Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Oh my gosh the bed was lovely, like a massive hug all night. I slept like a stick! I would definetly stay there again. Had a busy day the next day and alot of klms to get under my belt so didnt manage to stop for breakfast.
Hey the place was amazing, only issue i had was turning the motorcycle round on the chippings. But thats a me problem not the host issue.

J'ai tout aimé dans cette maison , ma chambre spacieuse avec salle de bain a coté, la possibilité de garer ma moto en toute sécurité et un superbe petit déjeuner dans l'immense salle a manger vue sur la mer. Merci beaucoup d'avoir contribué a rendre mon séjour en Irlande agréable.

The place was empty when we arrived at the reasonable time of 18.30. The water supply failed in the morning (not the owner’s fault), so showering was not possible. Also, the standard of the breakfast was poor.

Het ontbijt was vrij eenvoudig, maar was ok. Geen echte koffie, enkel oploskoffie. Geen vers fruit, enkel fruit uit blik. Ook fruitsap was niet vers geperst wat spijtig is. Voorverpakte boter, voorverpakte confituur. Geen Irish breakfast of eitjes, enkel ham, kaas, confituur, yoghurt en ontbijtgranen.

The hosts were not very welcoming. We had to leave early before the time for breakfast. They could not accomodate us with anything to take away.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Perfect location for the ferry. Couldn't get the continental breakfast because it's only served at 8am and our ferry was at 8.15am but that's ok. For the price, it was comfortable and served the purpose for us to get the ferry the next morning. The owner allowed us to park our motorbike near his garage (on the private side of the house) so that was very nice of him.
There is actually no ocean view. The private side of this guest house is facing the ocean which is fair enough. You can still see the ocean while standing on their drive.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Peter und Marie sind sehr freundlich, das Zimmer ist sauber, das Bett bequem. Es gibt jederzeit Wasser, Tee und Kaffee Die Atmosphäre ist sehr persönlich. Beim Frühstück sitzen alle Gäste an einem Tisch und mit etwas Glück hat man nette Gespräche.
Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr sauber.

Die Bilder suggerieren einen Aufenthalsbereich im Haus, der aber nicht angeboten wurde.

Ohne Auto ist es etwas schwerer zu erreichen, aber der Ausblick ist dafür dann umso schöner.

Our hostess was not very warm and friendly. Didn't welcome us or introduce herself. Breakfast was continental and very basic. Muesli, weetabix or cornflakes. Apples, bananas and youghert. Some tinned peaches in a bowl. Then some tea, coffee, toast and jams. Ate in the hosts kitchen, no separate dining room. The host was a bit more friendly and chatty at breakfast. There was no tea making facilities in room. An electric kettle with some tea, coffee and pods of milk available in hall.
