Il letto ampio e comodo, la colazione eccezionale, molto attenti anche a problematiche alimentari. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati dalla padrona di casa, tutto perfetto!

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Tutto assolutamente perfetto, grazie alla signora Marie per la calorosa accoglienza e a suo marito per l'ottima colazione (anche vegetariana!). La struttura è carinissima e accogliente, la camera era semplicr ma abbastanza ampia, silenziosa, pulita, con coperte extra e bollitore con tè e caffè. Asciugamani morbidi per la doccia (con un apprezzato sistema per non sprecare acqua) e phon per capelli disponibile. Letto super comodo! Anche la posizione è risultata perfetta, a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Achill (e da pub/ristoranti e dal supermercato). È stato un vero piacere e se dovessimo tornare in zona di certo prenoteremmo ancora qui.

Le manque de choix pour dîner sur Achill Sound mais les villes environnantes compensent.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Hy Breasal was perfect for us. Very close to the island's shops, restaurants, and bus service but off the main road, so very quiet. And our hostess was so very helpful, including providing us a spot to re-charge our e-bikes. The breakfasts are hearty with generous servings of everything and lots of choice. We'll definitely visit again if we are able.

We also had a lovely breakfast, and the price was very reasonable. Marie was an excellent host—very welcoming and helpful, and she gave us great recommendations and guidance on places to visit and eat. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again if we’re in the area. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Hy Breasal war sehr einfach zu finden und liegt sehr ruhig. Die Inhaberin Marie war sehr herzlich und fürsorglich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gross und zusätzlich konnte alles Mögliche bestellt werden (Irish breakfast, Spiegeleier,etc…). Das Zimmer war einfach und funktional eingerichtet und alles sehr sauber.

Les chambres sont simples et spacieuses avec tout le nécessaire et les petites attentions qui vont bien. Nous vous recommandons cet hébergement pour découvrir cette île magnifiques et ses habitants chaleureux.

Il posto è strategico e accogliente, la colazione pazzesca (ma solo salata). Qualità / prezzo onestamente imbattibile.
Bagno non pulitissimo (ma niente di grave), lenzuola un po' mediocri, la mattina ci si sveglia con l'odore di salsiccia e uova in camera.

Hy Breasal was located centrally , peaceful and that great breakfast mentioned in previous reviews is a true story . The room was very comfortable . Price was reasonable . I had accidently booked the wrong month (Still don't know how) and I requested a swap with 24 hours notice of the wrong booking which was approved and no additional cost. Only a short walk to town to the local pub / places to eat. The breakfast was very tasty. Would highly recommend staying at Hy Breasal.
