B&B Waterput 1

Wir haben einen perfekten Kurzurlaub bei Hilde und Eric verbracht. Die beiden sind so wundervolle und herzliche Gastgeber, die uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen haben. Wir haben uns unheimlich wohlgefühlt. Angefangen beim Frühstück, das liebevoll zubereitet wird. Es gibt allerlei Köstlichkeiten: Selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Joghurts, kleine Überraschungen aus der Küche sowie frische Brötchen vom Bäcker. Unser Zimmer war blitzsauber und wirkte wie frisch renoviert. Auch hier wird auf Details, wie frische Blumen auf dem Tisch, geachtet. Das komplette Haus der beiden ist ein Traum. Idyllisch, modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage zwischen Brügge und dem Meer ist zudem auch ein großer Pluspunkt. Wir bekamen die besten Tipps aus erster Hand für einen Stadtbummel sowie eine große Fahrradtour, quer durch die schöne Landschaft um Stalhille herum. Wir werden diesen Aufenthalt immer in wunderbarer Erinnerung behalten und auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn es uns mal wieder an die belgische Küste verschlägt!

De kamers zijn netjes en stijlvol ingericht. Je kan zien dat hier zorg en aandacht is aanbesteed. Fietsen konden in de garage geplaatst worden. Leuke en vriendelijke mensen en hebben aandacht voor hun gasten. We werden iedere ochtend verwend met een heerlijk ontbijt.

Alles tip-top, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wohnliche Atmosphäre. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und geben gute Tipps für den Aufenthalt.Das Frühstück war einfach nur Klasse. Es gab keine Wünsche die nicht erfüllt wurden. Es fühlte sich nicht wie Urlaub an, sondern eher wie bei Freunden.

De locatie is perfect voor een citytrip naar Brugge of voor een heerlijk diner aan één van de kustplaatsen (met zicht op de ondergaande zon). Verder was het ontbijt voortreffelijk en zijn Eric en Hilde aangenaam in de omgang en hebben zij goede tips voor de omgeving. De kamer was erg schoon met een heerlijk bed en een ruime douche.

Die nette, unkomplizierte, fürsorgliche und herzliche Betreuung durch Hilde und Eric. Das Zimmer und die Unterkunft waren mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das traf auch auf das Frühstück zu, das keine Wünsche offen ließ (frischer selbstgemachter Joghurt, Eier in allen Variationen auf Wunsch...). Wir mussten nicht einmal unser angestaubtes Schulenglisch bemühen, da wir in perfektem Deutsch betreut wurden. Eric hat uns immer mit neuen Ideen (und Proviant ;-) ) für Unternehmungen versorgt. Es war ein Urlaub, der Dank der beiden Gastgeber wunderschön und entspannt war und keine Wünsche offen ließ. - Vielen Dank es war einfach nur schön bei Euch !

Heerlijke kamer, zeer schoon, goede bedden. Voortreffelijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Hilde en Rene zijn hele vriendelijke en sociale mensen.

Niets 😀 Persoonlijk had ik het fijn gevonden om een koffer krukje gehad te hebben. Maar dat komt ook omdat wij op rondreis waren en daardoor een grote koffer hadden.

Ik zou niets kunnen bedenken

Eric und Hilde sind fantastische Gastgeber, immer bemüht um das Wohlergehen Ihrer Gäste. Das üppige und abwechslungsreiche Frühstück war der perfekte Start in den Tag. Auch die "Trust Bar" mit einer Auswahl an Bieren und alkoholfreien Getränken haben wir gern genutzt. Egal ob der Fahrradreifen aufgepumpt werden musste, Tipps für den nächsten Fahrradtrip oder Empfehlungen für den Strand, das Essen oder den Besuch von Brügge - es war immer lohnenswert, den Rat der beiden zu beherzigen. Unser Zimmer mit dem modern ausgestatteten separatem Bad war trotz der hohen Sommertemperaturen von über 30 Grad am Tag durch gute Isolation und Abdunklung nachts sehr erträglich. Der große Garten mit vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, ebenfalls wundervoll.

Nur Kleinigkeiten: Der alte Bauernschrank sieht hübsch aus, ist aber wirklich unpraktisch, wenn 2 Personen ihre Kleidung verstauen wollen. Im Eingangsbereich haben wir einen Kleiderhaken für Jacken vermisst.

