Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Sharron was a lovely , welcoming host. The breakfasts were very good .and it was lovely to have the choice of salmon, as well as the normal 'full breakfast'. Our room was lovely.......with an amazing top of the range rain shower! We had plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits laid out for us.
Sadly, we did find the bed a little uncomfortable. Maybe a firmer mattress?

The room was cosy with a comfy bed, a good shower and wifi. I'd seen good reviews about the breakfast and can confirm it was as good as I'd hoped. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Beautiful room, small but exactly what we booked for. Lovely hot and powerful show. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, we got to adapt and chose what we wanted. Friendly staff, we felt very welcome.
The B&B is in town but it is hilly to walk. Easy to drive around. Expensive for taxis to weddings close by, this is not the fault of the hotel just might be useful for other booking here. Can't fault the room and hotel staff.

Unfortunately the weather meant we were too hot in the room, air con or even a fan would have helped. There were windows that we had to open, but the noise from the traffic, particularly the trucks meant that we got little or no sleep. We had to check out a night early because of the traffic noise and heat.

The room fast on to a fast moving road the vehicles travelling past sounded as if they were going to come into the room. Due to the weather no fan or air conditioning. Showers was at one temperature which was hot. If staying for an event think twice as requested a taxi which was offered at over £100 for a 5 mile round trip.

Sharon and Nigel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, kindly allowing us to check in a little earlier so we could get ready before our wedding celebrations. Breakfast the following morning was lovely and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back!

Automated message asking when we are arriving wasn't very friendly/inviting. Dissapointed to not get a response after being asked when in the 4 hour window specifically when we expect to arrive. Their was no cold tap, both taps were hot water, no cool/cold setting on the shower, could either have hot or scalding. Other than the two minor points above, everything was great.

Reviewed May 24, 2026A warm welcome and a comfortable stay - we were attending a wedding nearby and Holly Tree was a perfect place to base ourselves. Breakfast was exceptional and the music selection was the best I've ever heard anywhere I've stayed!

Because I used their car park and dropped my things off earlier than the check in time even though I was going to put them in a friend's room who had booked for 2 nights I was charged an extra £10. No hand towels unless you are staying for more than 1 night.

We had a delicious veggie breakfast whilst listening to some lovely music that was the perfect start to our day. Ideal location very close to a wedding we had gone to. Huge thanks for accommodating us and offering the early check in and also for providing taxi numbers and advice 😊

The pillows although look fluffy and full, collapse on laying on them , makes for an uncomfortable sleep

We booked all of the rooms so the whole family could stay together whilst attending Bredenbury court barns for our son and daughter in law's wedding . Breakfast delicious, so much lovely food and drinks , cosy big beds , everything you would need and more , even set up an ironing board for us to get ready together .We also had drinks in our rooms and snacks , perfect. Will be staying again. Thank you so very much .
