Superbe maison très spacieuse dans un quartier calme. Très belle chambre. Le propriétaire qui parle très bien anglais est très sympatique et aidant pour organiser des activités et la suite du voyage.

Clean room in a large house with a spacious en suite bathroom, located about a 10-minute taxi ride from the centre of Kandy in a quiet neighbourhood. The host is friendly and talkative, providing a good breakfast. There’s access to a washing machine, which is convenient. Overall, it’s a decent option.

Im Nachhinein haben wir es bedauert, nur eine Nacht dort gewesen zu sein. Pri ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist schön, geräumig und sauber. Zudem etwas abgelegen, sodass der Trubel der Innenstadt weit weg war. Hätten wir länger dort verbracht, hätten wir bestimmt noch längere Gespräche mit Ihm gehabt, aber auch so haben wir uns intensiv mit Ihm unterhalten. Er hat uns einen TukTuk Fahrer vermittelt, welcher uns durch Kandy und die Sehenswürdigkeiten gefahren hat, inklusive dem Besuch zweier Tempel und der Empfehlung zum Abendessen. Alles in Allem empfehlenswert, vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

De host was super. Hij regelde heel veel tegen zeer aantrekkelijke prijzen en ook het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Een echte aanrader om tot rust te komen

Pri was the perfect host. He organized for someone to pick us up at the bus stop and to show us around the following 2 days. The room was spacious and clean. And the shower was best we had in all of Sri Lanka. The breakfast was the perfect start and he offered coffee each morning. The place is a quick 7 minuit Tuk Tuk ride away from the city center in a very quiet and nice area which was a welcomed change in comparison to the buzzing center of Kandy. We will definitely come back next time we are in Sri Lanka!

Das Gebäude ist traumhaft, offen mit hohen Decken und vielen Fenstern! Pri hat uns jeden Tag mit leckerem Frühstück versorgt, kein klassisches Sri Lankesisches aber abwechslungsreich und sehr gut! Er organisierte uns auch verschiedene Touren. ein sehr angenehmer und diskreter Gastgeber mit dem man sich gerne unterhält!

Alloggio in una bella casa privata in stile vittoriano. Camera spaziosa, pulita e con tutto il necessario. Ottima colazione. Posizione defilata rispetto al centro di Kandy e, credetemi, è solo un bene per riuscire a godere di un pò di tranquillità. Qualità prezzo ottima. Valore aggiunto il proprietario, simpatico e disponibile, con cui è un piacere conversare sui più svariati argomenti, avendo lui avuto diverse esperienze in giro per il mondo. E' stato un immenso piacere soggiornarci.

La gentilezza di Pri è infinita. Ci ha aiutato e dato diverse tips per girare Kandy e abbiamo deciso di fermarci una notte in più! La colazione che ti prepara è buonissima, tipica e varia di giorno in giorno. Il bagno ha anche il bidet (cosa molto strana all’estero) La camera è pulita e spaziosa e la casa è molto accogliente. La posizione è più defilata rispetto al centro e al traffico ma ne vale la pena allontanarsi di più e stare in un’oasi di tranquillità. Wi-Fi ottimo.

Estuvimos muy a gusto en el Homestay. La cama muy cómoda, la ducha la mejor que hemos encontrado en nuestro viaje por Sri Lanka. El desayuno también el mejor que hemos probado por el momento. El anfitrión muy atento todo el rato con nosotros y a nuestras necesidades. Nos hizo una laundry totalmente gratis y atendió una petición especial que le pedimos para el desayuno (repitió algo que nos encantó el día anterior :p). Muy agradecidos y contentos! Lo recomendamos.

Very very very cool place! Very friendly owner, with a great sense of humor, who is ready to help with everything you need! He helped us with a tuk-tuk, made wonderful breakfasts and was always in touch! The apartment itself is very cozy, you feel at home. I recommend!

We really enjoyed the comfy bed, great air conditioning, amazing shower, and the tasty breakfast — those were definite highlights.

A few things we didn’t love: there was no QR code or clear instructions for the Wi-Fi, so we couldn’t use it. The room doesn’t have a private entrance — you need the host to open the gate and door for you, which felt a bit inconvenient. The towels were very rough. Also, I received a few messages from the host after our stay that I found a bit unprofessional.

