuisine était savoureuse, authentique et généreuse. Un véritable havre de paix, ressourçant, où l’on l’on déconnecte vraiment. Un immense merci aux hôtes pour leur passion et leur bienveillance. On reviendra sans hésiter !

This is a great place all round. The venue is great, the staff is super helpful and knowledgeable, the food was nice, especially the breakfast. The swimming pool is also super, especially on a hot day. There are all sorts of activities available, some depending on the day of the week, including helping to pick produce from the farm, or walks on the estate.

There's nothing I didn't like. It's all good.

Het was een prachtig hotel waarbij alle producten hoofdzakelijk van de eigen boerderij komen. Je hebt verschillende wandelroutes waarbij je over het hele terrein kan gaan variërend in moeilijkheid. Er is een heerlijk zwembad en het personeel is vriendelijk, vooral Katerina De kamers zijn ruim en bevatten een landelijke uitstraling. Je kunt een tour doen met de eigenaar en de trekker waarbij je veel informatie krijgt over hoe hun de boerderij runnen. Er zijn ook twee meren met een strand waarin je lekker kunt zwemmen.

Een prachtige authentieke locatie waar je volledig tot rust kan komen. Je wordt warm onthaald in een uitgestrekt landgoed van een familie met een hart voor de natuur. Ze proberen wat ze aanbieden in hun restaurant zoveel mogelijk zelf te produceren en dat proef je. We hebben ook genoten van de farm tour inclusief een duik in de fantastische twin lakes. Top 🤩

Прекрасне місце для зупинки на ніч, а також для відпочинку. Чудовий інтер'єр, красиве та доглянуте подвір'я. Тихо та спокійно. Усе максимально чисто та зручно, з номером усе добре. Сніданок чудовий, дуже смачний.
