Parabéns Robert. Um local fantástico para descansar, desfrutar da natureza e com características típicas de uma aldeia. Um cozinheiro de mão cheia e sempre com um sorriso e amabilidade. Não observamos nenhuma barreira linguística... antes pelo contrário o seu português é muito bom. Foi sem dúvida uma excelente experiência e que deixa muita vontade de repetir.

Un lugar precioso,para disfrutar de la naturaleza en el parque natural de montesinhno Su dueño encantador, simpático y atento El hotel rural,precioso y con detalles antiguos. Un ambiente comodo y trankilo. Cena y desayuno muy buenos y caseros. Muy recomendable para descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza o hacer rutas por la zona

Gostei de tudo. O sossego da vila, o ambiente tranquilo e, principalmente, a forma como fomos recebidos pelo Roberto, sempre muito simpático e prestável. O jantar e o pequeno-almoço foram excelentes, com produtos caseiros e de muita qualidade, o que tornou a experiência ainda mais especial. Para quem viaja de mota, é ainda melhor, pois dispõe de uma grande garagem onde podemos guardar a mota com toda a segurança. Foi uma excelente experiência. Sentimo-nos muito bem recebidos e sem dúvida que recomendamos! 👍🏍️

Our host Robert was amazing, very passionate about this property and the services he provided. Food was lovely (dinner and breakfast), and some new and surprising dishes which were serviced in a lovely atmosphere. The village is very lovely with a lovely cafe/restaurant well recommend for a lunch/dinner. Facilities were excellent. Robert allowed us to park the motorbike in his garage which was nice. The property offers plenty of well traditional decorated rooms to sit in and read the plentiful supply of local knowledge/information.

A forma como fomos recebidos e todo o ótimo serviço prestado. A amabilidade de quem nos recebeu é genuína. Pequenos almoços e jantares incríveis, com boa confeção. Foram atenciosos com a nossa bebé neste aspeto também. Um local que tem um passado bonito e isso está espelhado no Robert.

Robert is a very nice and helpful host. He manages to provide delicious Portuguese food and all the environment is very cosy and familiar. The swimming pool is wonderful and very clean. There are some Irish poneys and cats at the property that we loved to see.

O Robert foi excepcional! Um anfitrião e "chef" de primeira água... O jantar e o pequeno-almoço debaixo da ramada foi maravilhoso. A piscina e a zona envolvente deu para disfrutar das estrelas no céu ao serão. A abóbada celeste parecia estar mais baixa e perto de nós... Sossego e paz...

Azar com a avaria da caldeira mas mesmo isso não impediu um bom banho com temperatura "tépida"...

Tanto a aldeia onde fica, como o próprio alojamento, são lindíssimos. O espaço mostra que foi construído com cuidado e atenção, sem recorrer a soluções standard. Isto aplica-se á decoração, atendimento e comodidades. Apesar de ter cerca de 20 anos, está extremamente bem cuidado e mantido, com vegetação e animais em todo o redor. As refeições são de boa qualidade com recurso a pratos maioritariamente portugueses, e ao jantar os hóspedes são convidados a jantar juntos, criando-se um ambiente amigável e familiar. Tudo neste alojamento se desenrola de uma forma gentil, calma e positiva. O staff é de uma amabilidade extrema, com nota para a sensibilidade do anfitrião Robert, em relação a todos os detalhes da estadia. Existem um café, um restaurante e um bar nas imediações, bem como uma série de trilhos com passagem pela barragem.

Apenas como alerta, não se trata de um constrangimento do alojamento mas sim da aldeia, a circulação de carro pode ser difícil. Apesar do anfitrião compreender muito bem e falar português, a comunicação será mais fácil em inglês.

A Lagosta Perdida is a little GEM hidden away in Montesinho village in the Montesinho National Park Portugal. The owner /host Robert was an excellent host who was extremely welcoming and helpful. We arrived on our Motorbike and were greeted by Robert who then directed us straight into the cool underground garage . This was just heaven as it was very hot riding !! The house is beautiful and the room great with it's own exterior entrance / exit door. The house also has it's own swimming pool with amazing views to relax by. Robert also cooked the evening meals and we were able to sample genuine Portuguese dishes which were just delicious and very plentiful. The breakfast were also lovely and again plentiful.

Everything was just great at A Lagosta Perdida ( The Lost Lobster ) and we would love to return !!

