L Heure Bleue

Die Zimmer waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Véronique war eine super sympathische Gastgeberin.

2eme séjour à l’Heure Bleue. Tout est parfait: c’est très beau, raffiné et calme. On s’y sent bien. Véronique est très accueillante et arrangeante pour ses hôtes. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel.

L´Heure Bleue ist ein wunderschönes Chambre D´Hotes, das von Veronique liebevoll, aufmerksam und professionell geführt wird. Man bewohnt für sich alleine die oberste Etage mit Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer und Badezimmer eines kleinen Hauses in einer ruhigen Vorortlage von Brüssel, ca. 15 Minuten mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln von der Innenstadt. Es fühlt sich an wie eine kleine eigene Dachwohnung mit viel Privatsphäre. Das Frühstück, das optional hinzubuchbar ist, bereitet Veronique in ihrer gemütlichen Wohnküche zu und kann bei sonnigem Wetter auch auf ihrer Terrasse in einem wunderschönen Garten eingenommen werden. Das Frühstück ist köstlich und bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bei unserem nächsten Brüsselaufenthalt auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Das Frühstück war phantastisch, die hausgemachten Konfitüren eine Extraklasse! Die ruhige Lage war beeindruckend. Der herzliche Empfang und die Tipps machten diese Reise zu einem wunderbaren Erlebnis. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

We like everything in this place. The hostess is exceptionally hospitable. The rooms are decorated with thoughtful elegance, with an artistic and practical touch. This is also the main reason why we returned here.

Véronique est une personne charmante et très attentionnée avec ses hôtes. Le logement proposé est très confortable et très propre. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et les confitures faîtes maison délicieuses. Je recommande l'heure bleue.

Très bel endroit, décoré avec goût. Chambre d'hôtes très propre avec salle de bain individuelle et petit salon. A proximité du tram et du métro pour visiter Bruxelles. Véronique, notre hôtesse, est une personne adorable. Elle a vraiment pris soin de nous. Ses petits déjeuner sont délicieux en particulier sa marmelade d'orange au safran.

Véronique est une hotesse exceptionelle, avec grande empathie, qui anticipe les besoins des invités. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le lieu d'accueil, les bouteilles d'eau fraiche, la propreté et le sens esthétique de la résidence. Grâce à l'hotesse, notre séjour était merveilleux et si nous revenons dans la même ville, il est sûr qu'on fera une réservation à l'Heure Bleue.

I really enjoyed staying at L Heure Bleue. Veronique is extremely attentive and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. This includes accommodating tricky dietary requests for breakfast (which is amazing and way better than anything you can possibly get at a hotel) and offers to borrow an umbrella when it is raining. She even handed me a banana as I left each morning. The room is very comfortable, clean and a good temperature. There is lovely little library you can also make use of, which was perfect for me given I was on a work trip. It is in a great location- it was particularly good for my trip as I needed something close to the university. The transport links are also very good. Overall a million times better than any hotel and for a similar price.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit meh.

Our family were very welcomed and spent three nights comfortably. We won't forget the nice brunches in the shady garden, which sometimes provided us with full relaxation by many plants and flowers even in the hottest days. In addition, blue colored paintings in the wall the host collected was very insightful. Parking in front of house was fine, and tram station to go to Brussel was very close. I highly recommend to stay here if you are going to visit Brussel or Leuven area.

It was a privilege to stay at L'Heure Bleue. Veronique is a wonderful host and has done an amazing job in creating such a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight of the day and the gardens are stunning. We look forward to returning

Wat een mooie omgeving en wat een lieve gastvrouw. Dit is echt een aanrader! We hebben een heerlijk ontbijt gehad waarvan bijna alles uit de prachtige tuin homemade met liefde bereid was. Het uitzicht en slaapcomfort is ook geweldig.

Beautifully decorated appartement on the top floor, comfortabele bed and lovely bathroom. We had a wonderful breakfast in a lush garden, with lovely flowers, nice and secluded. Our hostess was very helpful and friendly

Although this is a very quiet part of Brussels, occasionally it was a bit noisy in the night. But even so we slept very well.