Room was clean & spotless, spacious and comfortable enough for a night stay. Pri is such a great host, always interested in having conversation with guest and provide recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. The house is located around 10 mins away from city centre in a peaceful neighbourhood but it is up a steep road. But it doesn’t matter to us as we had a driver with us.

Lovely homestay with comfortable beds and Aircon. Best shower in Sri Lanka :) Lovely breakfast too. We recommend.

Pri is a great host and really interested in his guests. His house is located a bit out of the center and some tuktuks refused to go there, but in the end I always found a driver. The room and bathroom are really big and you get a good breakfast in the morning.

The host was perfect, he gave us all the informacion, he also bought coffe we likedbat the breakfast and arranged us laundry for verry good price. He prepared the breakfast, wich was over our expectations. Delicios. Thank you!

Great specious room. Amazing host. The host is very polite, helpful and an amazing cook! The breakfaat alone should cost $10/day.

The room was spacious and modern with a comfortable bed, a new AC unit and big windows. The attached bathroom was probably the best bathroom of our entire stay in Sri Lanka with a large shower. Everything was very clean. We even had a mini fridge in the room and could use the washing machine. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits and a different dish every morning. Pri was a generous host who provided everything and was always happy to have a conversation.

Pri is a great host, very helpful, welcoming and always up for a chat. He will take good care of you. The house is very beautiful, with a comfortable & clean room and bathroom with a good & warm shower. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! If it wasn’t for the bad weather, we would have loved to stay longer.

The location of the homestay is a bit out of the (busy) center, which we liked, but is not always easy to find for the tuktuk drivers. Best is to give Pri’s phone number to them and he will help you get there 😊

The rooms were very spacious. There was air conditioning and hot water. The host was really lovely and prepared a delicious sri lankan breakfast. The host also helped to arrange for accommodation for my driver.

The road to the hotel was a bit steep and we came in a big van so we had to park at the bottom and walk up. But smaller vehicles should be fine. Apart from that, everything was great.

Loved this place! I was only there for a few hours because my flight was delayed, but the host Pri was so lovely and let me check in at 2:00am -- not only did he wake up to come let me in, but he stayed up to chat and have a drink together! The room was super comfy and spacious, great value. The bathroom was clean and the shower had plentiful hot water, which I was grateful for. Bed was comfy and wifi works super well. In the morning, Pri made an incredible breakfast with the best omelette I've ever had and an incredible fruit selection! He's such a good cook, you're in for a treat. The whole experience was lovely, and Pri texted me several times in the days following my check out to make sure that I made it to my next destination safely. Wish I had stayed longer!

Pri is a great, nice, friendly, talkative and interesting person. We really enjoyed our stay at his place, not only because of his cooking skills (best meals at Sri Lanka), clean rooms but also for our conversations about this country. He offers a wonderful, clean and cozy place. We can't forget to mention the strong stream of water in the bathroom (kinda exceptional in SL).

If you don't need, don't go on the other side of the bridge. Everything else was perfect.

Pri was an amazing owner! We had a dinner all 3 together, talked for few hours and he is really interesting person! Location is very nice, calm and private. There is a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and everything that might be needed. The shower has a good water pressure (mostly in Sri Lanka it does not) and hot water. The room is spacious, pilllows and bed is comfortable, there is a mini fridge as well.

Superb breakfast. Best I ever had. Amazing host who loves to indulge you and helped us in planning our trip. Clean, beautiful and spacious property.

The tastiest breakfasts ever! I loved the diversity of the dishes as well. And it's included in the price for a living! And I loved the hospitality of the host, Pri. He is very friendly, polite and funny. Also, he helped me with booking a tuk tuk when I needed one, and told me how to get to all the places I wanted to visit during the stay. The house and rooms are very clean and modern. The location is the perfect - the views are amazing, the neighbourhood is quiet and all the supermarkets are just 5-10 minutes away if you're driving, and 15-20 minutes if you're walking. And the price is very budget friendly!

The spacious rooms with clean and modern furniture makes it very appealing and comfortable. The owner Mr. priyankara was super accommodative and helpful. The bathrooms are clean, has modern fittings with right amount of water pressure to enjoy a bath... It's located 5 mins away from the katugosthota town which is very convenient. A good place to stay over or rent out the entire place with your family.
