Helen was a super host, soo kind! The room is small but cozy and comfortable. Great for one night. The irish breakfast was delicious. As well as the fruit cake as night snack that she offered. Thanks Helen

This is my second time staying at Hill View. I love the warm welcome I receive from Helen and her breakfast in the morning. I will definitely be coming back.

The host was really sweet and kind, she made us a really nice traditional Irish breakfast in the morning. While we were leaving, we also got to meet her little puppy and cute cat.

Helen, the owner of the B&B was an absolutely treat and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We arrived quite late to the property but Helen had greeted us and prepared fresh apple pie, other baked goods and tea and coffee in the dining area. I can’t comment on the local pub as we went to bed after arriving. In the morning, Helen prepared a wonderful hot breakfast accompanied with tea, coffee, fruit, baked goods and yogurt. A wonderful experience with great hospitality by Helen at a fantastic cost. I highly recommend this B&B. To top it all off, we were wished well on our way by Helen’s sweet puppy!

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Man hat sich sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Lo mejor de todo, además del precio, fue la anfitriona, Helen. Hizo la estancia sumamente agradable. Cuando llegamos nos tenía preparada merienda. Y, por la mañana, nos preparó un riquísimo desayuno. Siempre atenta y muy cariñosa. La habitación estaba bien, limpia y con todo lo necesario. Por el precio, una experiencia más que satisfactoria.

Nos quedaba un poco alejado de Limerick, lo cual dificultó la visita a la ciudad. Pero, por lo demás, todo fantástico.

Helen was an amazing hostess, very friendly, she made us very welcome, greeted us with tea apple tart and made a great breakfast the following morning. Communication was easy and no problem finding the b&b. Comfy bed and room spotlessly clean, with great views over the surrounding countryside. The town of Silvermines is beautiful, well kept with plenty of flowers, there are very some nice walks around it and a pub for a bit of craic in the evening. Would definitely recommend and repeat. My wife and I had a lovely one night stopover with Helen and Pat at Hill view B&B, lovely people who made us so welcome, tea and cakes on arrival at no extra cost and a lovely hot breakfast in the morning aswell as a selection of fresh fruit and cereals. Altes B&B wie es wohl früher mal war. Gemeinschaftsraum und Parkplätze vorhanden. Ein sehr süßer und Ultra alter Hund lebt dort, der einem irgendwie leid tut, weil er draußen schlafen muss. Zimmer klein, aber alles was man für eine Nacht benötigt. Badezimmer ist Mini, sehr improvisiert aber passt. Es gibt morgens Irisches Frühstück zubereitet von der Gastgeberin die übrigens sehr nett ist. Das Essen ist vielleicht nicht für jeden etwas, aber es gibt ja auch noch Toast usw. zur Selbstbedienung. Jeden Tag gibt es wohl neuen Kuchen, frisch gebacken bei Anreise! Sehr süß wie die Gastgeber dieses B&B führen, sie versuchen den Charme alter Tage zu bewahren. WLAN OK, es war warm und Bett bequem. Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster ist wunderschön! Das B&B steht in einem sehr süßen Dorf. Man fühlt sich so als ob man hier schon leben würde! Für eine Nacht auf Durchreise vollkommen ok, sie haben tatsächlich aber auch Langzeit Gäste.

Wir hatten eine Uhrzeit zum Frühstück ausgemacht und als wir eine Minute länger als diese Frühstückszeit im Zimmer waren klopfte die Gastgeberin an unserer Tür. Bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber absolut nicht böswillig von ihr. Sie wollte nur sagen das das Frühstück fertig ist.

My husband and I had a lovely stay on the 6th of June, Helen was so friendly and cooked us a lovely breakfast on Sunday morning.

Everything was great

Helen was a fantastic host. Greeted on arrival with homemade apple pie, cake,biscuits, and a drink. Good suggestions for walks in the area, long or shorter ones. Good Irish breakfast. Friendly pub close by.

Helen was amazing overall. Just the sweetest woman. She was so kind and helped us with all our questions. She also made a wonderful breakfast and tart! The beds were very comfortable and clean. The home is on the older side, so it might not be to everyone’s taste, it was the perfect place for my sister and I to stay for 3 days. We were able to drive all over the west coast from the BnB. If I ever visit again I hope a spot is available during my visit. Highly recommend staying. Oh also they were great at responding online to messages, very fast.

