We loved our stay here. The host was outstanding in her pre communications and check in process. The home is SPOTLESS and you can just tell that Kathleen cares and is on top of all the details, large and small. The breakfast was top notch and the service was outstanding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Everything lived up to or exceeded our expectation and match all of her great reviews. Also, location, location, location... is so perfect to city center and everything that this area offers. Thank you for a great stay!

Very comfortable bed and the best shower we have had in Ireland. Sitting rooms greatly appreciated and breakfast was excellent.

Unfortunately, our stay at Short Strand Dingle was very disappointing. The room had a strong musty, damp smell, with an unpleasant smell of mould and old furnishings. It was so strong that we had to sleep with the window open, despite the cold weather. The decor felt dated and lacking attention to detail. The shower was particularly bad: the water kept switching between hot and cold, most of the shower holes were blocked, and the remaining ones sprayed in different directions. Very little water came out, making it extremely difficult to shower. Even the shower rack for toiletries was rusty. Breakfast was very basic, and the omelette was completely tasteless. Overall, the room and facilities need significant improvement, especially considering how uncomfortable the stay was.

Breakfast was great! The staff was so friendly and the view was incredible.

Nice and cosy room on a beautiful and quiet place. The location itself is great, outside the city, but just a very short ride to Dingle town. The breakfast was lovely. Friendly owner. We enjoyed the stay very much.

The room was noisy, as I could hear more than I wanted whatever was happening in neighbouring bathroom or in the hallway. Overall quite a bit pricey, but I know, high-season and touristy place... Otherwise no complains whatsoever!

Short Strand Dingle is een B&B die we zeker aanraden. Het ontbijt was super, de kamer netjes verzorgd en schoon. De douche heerlijk. Fijn dat onze fietsen in het schuurtje konden staan. En heel aardig Kathleen dat je ons ‘s avonds met de auto naar Dingle bracht.

Eigenlijk alleen dat de accommodatie direct aan een 80 km weg ligt. Ver genoeg er vanaf met een mooie tuin voor het huis. Maar zonder auto niet ideaal om aan te reizen.

A localização é excelente! Lugar lindo, aconchegante, muito limpo e cuidado nos mínimos detalhes O café da manhã estava delicioso e a dona do local nos recebeu com muita gentileza e simpatia

We loved our stay here in Dingle. Just a short drive out of the town. Rooms were spacious, the house is very cosy and breakfast was lovely!!

It was very comfortable and our host, Kathleen, was charming. Our breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and it was good value.

The attention we received from Kathleen and Carmel was exceptional, they looked after our every need. Their breakfast choices and offererings were incredible. Could not recommend the Short Strand B&B enough, a superb location on the outskirts of Dingle ideal for small family getaways

Wunderschöne Aussicht, schöne Zimmer. Alles liebevoll eingerichtet.

Wir mussten als Familie mit kleinen Kindern sehr lange warten, bis wir frühstücken konnten und konnten dann nicht mal zusammen sitzen, sondern an zwel Tischen in entgegensetzen Ecken des Raumes. Das Frühstück, auf das wir uns sehr gefreut hatten, war dann auch nicht gerade viel. Möglicherweise hätten wir auch noch was bekommen, aber man gab uns schon sehr das Gefühl, dass man genervt von uns und den quengelnden (weil hungrigen und in einem Fall wieder müden ) Kindern ist, dass wir uns nicht getraut haben, zu fragen. Die Kleine war dann auch so fertig, dass wir das Frühstück abbrechen mussten und wieder abgereist sind.

The property is cosy and beautiful, and offers splendid views of the region. Rooms are nicely decorated, each in a unique, tasteful way. Kathleen, our host, has been very kind and welcoming. Quality and variety of breakfast is very good, better than the usual B&B standard. Very close to Dingle, less than 5km away. Free parking available on site. It's an excellent base for Slea Head trip. Dingle offers lots of excellent dining options and pubs with traditional Irish music.

This is an excellent B&B, we enjoyed it very much. The only thing you should be aware of, is that you need to drive to Dingle for restaurants and shopping. There is no place close and easily walkable.

La amabilidad de la dueña y el desayuno que es estupendo. Tienes para elegir varias opciones y las preparan al momento. El bagle de salmón y queso muy rico, fruta para elegir, frutos secos...

High quality beds and bedding! We slept so well, the room was so peaceful! Also delicious breakfast. The view from the house is stunning. You can get to Dingle's town centre in 3min by car. We loved our stay!

Wonderful stay--Kathleen was an excellent host. Fantastic home cooked breakfast, beautiful rooms. Responsive and kind always. My partner and I loved staying at the Short Strand.

Minor, but shower water pressure made a noise just loud enough to be a little annoying when washing up.

Si aveva una vista fantastica sulla campagna, un laghetto e colline circostanti. A tre minuti di auto dal centro di Dingle. Struttura bella da vedere, molto ben tenuta, camere spaziose, letti comodi, pulizia impeccabile, colazione ottima. Parcheggio gratuito.
