Coliemore Acommodation Dalkey

I love the location. It can’t be big In Dalkey village. Also it was extremely clean. I just couldn’t really get the air conditioner to work properly. But it was adequate enough. I don’t have enough nice things to say about the space. It’s very basic but incredibly clean and the help is delightful.

It could’ve had a closet, but the bathroom was so huge that we stored our luggage in there. They could literally build a closet in there no problem.

Centrally located. Easy to access. Quiet. Big room. Lots of space. Bed was very comfortable.

A desk and chair would be a perfect addition.

Mycket bra läge, nära till allt. Bra frukost och även annan mat. Bra service och trevlig personal. Bra med vattenkokare för kaffe och te på rummet om man vaknar tidigt innan baren öppnar.

Saknade någon plats att placera resväskan på, för att slippa ha den på golvet.

Great family room, very helpful staff in the pub. Room was comfy and clean. Excellent location in Dalkey village so walkable to restaurant, shops, DART train station and the sea!

Only 2 parking spots for 4 rooms however, so a parking place is not guaranteed.

Sehr zentral aber ruhig gelegen. Schlicht aber modern ausgestattet. Sehr sauber.

L'emplacement est top, à deux pas du train DART qui dessert Dublin. Le pub juste à côté est super. Le logement est calme malgré le pub environnant.

Le prix est élevé, mais il est dans la norme de ce qui se fait ailleurs. Pas de petit espace pour manger.

Great location in Dalkey, parking just right outside the room. Kettle, tea and coffee provided, clean and well furnished room, comfy beds, very helpful staff.

No sockets with USB outlets, unfortunately. We didn't have an adapter, so USB charging option would have been great. We also struggled to open the shower door, which, turns out, was held by a very strong magnet. Luckily, a very helpful gentleman came over to show us how to open the door.

Great location near the train station and the high street. There was a small shelf at the foot of the bed which was a risk of hitting your shin on. Other wise great and had air conditioning

Right in the heart of the cute little Dublin seaside suburb. Easy checkin, clean, quiet. The pub next door is great and serves the best breakfast in Dalkey.

Didn’t realize that I had to drop off the key with early check out until I read a small sign on the back of the door

Accommodations were good - just needs a fan in room and or bathroom. A little stuffy.

Spacious and very conveniently located

No wardrobe to hang clothes..might manage if staying for one night but should be a feature in any accommodation at any price. No hairdryer for instance.Manager(who was very helpful in check in process btw)said it was most likely taken by a previous guest but if that's the case a fixed appliance would solve that issue..Also,shower door took an age to open..there was some glue like/sealer substance along the frame if the shower..

Pub ums Eck. Alle Leute sehr freundlich. Dalkey Quarry in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Very good location and nice rooms. Staff were lovely.

Nothing just the parking was so difficult. We spent 40 minutes driving around to find some where but we didn't realise that it was bank holiday weekend so that might have been the reason but also all the parking seems to only allow upto 3 hours so just lucky we got there late enough for this to then take us into the next day and we're leaving just after checkout

Pricey for a room with no fridge ,walls were thin, check-in after 3 and checkout before 12 ( seemed very short ) . Didn't love leaving my bags in the pub either .

Great location right in the centre of Dalkey. Lovely staff and the pub had great live music on on the Saturday.

The room just needed a little move round. The bedside drawers were in the wrong place which made the bed hard to get round on one side. The bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied from previous guests. The toilet brush was loose and very rusty.

Superb location in Dalkey centre. Very comfortable beds. Quiet at night as rooms are a house behind the pub. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great. menu including really good coffee. Thank you!

Jimmy and the whole Coliemore staff were delightful. It felt like we knew the staff for years & they were so authentic - really appreciated all their recommendations on what to see during our stay, what food we’d like best & how to stay safe in Dublin when we were sightseeing. The location was perfect & I recommend this as a fantastic place to stay if you want a legit village experience. Apparently, per Jimmy & his team, there are some serious celebs that either come to town or have homes in Dalkey. So we were READY to try to not act bananas when we caught a glimpse. Sadly, this was the only disappointment of our time in Dalkey. Next time! And there definitely will be a next time cuz the Coliemore was a highlight of our trip!