Das B&B ist super gut. Die Betreiber sind wie ein kleine Familie. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum. Alles frisch. Helfen wo sie können. Immer ein offenes Ohr. Das einzige was ist. 5-7 Kilometer vom strand entfernt. 3 cafes- Restaurant. Abends kein Tanzlokal Aber der ruhe haben will, ist es top😎👍👍😎

Es war ein sehr schöner und entspannter Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend! Die Ausflugstipps sind Gold wert. Die Unterkunft hat eine gute Lage für Ausflüge nach Brügge, an die Nordsee etc. Man wird rundum versorgt

Erik en Hilde zijn enorm gastvrij en betrokken. We waren bij hen tijdens Pasen. Het ontbijt was zo luxe en lekker. We waren onder de indruk. Verse broodjes, zelfgebakken taartjes, zalm, kaasjes, vleeswaren. Verse sappen. En een paashaas. Op de kamer water en paaseitjes. Verder koffie, thee met koekjes. Wijn, bier en fris op de gang. Compleet verzorgd en ontzorgd.

We vinden de omgeving niet bijzonder. Alleen het plaatsje De Haan is gezellig.

Heerlijk ontbijt met lekkere verse producten. Goede ligging tussen Brugge en de kust. Genoeg parkeergelegenheid. Verder alles tiptop in orde en zeer vriendelijke en attente gastvrouw en gastheer.

A wonderful stay, excellent location for visiting the Christmas markets. Erik and Hilda were wonderful knowledgeable hosts where nothing was too much. Erik explained lots of tips to us for visiting Bruges I.e parking/ things to see etc. They also went above and beyond when we lost a bag on the last day calling local bars for us to retrieve it!! I can’t write a review and not mention the breakfast- the best ever, plentiful supply of local and homemade products. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!!

3x genoten van een lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt met vers appelsiensap. Koffiekoeken en verschillende soorten brood waren iedere dag aanwezig alsook vers fruit,yoghurt en verschillende soorten kaas en vlees.Ook zelfgemaakte confituren en zelfgemaakt appelgebak was beschikbaar. De kamers waren van alle comfort voorzien en zeer hygiënisch. Onze fietsen konden we opladen en mochten we in de afgesloten garage zetten. Ook nog een woord van dank voor Erik en Hilde die de B&B met hart en ziel beheren. Wij hebben van de eerste tot de laatste minuut genoten van ons verblijf en we kijken uit om zeker nog eens terug te keren.

Die Eigentümer Eric und Hilde waren sehr nett, hilfsbereit und haben uns super Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Wir bekamen ein fantastisches Frühstück, das Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel und wir können diese B&B sehr empfehlen. Die Lage ist ideal zwischen dem Meer und Brügge.

+ belle maison de campagne entre De Haan et Brugge -propriétaires d’une gentillesse incroyable, on se sent pratiquement comme chez des amis, j’ai même reçu un produit à appliquer pour mon problème de dos, super sympa 😊 + propreté exceptionnelle, on peut littéralement manger par terre + petit déjeuner à tomber par terre, plus que complet et avec des produits locaux et de qualité, confiture maison magnifique !!! + chambre belle, confortable +SDB nickel, tout est ultra moderne + calme absolu, belle vue +On peut profiter d’un beau jardin din et lézarder au soleil 😎

Wir waren ca. eine Woche im B&B Waterput 1. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag exellent und vor allem jedesmal anders. Es gab Tipps für Ausflüge und abends hat man auf ein Glas Wein zusammengesessen. Die Herzlichkeit von Erik und Hilde hat unseren Urlaub noch verschönert. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und die Betten bequem. Vielen lieben Dank für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Liebe Grüße Merle und Tatjana

Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr, sehr reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich, liebevoll serviert. Hildegard und Erik verwöhnten uns und es war jeden Morgen ein Genuss in stilvoller Umgebung in Ruhe zu genießen zu können.

Erik and Hilde are exceptional hosts. Not only was the place spotless, the breakfast top notch but it was also nice and quiet. They gave us tips for parking in Brugge, good spots to visit and they were very friendly. On top of that they are LGBTQ+ friendly and made us feel very well taken care of. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Thank you for having us!

Alles klopte voor ons . Een kleinschalige bed and breakfast in de stilte vande polders gelegen. Een prachtige ruime kamer , met zithoek onder het dakvenster , een kleine bibliotheek met inspirerende kunstboeken , een meer dan gastvrije gastheer en gastvrouw waar je bij thuiskomt en elke morgen een ontbijt serveren dat meer een brunch dan een ontbijt is . Wij gaan zeker terug , Een ware parel is dit . Mooie mensen , mooie omgeving , mooie bed and breakfast . Je komt als vreemden en vertrekt als vrienden ..

Hele mooie B&B. Alles was perfect in orde. Kamer klein maar alles was aanwezig. Ontbijt was heel lekker. Er was maar dan genoeg. Gastheer en gastvrouw waren heel gastvrij.

Er was geen plaats om ergens te gaan zitten buiten je kamer ( living).

