Drumlanaught Cottage Farnham

If I could give more stars, I would! Bridie and Mary were so kind and helpful and made us feel right at home. We travelled for golf, and there are plenty of great courses nearby. A perfect place to stay—we’ll definitely be back!

The hosts Bridie and Mary made our stay special. We felt very much at home and appreciated their attentiveness to our comfort.

You couldn’t find a more perfect Irish B&b, Mary and Bridie couldn’t have been more welcoming. Really clean and homely, lovely quiet spot and they even cooked us breakfast without it being included in the price. I can recommend this place highly enough for a stay in Cavan.

Bridie met us and made us tea as soon as we arrived. It's a beautiful cottage with use of the kitchen and sitting room and even though breakfast wasn't supposed to be included she made us scrambled eggs and there were lots of cereals.

Location is perfect set in the fabulous countryside, 5 minute drive from Farnham estate with clean and spacious rooms finished to a fabulous standard.

A lovely home in beautiful surroundings. Bridie and Mary are natural hosts who are very warm and kind. The house is spotlessly clean throughout and there is use of a full kitchen if guests want to bring their own food and prepare meals. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility and would thoroughly recommend Drumlanaught Cottage.

Very cosy, warm, clean and quiet. Host is very welcoming and hospitable.

Location is slightly away from the town but well within a short drive.

The property is on an unused farm, very quiet and not far off the main Cavan road. Building spotless, shower hot 😊, a kitchen you can use at your convenience with a selection of cereals, tea, coffee, bread and eggs with a communal living room. I found this property very unique as it offers so much independence with regards facilities and also provides all needed for a continental breakfast. Great value and host very friendly.

I loved the friendliness of this stay. So cosy and so welcoming. Bridie and her twin sister are such beautiful people. They were so accommodating to me and my friend!

Bridie cooked the most beautiful scrambled eggs free range toast and a lovely cup of tea in a decent mug. We had a lovely chat with both herself and Mary. Fantastic hosts. Bridie dropped us to Farnham estate to attend a wedding.

Bridie is such a Lady, greeted with a very warm welcome and a lovely cuppa tea We were attending a wedding not far from the Cottage and Bridie kindly took us over to it! Would highly recommend to stay here.. 10/10

We had a fabulous time with Bridie and Mary. No sooner were we in the door and we were offered tea and parked ourselves in front of the fire with a selection of chocolates. It really was a home away from home. Bridie and Mary went over and above to ensure we had a great stay. The location is ideal for anyone attending an event in Farnham Estate or the surrounding areas. We would 100% recommend and will hopefully be back at some point!

We were attending a wedding in Farnham Estate which was 5 minutes down the road. This was the perfect location and Bridie was a lovely host. We were welcomed with a warm cup of tea & biscuits. Our room was perfect for our short stay and the cottage was very clean and tidy. We would definitely stay again.