Ótimo alojamento local para usufruir de uns dias de descanso na aldeia / campo. O gerente, Sr Robert, muito simpático, cordial e excelente cozinheiro. Comida variada ao pequeno-almoço e jantar, com produtos locais e caseiros que o Sr Robert nos preparava e nos dava a provar. Excelentes áreas da casa rural para desfrutar de espaços de lazer. A referir um espaço dedicado a crianças e jovens, onde os mesmos (e os adultos) se perdem a brincar (sobretudo longe dos ecrãs). Excelente local para descansar e desfrutar da natureza, perto de Bragança e das Aldeias Rio de Onor e Gimonde

Sentimo-nos em casa logo no primeiro momento. Fomos muito bem recebidos num espaço muito acolhedor, com excelente gosto na decoração e sobretudo no cuidado em todos os pormenores. Jantares caseiros deliciosos!

Le jardin et la piscine sont superbes, c’est un très bel endroit pour se reposer et ne surtout rien faire ! Robert est un hôte très attentionné et sa cuisine est délicieuse …

En Robert és molt agradable i disponible. La casa és una meravella molt acollidora i tant l'esmorzar com el sopar perfecte. L'ubicació ideal per desconectar. Molt recomanable.

Von außen ahnten wir nicht, was uns innen erwartete: ein wunderschön renoviertes altes, zum Hotel umgebautes Gebäude, mit Licht von oben im mittleren Teil, einem großen Zimmer, sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Diese Liebe zum Detail fand sich in der ganzen kleinen Hotelanlage wieder. Wir konnten leider nur eine Nacht dort verbringen, wurden mit einem leckeren Abendessen sowie Frühstück verwöhnt und sehr freundlich vom Besitzer empfangen. Wir haben uns rumdum wohlgefühlt und können dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein wunderbares Refugium in traumhafter Natur und beeindruckender Abgeschiedenheit. Das Zimmer war perfekt in Größe, Funktionalität und Komfort. Unser Aufenthalt wurde durch die Herzlichkeit von Eugénia und Joan zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis. Unbedingt hervorzuheben ist ebenfalls das fantastische Abendessen. Auch die beiden Katzen, die Hunde und Pferde haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem absoluten Highlight gemacht. Sehr gerne kommen wir zurück, ein ganz besonderer Ort in dieser Welt.

Desde el lugar donde estâ hasta el último detalle es extraordinario. El anfitriòn ( Robert ) es una persona excepcional. Ya al entrar en la casa de piedra y encontrarme con una pareja de cajas B&W 704 sonando me dijo que la estancia iba a ser especial y así lo fue. Algo Excepcional. El desayuno y la cena què ofrecen es extraordinario.

We stayed here as part of a longer motorcycle trip, and this was probably one of the most memorable places we've ever stayed. The location is very remote, set in a small village with very little around it, which is exactly what we were looking for. It felt peaceful, authentic and completely different from anywhere else on our trip. The property itself has clearly been restored with a huge amount of care and attention to detail. It retains its original character, but has been thoughtfully brought up to a very high standard without losing its charm. It feels special without trying too hard. The host was excellent – experienced, welcoming and very natural in his approach. He struck a perfect balance between being attentive and giving guests space, which made the whole stay feel relaxed and genuine. Parking was also excellent for us travelling by motorcycle. There is a secure garage opposite the property, which gave us complete peace of mind and was a real bonus. Food was another highlight. As there are no local restaurants, an evening meal was provided, and it was superb – clearly prepared with care and a real sense of occasion. Breakfast was equally good and a great way to start the day. Overall, this felt like a very special place to stay. Everything came together to create a relaxed, high-quality and memorable experience.

Os pequenos almoços e os jantares foram excelentes, bem como a simpatia e disponibilidade do proprietário. O quarto dispunha de todas as funcionalidades necessárias. A localização é também excelente, para quem procure contacto com a natureza e sossego. A poucos quilómetros do alojamento localiza-se uma zona de paisagens de montanha deslumbrantes, em que se inserem as albufeiras das barragens de Serra Serrada e Veiguinhas. O alojamento está também a poucas dezenas de quilómetros zona turística espanhola do Lago de Puebla de Sanabria.

O sinal da internet no quarto era relativamente fraco, mas admito que se trate de situação relativamente à qual o proprietário pouco possa fazer.

O Robert é a alma da Lagosta Perdida, um anfitrião incrível. Sempre disponível e fez-nos sentir em casa. Montesinho é bastante sossegado e por isso a Lagosta Perdida é o local perfeito para quem quiser descansar e relaxar. Recomendamos vivamente!

