Fijne kamer met prima bedden, super ontbijt en gezellige gastenkamer.

Kamer was op de begane grond dus bij bezetting bovenkamer wel wat geluid hoorbaar.

Wirklich sehr gutes Frühstück, eine freundliche Gastgeberin und im Zimmer gab's Puschen!

The owner, who was very friendly, made a delicious breakfast, all fresh and real (no cheating with ready made food), neatly presented and very diverse, fresh and with local ingredients.. Nice room, I liked no TV in it, but it was in a large club area with sofas and fridge with drinks..

Pictures don't do this charming spot justice. Ideally located in a sublime part of southern Sweden, Mellby is super beautiful, and feels both ancient and current. Your hosts couldn't be more charming and helpful, the rooms more cozy, or the breakfast more delicious.

Alles. Frühstück, Zimmer, Ort, Gastgeber, Sauberkeit. Jedes Detail stimmte. Selbstgemachtes Brot, Standard UND glutenfrei. Unglaublich. Danke für einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Helt fantastisk liten gård på ängarna utanför Kivik. Hemtrevligt och franskt. Fullt av inspiration! Å en frukost gjord med kärlek. Åk hit om ni kan!

The property is very charming and well-located. We enjoyed our stay very much, the beds are extremely comfortable. I had the best sleep in Sweden. The breakfast is amazing with many delicious options. The owner and her family are very sweet, caring and attentive. I hope to come back soon.

Läget och omgivningarna var mycket vackra och fridfulla. Frukosten toppen!

Dieser Ort hat eine ruhige und gediegene Ausstrahlung, perfekt für einen romantischen Abend bei einem Glas Cidre. Ich war allerdings mit 2 Grundschulkindern dort (im Haus). Was sie am tollsten fanden - ungefähr so teile ich die Meinung: 1. Cathrin (Host), 2. ihre Pfannkuchen, 3. mega bequeme Betten auf gleichem Platz mit dem Strand in Haväng (dabei ist das ein phantastischer Strand!) 4. Spaziergänge in der Nähe vom Haus. Vielen Dank!

Allt va tipptopp med allt från storleken på rummet, den lugna atmosfären till trevlig personal. Pricken över i’et var att det fanns kaffe att hämta hela dagen/kvällen!

Underbar omgivning med öppna fält. Mysig innergård och fina och stora rum. Fukosten var mycket god med bl.a. hembakta bröd, äppeljuice och pannkakor. Vi kommer definitivt att komma tillbaka.

Otroligt skön säng, bra kuddar och utmärkt frukost! Så fina omgivningar och fin promenad till Kivik om en vill äta på tryffelsvinet eller buhres. Trevlig personal mkt lugnt och vackert.

Att det tog lång tid för att det skulle bli varmvatten i duschen och att det låg ett par använda linser vid nattduksbordet (kändes i övrigt städat o rent).

The breakfast was amazing; it was perfeclty prepared and with everything you could wish for. Homemade bread, panncakes, smoothies, fruitcompot and jam. Lovely places to sit inside or outside. The location is amazing as well; so calm, but still close to Kivik if you want to go there. The rooms were so beautifully decorated and even more nice than on the pictures. We stayed in Escapet and it was lovely, with a huge bathroom. The host couple were very welcoming and helpful at all the time. Everything was so clean and stylish and I would love to come back and visit again! You could also rent bikes from a company that came and delivered the bikes for you which was very convenient.

Fantastisk frukost

Vissa platser stannar kvar i hjärtat. Mellby Atelier är en sådan plats. Från det ögonblick vi kom kändes det som att tiden saktade ner. Här möts man av en atmosfär som gör att man känner sig hemma direkt. Varje detalj är genomtänkt och skapad med kärlek. En plats där lugnet infinner sig, där man njuter lite mer av varje ögonblick. Det är inte bara ett boende – det är en upplevelse. Frukosten var helt fantastisk. Och pannkakorna… de var helt magiska! Det är pannkakor att leva för. Läget är dessutom perfekt för att upptäcka Österlen, och efter en dag med utflykter var det underbart att komma tillbaka hit och bara njuta av den rofyllda atmosfären. Tack för ett fantastiskt värdskap och en vistelse som överträffade våra förväntningar. Vi har nu hjärtat fullt av fina minnen.

Staff were happy to give recommendations during our stay and showed genuine interest in our travel plans. Breakfast was lovely and clearly communicated. The room was comfortable. No TV in our room but we didn’t consider that a negative.