This is a wonderful B&B, very clean and very quiet. The breakfast is excellent, the hosts are super friendly and attentive, and it's a great location between De Haan and Bruges. There is a lovely patio and garden which guests can use and just outside the room are coffee/tea facilities and a small fridge. Parking is free and readily available. We were given maps and tips on where to visit, which was really helpful. Things I personally liked: really comfortable bed and pillows, fluffy towels, great water pressure in the shower, exceptionally clean.

Not a criticism, just an observation - different to Germany, there is one large duvet for two people. Excellent location if you are travelling by car or if you enjoy cycling, but maybe a bit out of the way if you are relying on public transportation.

The rooms where very well equiped and clean! The location is in a small town, but perfectly situated between brugge/oostende and knokke! All around 15 km drive, so more than enough to do! Eric and Hilde the owners where super friendly and helpfull, and organised a very tastefull and beautifull breakfast, with as an extra regionall products! All very delicious!! For sure we are going to visit them again!!!

Very friendly owners, felt very welcome in their home, easy communication, breakfast was lovely. Got some great recommendations to visit in Bruges. We would definitely go back if we need to be in the neighbourhood of Bruges again.

Erik & Hilde were the best hosts ever - so friendly, caring and excited to tell you all about their local area. They also speak many languages so can cater to all travelers. The rooms were lovely and well outfitted. The breakfast was AMAZING and showcases delicious local and homemade goods. The location is great in a peaceful rural town, just a short drive to the beach or Bruges. Plenty of free street parking.

The wifi was hard to get working (there is a difficult to use splash screen), but we weren't there much to use the internet.

Excellent experience! Hilde and Erik were incredible friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. Next to the beautiful house, breakfast including great tips to explore the region was definitely a highlight!

We don't have enough words to express how great was our stay at this place. We felt like at home and 5 star hotel at the same time. Thank you Hilde and Erik for everything and with hope to see you again.

This is by far the best B&B I have ever tried. Every detail you would think of has been above expectations. The house is typical for the region, our room was cosy, confortable and spotless clean. The breakfast was royal, with local and homemade products. I loved Hilde's jams and the ham salad! But the best thing with this B&B are the hosts Erik and Hilde. They truly make you feel like home. Their warmst, their kindness and the discussions over a coffee on the terrace are what B&B is all about. Erik gave us advice on the things to do in the region, the farms where we could buy local cheese and the best icecream place. Our stay with them was just perfect and would love to come back soon.

The host was 1st class, the accommodation 1st class, the continental breakfast excellent with great variety. We have been using B&B for short breaks for the past 40 years in the UK and Europe this is by far the best we have used. Thank you Erik and Hilde.

Wonderful stay at Waterput 1 B&B! Oh my goodness! Our hosts, Eric and Hinde were very warm, welcoming, friendly, gracious, giving; I could go on and on. But instead staying with them is a great experience that you will tell your friends about it so that they can experience it themselves. It is hard to believe that we were their first Americans to stay with them. Not sure why, other than others didn't do their research and find this diamond of a B&B.

I guess the only one thing we didn't like is that we didn't plan our trip to stay longer. But now we know and can plan a longer stay. Even though there is not an elevator, Eric insisted on carrying our bags up the stairs. He wouldn't take no for an answer.

We have been here for the second time as everything is better than you can imagine but the best thing is the breakfast. No hotel can do the same. Don't eat anything in advance and don't plan lunch in an expensive restaurant! From Flemish liver pate to Hilde's homemade jams, from Eric's fresh fruit salad to Belgian pastries, from French Croissants to Dutch chocolate sprinkles, Eric and Hilde are the nicest host you can imagine. They always go the extra mile (thanks for lending us -for free- your E-bikes!!) Furthermore, the dining room is a place where people meet from all over the world. It is an experience in itself. Don't think twice! Just go!

Hosts were very kind and open to help us finding the best place to visit in Brugge or at the sea shore. The breakfast was magnificent. We have got choclate and beer from our host.

Absolutely exceptional hosts Erik and Hilde run the perfect B&B. The rooms are cozy and well furnished. Everywhere is clean and pleasant. The breakfasts are royal and locally sourced. The pastry is especially excellent. E&H also deliver their products to the table ( yogurt with fresh fruit and cereals its from Hilde is 1**** and Erik's zucchini block 1**) If possible, I will definitely come again.

Very comfortable, clean and a lovely place to stay. The room was large with a little annex where one could sit and read if desired. The hosts were available to answer any queries and were very helpful. The bed was very, very comfortable and the location quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the local restaurant, in the village, was fantastic.

Erik and Hilde are extremely friendly, caring and helpful hosts! We enjoyed the comfortable apartment, the atmosphere, the unrivaled breakfast and the nice talks with other guests and hosts a lot!