Breakfast and Evening meal was very good and met all our expectations. Robert the owner looked after us in every way. Our dog was welcome and a log fire was lit as we sat with a drink in the afternoon.

The location of this precious gem, in the middle of Parque de Montesinho, allows you to truly disconnect and focus on the essential. Also the way it is managed and built truly makes you feel at home away from home. Robert, is an amazing host and we thank him a lot for making us feel so at ease during our stay.

Unser Gastgeber hat hier eine Oase geschaffen, in der wir uns von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt haben. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist an die Bedürfnisse eines Reisenden angepasst und vor allem der Gastgeber ist herzlich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Umgebung bietet sehr gute Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Radfahren.

A lagosta perdida foi pensada como prenda para oferecer e superou muito as expectativas. Desde das refeições, ao silêncio e ao conforto. Apoio ao cliente muito bom no qual permitiu que fosse possível a supresa.

Wonderful, secluded spot. Really special. Beautiful rustic rooms, but clean and with modern bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were true highlights, with Eugenia being incredibly nice and accommodating.

Einfach ein rundum wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Das Personal sehr liebevoll und aufmerksam, wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen gefühlt, auch unser Hund wurde liebevoll umsorgt! Das Haus ist wunderschön und das Dorf sehr authentisch. Es gibt wirklich gar nichts zu kritisieren es war einfach ein wunderschönes Erlebnis! Sehr gerne wieder! Herzlichen Dank!

Het charmant huis, het onthaal, het avondeten (inclusief) , de locatie. Door de afgelegen ligging is het zeker een aanrader het avondeten bij te boeken. Pluim aan de supergoede kokkin Eugenia, en aan de vriendelijke uitbater Robert ! Je moet wel van een afgelegen locatie houden, want er is weinig te beleven in het dorpje. Ook het zwembad is een pluspunt en het mooie terras met druivenranken

Veel vliegen op de korte wandeling van 5km wandeling, heeft uiteraard niets te maken met het verblijf.

Lovely characterful hotel in picturesque village. We were well looked after and had a lovely meal.

This is an amazing little place, for some down time. We were met by Eugene who gave us access to a very large secure garage and then showed us to our very spacious room. We were introduced to Robert later that evening, where we enjoyed an absolutely delightful 3 course meal. The pool/scenery was also very enjoyable. The whole experience was superb and if we ever find ourselves in that area again, we will definitely be revisiting.... loved it!

Very welcoming hosts. The house is very cozy and homey. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Ótimo espaço, acolhedor, limpo e agradável num ambiente de pura natureza. O quarto muito confortável. A simpatia do anfitrião é única e as refeições são otimas e caseiras. Vale muito a pena!

Sopa maravilhosa, comida caseira claramente, o arroz de Pato podia estar melhor, mais seco e com cobertura de queijo, e devia haver outra oção para quem não gosta. Pequeno almoço com otimo café, torradas excelentes, mas podia ter mais variedade, ex ovos mexidos.

Local muito bonito e sossegado, simpatia do anfitrião, refeições caseiras muito boas, limpeza do espaço.

Poucas opções ou sua quase ausência na escolha das refeições, apesar da comida ser excelente. Quem tenha restrições alimentares deverá avisar previamente e acredito que o Sr Robert irá resolver o problema.

From the moment we arrived Robert, the owner, could not have been more hospitable. He welcomed us into his beautiful house and garden and we felt truly at home.. Our bedroom was large and comfortable. Our days started with a delicious breakfast, then time by the swimming pool, exploring the pretty village and rounded off with supper served either on the terrace or in the sociable atmosphere of the dining room. We hope to return to this idyllic spot in the Montesinho national park - a very convenient 4 hour drive from the ferry at Santander.

Todo! No puedo poner ninguna pega. Nos encantó! Cuidado, precioso y Robert te hace sentirte como en casa. Piscina perfecta para un buen chapuzón. Cena y desayuno caseros. Las habitaciones están super aisladas y no se oye absolutamente nada. El pueblo también bien vale un paseo. Monísimo! Nos llevamos queso y mermerladas caseras de una tienda. Volvemos!

Robert is an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to chat to (though not obtrusive). The property cooked us a lovely meal for dinner. The pool is a good size, lovely temperature with great views. The neighbourhood was very quiet, it was very peaceful. We wished we had stayed there longer and would definitely return if in the area....

The access road to the property is very narrow.... more of a warning if you are in a large SUV....