In the center of Ireland, within 2 hours of everywhere. Friendly Hickeys Pub just down the street. Clean, comfortable and delicious breakfast. Driveway parking. Highly recommend

Amazing place to stay for the price, nice clean bed, parking space, very easy access and check-in, and Helen is an amazing host whom will feel you at home. Breakfast was very rich, full Irish breakfast sides with fruits, yoghurt and home made desserts and cakes. You cannot find a better place for the price if you need a calm cosy stay!

The hosts were fantastic. Very welcoming and accommodating to me. I can't remember being treated with such courtesy. Helen made a lovely breakfast for me in the morning.

Loved Helen and Pat’s cozy home in Silvermines. It was an older home with so much character and the room and bathroom had everything I needed as a solo traveler.

Helen and Pat were lovely and very welcoming. I felt like I was back home for an evening. The beds were super comfortable and the accommodation was very clean. Breakfast was also lovely, filling and I felt like a guest in someone’s home rather than a B&B. I’m glad I found this as I’m in Nenagh a lot each year, so it’s nice I have a place I can keep coming back to.

Just a lovely old fashioned BnB on my Cycleroute across Ireland. Welcomed with the offer of tea and Slice of nice fruitcake. Big room. En-suite, Fab view. No chinsy stuff or bad paintings in room. Cooked breakfast. Ireland is expensive but this was quite reasonable. Safe bike space.

The room was very comfortable and met my needs perfectly. The hosts are very kind. friendly, helpful, welcoming. The location was ideal with lovely walks nearby.

La increíble hospitalidad de Helen y Pat es insuperable, son unas personas adorables que te reciben con mucho cariño y afecto. Si quieres sentirte como en casa, este es tu lugar. Recomendado totalmente al 100%. Aparte de ello destacar que el desayuno es abundante y muy rico, yo me quedé encantado con la tarta de manzana que prepara Helen. If you're driving this b&b is worthwhile stopping at. The cost is very reasonable and it includes breakfast. Make sure to visit the pub close by. The people in the town are very interesting to talk to and a lot of fun. The owners are really very nice people and going out of their way to provide everything you need.

The host was wonderful! She was very nice, welcoming, and informative about the surrounding area. The host had homemade tarts and coffee set out for us when we arrived, which was great after a long drive. She made a wonderful Irish breakfast the next morning and had a variety of choices set out for us. The host was very gracious about accommodating dietary restrictions. Overall, it was a cute little place to stay for the night. I would definitely stay there again in the future! I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

The location is a bit remote; however, it's a great place to stay if you have a rental car. The drive to the nearest city, Limerick, isn't that far.

Very genuine people. Couldnt do enough for us. Home made apple tart and tea when we arrived and excellent breakfast. Rooms are very good en suite with comfortable beds..Would highly recommend. If only to meet some outstandingly nice people. The local scenery just enhances the experience.

Das B&B ist in einem kleinen Örtchen mitten in der Natur gelegen. Es ist klein, aber fein - vor allem, wenn man ein authentisches Irland-Erlebnis sucht. Helen, die Gastgeberin, ist so herzlich, liebevoll und am Wohl ihrer Gäste interessiert. Es gibt im Haus alles, was man braucht. Für den Preis bekommt man ein familiäres Flair & vor allem viel Ruhe. Wer auch weit weg von zu Hause einen Ort sucht, an dem er sich zu Hause fühlen kann, der ist hier genau richtig.

Die Anreise ist etwas umständlich, aber die Busfahrer sind alle sehr nett und helfen, wenn man mal nicht weiter weiß :-)

Very friendly hosts who were welcoming and made every effort to ensure my stay was great. Homemade apple pie on arrival was a very pleasant surprise. The breakfast was lovely, just what I asked for. The ensuite facilities were good with an excellent shower. The room was warm and the bed very comfortable. I would stay there in Silvermines again.

Hill View is an absolutely top class property. Pat and Helen are so friendly and accommodating and they make you feel right at home straightaway. There's a full kitchen to avail of including biscuits, fruit, sandwiches and apple tart. Everything in the room was perfect, great shower and comfortable bed with double duvets. The village itself is beautiful and well worth exploring, Pat and his friends have done a fantastic job maintaining the loop walk and surrounding area. Oh and the ham in the little shop is freshly cut in front of you and it's delicious!

Absolutely beautiful village and the property is located in such a peaceful spot with amazing views of the countryside. Easily accessible, comfortable bed, nice hot shower en suite and a wonderful cooked breakfast with all sorts of other treats. Sent on my travels with a nice slice of apple tart.

Lovely and quiet. Amazing host that genuinely cares that you are comfortable. A few extra details like apple pie, tea and coffee for breakfast were great. Nice fluffy cat and old golden retriever in the garden really gave this place a nice country home vibe.