Oh just one tiny thing - the scent thingy in the room was really strong so we unplugged ours. There was no bad or stale smell that we thought it might be trying to cover up though - there was nothing - and the scent was just a little strong to my liking.

Great location to town, friendly enough staff at the pub next store where collect the keys. Rooms were small and plain, but comfortable and reasonably priced for the overpriced Dalkey accommodation choices.

Our room had a TV but no remote (im sure all i needed to do was ask, but did not notice till after the night out).

Das Zimmer war zwar geräumig, es gab aber weder einen Schrank auch kein Regal um Kleidung unterzubringen! Es gab keinen Tisch, nur einen Sessel und anfangs wusste auch niemand wo der Föhn war. Einzig das housekeeping gab mir irgendwann einen. Dort wird das Nebengebäude vom Pub offensichtlich genutzt um zusätzlich Einkünfte zu erzielen!

Kein Schrank kein Regal, nur ein Sessel keine Löffel um den Kaffee umrühren zu können!

Unit is advertised as a Bed & Breakfast, however breakfast was not provided, but available for purchase at the pub, next door

The toilet seat was loose and didnt fit properly. The shower didn't drain properly. No closet space . The room was not ready on arrival

Overall, a perfectly fine experience, marred somewhat by one tiny issue: the bulb in the bedside light was SO bright (and that very annoying LED-blue type light) that it turned the generally nice room into something like an operating theatre! Change that, and all is lovely....

An absolute gem of a property, spotlessly clean , huge bathroom and bedroom , tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water supplied . Beautiful white bedding and extremely comfortable mattress. Key pick up from The Coliemore pub next door to property . Staff in pub were so friendly and helpful. Also had a great chat with the owner who was a lovely man . Will definitely return. Photos do not do the property justice .

Centre of Dalkey , close to Dart station. Clean , perfectly functional for base . Large bathroom. Comfy bed. No wardrobe which wasnt an issue as it was a one night stay. No frills , but none required .

Nice hot powerful showers. Central location. Very clean and safe. Good hair dryer. Barry’s tea and kettle in the room. Manager of the hotel and pub were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful.

The radiators in the room and the bathroom did not work for the whole stay even though we tried turning the knobs. The television only had on channel that worked.

The staff at the Coliemore are exceptional. Dalkey may be a small town but the people have the biggest hearts. Jimmy took care of us during our 6 day stay and the live music was great. Even a surprise ukulele practice session was wonderful. Food we think was superb. Already planning a return trip to the Coliemore and Dalkey! I have a new favourite drink Ginger Beer with bitters, love it!

Never did figure out the heated towel rack and kept forgetting to ask so that's my fault.

ottima posizione, vicino alla stazione del treno e ai negozi. molto confortevole la camera, e il grande bagno. e' di fianco al pub, dove si mangia oltretutto benissimo. non ha vista dalla finestra, ma ha ottima illuminazione interna per leggere

The seafood chowder with Guinness bread was delicious. The location was fabulous and the room itself was fine. Newer shower.

The big problem was the sink. It was clogged, dirty stuff kept coming up and it filled with water when I brushed my teeth. Gross. Took 15 minutes to drain. Also there were hairs in the bathroom and the carpet was really dirty. And toilet paper not replaced ( arrived to half a roll) The sheets were cheap polyester, uncomfortable. The frustration was that I emailed the accommodation right away about this and asked them to come clean and fix, but They ignored the message and no one came or addressed it. I was there three nights. This seems wrong for 600 Euros.

Lots of room, big shower room with comfy bed and nice bedding. Despite being next door to the lively pub, the room was very quiet. The pub was very busy - it was a Saturday, but the staff were very friendly and the live music made for a great evening. I would definitely recommend it.

There was a crack in the sink, but no leak!
