Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastfamilie. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich mit einer schönen Garten-Aussicht.

Stefan est un hôte parfait, il vous fait sentir encore mieux que chez vous et, avec sa femme, il vous accueille avec une gentillesse et une attention qui sont rares de nos jours. La chambre était très confortable, joliment décorée, le petit déjeuner était royal et la présence des hiboux et des chouettes un plus, pas du tout négligeable. Leur présence rend le lieu encore plus unique. Un endroit où on reviendra sûrement!

Wij hadden de tuinkamer. Daar konden we ook graag ruik maken van de sauna en jacuzi De kamer was zeer ruim met kitchenette, magnetron etc. De badkamer was super. Ruim met dan voldoende handdoeken en balspelen. Ontbijt was perfect. De e htpaar was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij aankomst meteen een kop koffie en uitleg. Wij komen hier zeker terug!!!!

It was a stroke of good fortune that I found this haven, a warm and restful place to recharge while travelling. I very much enjoyed my stay here, in the picturesque region of Bilzen-Hoeselt. The accommodation itself was super comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and what’s more, you couldn’t ask for a better host. I arrived early - and was still given access to my room. Cushioned to perfection, I slept like “royalty.” And to crown it all—the breakfast selection was impressive and satisfying—as one would expect for a noble experience.

De omvang van de kamer en de faciliteiten (sauna, extra badkamer, tuin) overtroffen ruim onze verwachtingen. De gastfamilie is ontzettend vriendelijk en alles is goed verzorgd.

Everything was perfect

Wij zijn terecht gekomen bij twee warme mensen die ons behandeld hebben als Prinsen en Prinsessen.De kamers alles erop en er aan. het ontbijt top met zoveel vers fruit. En we mochten zelfs broodjes meedoen voor picknick bij het fietsen .Savonds kunnen genieten van de jacuzzi. De beestjes die daar ook zo een prachtige thuis hebben. Na al die jaren al in verschillende B&b,s geweest te zijn was dit in alles op het hoogste niveau. Daar word je zenn. Daar leer je weer wat vriendschap is. Bedankt Stefan en liesbeth dat wij door jullie zo een prachtige fietsvakantie hadden.

Sono già stato in questo B&B e mi sono trovato di nuovo super bene, Stefan, il proprietario, è una persona gentilissima e simpatica, sempre disponibile. La camera era la stessa della volta precedente, non grandissima ma non è importante perchè c'è tutto, anche macchina per il caffè., bollitore, acqua minerale gratuita, piccoli snack. Ho finalmente potuto passare qualche tempo nel giardino sul retro, spero di poterlo usare di più la prossima volta. La colazione è abbondante e ricca, c'è di tutto, e Stefan prepara uova e pancetta freschi al momento. Il B&B è poco distante dal centro, ma sufficientemente isolato per poter dormire tranquilli. Rapporto qualità prezzo più che ottimo. Tutto eccezionale!!!

Perfecte gastheer met heerlijke biertje bij aankomst in een gezellige veranda aansluitend aan een tuin met zwemvijver, jacuzzi en een bonte verzameling uilen. Heerlijk ontbijt met lekker veel yoghurt.

alles!!! zeker de tuin met vijver, was mooi aangelegd! aangename gastheer(valkenier)! hij gaf ook bijkomende informatie over uitstappen en wandelingen in de buurt! Gratis gebruik van koffie en thee op de kamer! geweldig ontbijt! zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!

de vriendelijke gastheer moest ons even telefonisch wegwijs maken omdat er werkzaamheden in de buurt waren die 'tom tom' niet erkende! dit oponthoud had misschien kunnen vermeden worden door een mailtje vooraf!

Een warm welkom, ongedwongen sfeer, men voelt zich direct thuis! Heerlijk ontbijt en mooie tuin met zwemvijver en vissen en als bijzonderheid de uilen!

Lovely breakfast location and host. This was my second stay here, would stay more often but its always full@!

Everything was perfect, starting the owners, beds, breakfast together with cute animals, even owls, which was a great adventure for the kids. You can see the care in every corner.

Such a lovely warm welcome from Stefan, we felt like true guests to the house rather than paying customers. Getting to meet all the animals and the real attention that Stefan showed our kid, getting her to help with feeding time and letting her play with the dogs and interact with the birds was fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful as well and the rooms were spacious and comfortable and incredible value for the price. We often look for places to stop when driving between the UK and Germany which was why we chose this B&B, but I will consider this as a destination in its own right in the future.

The best breakfast we had in a b&b. Really lovely host who is very knowledgeable about the area and can provide excellent advice where to eat, what to do, where to bike ride.