The owner was very welcoming. The facilities were very clean. The was a parking spot in front of the house.

It would be even better with a small fridge and a decent TV.

A beautiful home in a good neighbourhood, nearby tram and stores. On the top floor, a large study with Nespresso coffee machine and hot water kettle, a bedroom with a loft and a second bed, a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. A wonderful breakfast was optional for Euro 15.

Nothing to complain about!

Véronique is a lovely person, we had an excellent stay. It was great to have a separate sitting room. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is clean and nice. You can park your car in the driveway and take public transport into town. Or as we did: drive around the outskirts and then park at one of the many P&R’s.

With private parking and our dog allowed in the flat, our trip started off well. A complete floor with private bathroom, authentically decorated rooms and a very comfortable bed, an extremely friendly and accommodating host... And you must opt ​​for breakfast so that your day starts with a smile. Belgian cheeses, Belgian ham, Belgian speciality bread, roasted 'cramique' (a Belgian brioche loaf with raisins), homemade jam, freshly squeezed orange juice with a few drops of lemon: don't miss it!

Don't take it if you don't want to climb stairs.

We had the upstairs part of the house with a private bathroom. Very nicely decorated. Relaxing and quiet. The area is very nice and there is local city center with everything. About 40 minutes from Brussels Midi, or Central. This was an excellent choice for us!

The property was located near to relatives, and was easy to find. The breakfast was excellent, both in quality and variety. Our host was very friendly and helpful, and made us very welcome.

Fabulous rooms , homely , warm with everything you need ...... comfy bed , plenty of hot water , towels , hairdryer , kettle and Veroniques hospitality and breakfasts are excellent. Could not fault anything . Would definitely stay again should I return to Belgium.

The breakfast is superb. The staff is very friendly. The location is convenient to us: close to the airport and the family. Connections are easy with the city center.

The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. There was a living room where you can read and relax. The host Veronique is very caring and will answer all your questions and needs. Highly recommended!

our extremely welcoming lovely hostess makes a great breakfast with lokal products and homemade marmelades that are to die for. Can only recommend a stay. We want to come back in winter to try out a lovely dinner in front of the fireplace.

Excellent breakfast. Homemade breads, fresh fruit,beautiful selection of jams made by our lovely host Véronique. My friend lobed the variety on offer. Lots of choice and all beautiful presented. Our host went out of her way to make us feel at home.

The only issue for me was the mezzanine floor with the sloped ceiling....I'm tall so wouldn't have managed sleeping there. Thankfully, my friend who is not so tall used this space!

A wonderful place to come back to after an exciting day in Brussels. Half an hour's walk from Woluwe Mall. Also very good public transport communication. A quiet, calming and inspiring place with everything you need to feel at home. Very attentive, helpful and lovely hostess. I definitely recommend and we will definitely be back. I can't name a single reason that fits the question - what I didn't like. We lowed everything.

The Madame was so kind and helped us. The breakfast was so delicious in a chic atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable.

Space and private facilities inclining bedroom, family size bathroom and sitting room with desk to work from. Very nice home made breakfast with fresh ingredients. Lovely hostess, very helpful, off road, free parking.

The landlady waited for my late arrival. The apartment was cosy and close to the hospital that I was visiting. The area is nice with plenty of shops should one require such commodities.

Extremely kind and helpful owner who will do everything to make you feel comfortable. Located in a quiet area 30 mins from the European headquarters by public transport (one line, no changes needed). Perfect for lonely travelers or couples as they will have a full floor for their exclusive use.

It was just a fantastic and incredible stay in this house, everything was just like from Belgium-fairytale, house design, atmosphere... We had a great breakfast and heard classical music during it :) The connection to the city is perfect, it's 10 mins to the Metro station. And a perfect free parking place. I highly recommend choosing this house for your stay in Brussels. It was my best choice during my vacation this time :)

I came for several days of business to Brussels and was truly delighted to have found Veronique's gem. A wonderful place, elegant, cosy and quiet, located in a beautiful and relaxing setting. Very well connected to the center by tram or metro. Veronique is a fantastic host who makes you feel at home immediately, as well as a superb cook. I could not have found a better place and will make sure to come again.