Simply an amazing place – the true feeling of Österlen. The location is perfect, surrounded by open fields yet just a short distance from Kivik and the seaside. Our room was spacious, bright, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Even the bed linens smelled wonderfully fresh. And then there was the breakfast – absolutely incredible! Freshly baked sourdough bread and pancakes, delicious seafood from a local fish shop by the sea, fresh eggs from a neighboring farm, berries, and homemade smoothies. We truly felt spoiled. And of course, beautiful art was all around us, making this an inspiring place to enjoy and appreciate it. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hosts for their warm hospitality. We highly recommend this accommodation – it is a true Österlen gem.

Superfint läge på Österlen. Lugnt och skönt. Vi hyrde hela boendet då vi var en grupp om 13 personer. Vi firade att en av oss skulle gifta sig med en helg fylld av god mat och dryck! Vi lagade maten själva i lägenheten som finns. Den är väl utrustad men några saker fick vi låna från det större köket. Ägarna till Mellby Atelier var mycket hjälpsamma och tillmötesgående både innan vår vistelse och under helgen. Det blev en toppenhelg!

The most beautiful location, with lovely designed interiors, super comfy beds, and a splendid breakfast. The host was very responsive and kindly arranged for a birthday sweet for my husband.

Das ganze Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet - neben den Zimmern auch die großzügigen Aufenthaltsräume und der Innenhof! Cathrin ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin (und Bäckerin!). Besonders gefreut hat uns nachmittags die Einladung zu Kaffee und Kuchen, was sogar noch bereit stand, wenn wir erst um 17.30 Uhr vom Ausflug zurück kamen…

Fantastisk personal, glada, vänliga och omtänksamma. Utsökt och ombonad inredning i vacker klassisk skånegård. Stort, bekvämt rum och stort badrum. Delikat frukost med stort utbud av lokala produkter och mycket hemlagat.

Litet för långt avstånd till Kiviks centrum för att bekvämt promenera dit ner.

Vi blev så fint mottagna av värdparet som driver detta underbara bnb. Frukost och eftermiddagskaffe serverades med ekologiska och närproducerade varor (och pannkakor gjorda med kärlek). Hela miljön och alla detaljer var utsökta! Vi återvänder mer än gärna!

Absolut ruhige Lage ein wenig außerhalb von Kivik, mit einer großartige Möglichkeit Abend zu essen in ca.10 Minuten zu Fuß, der Name spricht für sich:“Frieden“, in mitten von Apfelplantagen ein Paar das sein Lebensmotto in einer Pizzeria verwirklicht hat. Die Unterkunft selbst: Besser geht es wohl nicht! Ich bin sehr sparsam mit derartigen Komplimenten, in diesem Fall ist es mir aber ein echtes Bedürfnis! Die Zimmer sind perfekt eingerichtet, die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Betten vielleicht ein wenig weich, aber das Frühstück ist wirklich phänomenal! Wirklich Schade, dass wir nicht mindestens 2 Stunden mehr Zeit hatten um alles zu probieren!

A fabulous stay at a gem of a place. A warm welcome from the hosts, Cathrin and David. Great attention to detail, comfortable rooms and beyond sumptuous breakfasts. David booked us in for dinner at the nearby delicious Friden's pizza restaurant. And then went above and beyond, by dropping us at the bus stop on our departure. Highly recommend.

Lovely place, very accommodating hosts. We booked the whole place with our friends, and we all loved it. Especially the beautiful garden.

The room was a little chilly, but there were extra blankets to compensate.

This is a true gem, within a beautiful region. The home is absolutely immaculate, full of character and charm, the breakfast was outstanding, the beds were perfect, we slept amazingly. We visited over Easter, and in the morning I sat and watched the mist roll over the countryside and deer emerge from the mist into the garden, it was like a dreamscape.

Nice and friendly place close by our destination. The hosts were very friendly and we had a good nights sleep and woke up to a beautiful view over the fields on a sunny day. Then we had an excellent breakfast. The shower was very good and everything new and clean.

The bed was a little bit soft so it took a while to fall asleep - nothing else - everything else was excellent. We liked the place very much and will recommend it to other people.

Mellby Atelier is s wonderful gem in Österlen. The atmosphere is amazing, with beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. The place is overall very stylish yet cosy. The hosts were absolutely amazing and the breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had. We can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!!