Everything was great.

From the outside, this B&B appears to be a normal home, but inside you will find gracious hosts who take a real interest in making you feel welcome. The common area has all you would need (e.g. games and drinks) and behind this is a real secret garden, complete with a pond, trees, grass, a jacuzzi, tables, fish, owls, chickens, and friendly dogs and cats. This B&B is perfect if you are looking to relax and feel like welcomed guests. It is particularly good if you are an animal lover. My daughter had a blast - playing with the dogs, seeing the birds and feeding the fish. Breakfast was also fantastic, and restaurant tips were proved valuable.

The room and the facilities were excellent everything was very clean , spacious room and bathroom. The view and the gardens really amazing . We spent couple of hours outdoor .

Our stay at 't Solveldje was outstanding! Stefan is a great host who made us feel like at home since 1st minute. He speaks 5 languages, so communication was never a problem! We stayed in a private room in the garden, with access to our private bath and a shared sauna and jacuzzi (During our stay the other room was empty, so it was basically private as well). Our small dog also enjoyed his stay and met Stefan's pets (cats and dogs). The breakfast was very good with plenty of options! Also Stefan was kind to introduce us to his owls and even let us pet them.

I loved everything! The place is beautiful, the room had everything I needed and was nicely decorated, modern and clean. There was a sauna between my room and another one but it was too late and I was too tired to enjoy it (next time!). Breakfast was amazing, I’m vegan so I asked them in advance if I could have had some vegan options and they answered not to worry, they would have prepared a vegan breakfast, but when I saw the table set in the morning I couldn’t believe it, there was food for a half dozen people! And with both sweet and savory options. But the best part was their hospitality, I had some very nice convos with Liesbeth the night of my arrival and with Stefan during breakfast on next morning. And Jim and Max and king Theo (some of their pets, if I remember their names correctly) were all so friendly and lovely! Next time I hope there would be a better weather to get acquainted with the owls too! Thank you again, everything was perfect and I simply felt I was staying at some friends’ house.

Perfect place to be! I just loved the room and the quiet place! This hotel is like a little diamond. Nobody will image such a place behind this building! Owls and Jacuzzi included! I enjoyed my shor time there a lot! Perfect breakfast with a nice speech with the owners!

This was a proper privately run bed and breakfast with many personal touches. We loved that it did not have the commercial anonymous feel that many places have. Our host was really helpful and went above and beyond with help and support and showing our children the animals. The breakfast was also really fantastic. We were very glad that there was availability when we were in Bilzen. It was close to the train station, which is what we were looking for.

This isn't a complaint, but maybe helpful for someone: If you have a pet allergy this might not be the right place for you.

Everything was perfect! Host was charming and helpful in every way possible. The garden is amazing with a collection of owls, chickens, buzzard, little Jack Russells and cats. Perfect for spending some quality time in. Breakfast was amazing, even though we only had time for a quick one as we had to leave early. We will be staying here again, even if it is just to enjoy the breakfast and garden.

Everything. The hosts were the best I've ever come across and so helpful. The variety of animals at the property kept me company on my lone journey and the rooms and facilities was top-notch. The hosts truly went above and beyond to make my stay and order of business in Bilzen, the best it could be!

Perhaps could have more spicy food options for breakfast but that's just the Indian in me talking.

Great stay at Stefaan's place. Warm welcome. Owner knows how to welcome the guests. Easy parking, amazing breakfast. Room was great as well. Don't hesitate a second.

I've stayed in many B&Bs and Hotels in many places but nowhere quite compares. The rooms are spacious and quiet and just lovely. Breakfast was substantial with everything you could want. It was a special occasion for my parents and Stefan went out of his way to make it so for them. Sauna was just so nice and relaxing with zen music and insence burning. Just exceptional. Can't wait to go back and stay longer next time.

Stefan and his family are great hosts. Stefan takes genuine interest in his guests and is great with kids. They own two dogs (who are very gentle with kids), cats, collection of Owls, roosters and fishes in the big pond, and all appears well cared for. Stefan, was kind enough to show us his Owls and also let us hold them. About the facilities, he jacuzzi was easy to operate and the rooms are of descent size. Pro tip: There are ample of standard Belgium grocery outlets, as well as fuel stations in the neighborhood of the property, so do no try to get things from far or be worried about stocking up your car up fuel or food.

Honestly, this is one of the the best B&B I've ever stayed at, the hosts are very friendly and helpfull. In addition, the amenities such as the sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pond will make it feel as if you are returning to a spa at the end of your day.
