La Signora Maria, host del b&b, é deliziosa, disponibile e contenta di poter praticare un po’ la lingua italiana che già conosce! Perfetto per vuole un’esperienza veramente belga, fosse per noi torneremmo a visitarla tutti gli anni!!

The bathroom and the toilet is shared by all rooms. The advertised parking is in the owner’s garage that is quite small, our 7seater didn’t fit in, we had to park outside on the street and the neighbours were giving us grief. The B&B owner asked for an additional payment for the parking (which she hasn’t been given, given the circumstances and the parking advertised as available, not at extra charge). The breakfast doesn’t happen before 9am. We needed to leave early so we’re given some basic refreshments. Our bedroom was on a split level and the steep wooden stairs didn’t have appropriate bannister. It wasn’t comfortable or very safe going up and down.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Maria is een geweldige host. Ze laat je meteen thuisvoelen en heeft geweldige aanbevelingen voor Brugge. Wat een prachtig mens. Na één nachtje slapen voelt het al als thuis en ga je haar missen bij vertrek. Ga hier naartoe als je een unieke en prettige ervaring wil hebben in deze mooie stad. Ligt naast een rustig park, in een rustige straat op een gunstige plek. Ontbijt was lekker. De accommodatie is ook schoon. Unieke en traditionele plek. Geen standaard commercieel hotel, maar een echt lokaal bezoek.

Nosotros estuvimos solamente una tarde y la dueña, encantadora, nos organizó la mejor forma de ver lo importante en una tarde. Su hospitalidad fue también más allá y el desayuno fue fantástico. Todo estaba muy limpio. Parking disponible pagando extra pero más barato que en otros lugares de la zona.
El váter es compartido entre 2-3 habitaciones y está fuera del baño, donde se encuentra la pica y la bañera (también a compartir). No hay ducha, es una bañera sin cortina y hay que ir con cuidado. Los muebles estaban llenos de cosas (ropa, documentos...) así que no están para el uso del huésped, sino de almacenamiento. La hospitalidad lo compensa pero es necesario tener en consideración esto.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Výborná hostitelka, blízko jak do centra, tak na nádraží, skvělá snídaně, roztomilý dům ve čtvrti s velmi vtipným příběhem.
Lustr jak v pokoji, tak na chodbě je velmi nízko a ani nedokážeme spočítat, kolikrát jsme se do nich bouchli. Bohužel Belgie ještě není země vysokých lidí. Češi, Balkánci a Nizozemci, dávejte si pozor na hlavu.

Not the room we had thought we had booked and this needs sorting on the booking system. Room we were given had very steep narrow stairs into attic so not suitable for all travellers.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Maria war sehr freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit, was die perfekte Route durch die Stadt betraf. Das Zimmer war groß genug und hat für eine Nacht seinen Zweck total erfüllt.
Ich persönlich hätte mich mit einer separaten Dusche durchaus wohler gefühlt, als in die Badewanne zu steigen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, aber es gab z. B. nur eine Tasse Kaffee und man hatte sowieso schon das Gefühl den Gästen des anderen Zimmers etwas wegzutrinken/wegzuessen. Also bei dem Preis hätte ich es nicht verkehrt gefunden, wenn mehr als eine halbe Kaffeekanne vorbereitet worden wäre :) Insgesamt haben wir uns schon wohl gefühlt, aber mit den vielen Regularien, wie z. B. Schuhe im Erdgeschoss ausziehen oder Rucksäcke nicht auf das Bett stellen, war es etwas "einengend".

La signora Maria, proprietaria dell'abitazione è stata gentilissima e simpaticissima e attenta alle nostre esigenze. Ci ha anche dato delle ottime informazioni sulle strade da percorrere, sui luoghi da visitare e anche dove mangiare. Ci ha preparato una ottima e abbondante colazione. Molto comodo il parcheggio privato interno.
La gentilezza e simpatia della signora Maria ci hanno aiutato a mettere in secondo piano il problema del bagno in comune, problema di cui, mea culpa, non mi ero resa conto al momento della prenotazione.

In our case, we were bitten by bed bugs. It's so hot that we couldn't sleep, there's no air conditioning and no fan. We were mainly in the living room of the bedroom than in bed. Sharing an apartment with several guests is not for everyone, but when they continue to use the bathroom at 12 or take a bath

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Die Gastgeberin Maria war hilfsbereit und hat uns sogar die Sehenswürdigkeiten inkl. Planung der Route ausführlich erklärt. Frühstück war sehr einfach gestrichen, aber lecker. Lage war ganz okay, ca 10 Minuten Laufweg zum Bahnhof oder in die Innenstadt. Ruhig gelegen, gut zum Schlafen.
Unser Doppelbett war in der Hochparterre über einen nicht genügend gesicherte und steile Treppe zu erreichen. Es war oben leider kein Licht, also war nachts noch gefährlicher in der Dunkelheit runterzusteigen.

サイトでみた部屋の写真と実際がちがっていた。話し合いをしたがオーナーは理解できない様子だった。 外気温29度の日だったのでロフトの寝室が熱く、眠れなかった。（ロフトには窓がない） 部屋には靴を脱いであがり、きれいに使うようにといわれたが、室内の床は砂などでざらざらで掃除がされていない感じがした。wifiの接続が不安定だった。

Lamentablemente, después de dos noches en una de las habitaciones del apartamento, nos han salido picaduras de chinches. Creemos que las hemos cogido en este apartamento, por si acaso hemos avisado a la casera. La almohada tenía manchas y la habitación tiene unas escaleras para subir a la cama, un tanto incómodas. Si tienes problemas de movilidad, no es un sitio accesible. También creemos que hace falta más espacio para tener las maletas organizadas. Hay estanterías llenas de sus objetos personales. Encima, para encender la luz general hay que subir las escaleras, ya que los interruptores de abajo no funcionan. Es muy poco funcional. El baño es compartido (ya lo sabíamos) pero le falta un poco de limpieza. En cuanto al servicio de desayuno incluido, estaba rico pero una de las tortillas tenía un pelo y ambas cáscaras de huevos. Por todo lo dicho, en cuanto a calidad precio nos parece caro.

Reviewed May 8, 2026Marie was so attentive and kind and explained the layout of Bruges to us with a map and she speaks several languages. The breakfast was amazing! Beautiful omelette with local cheese, fabulous coffee, fresh bread and homemade jams (banana and clementine was unexpectedly delicious!). Bathroom was clean and a good size, bedrooms roomy. Location was absolutely perfect- close to bus/train via beautiful parks yet also easy access to all of Bruges. It was very peaceful at night after busy tourist days. It was lovely to meet someone with such passion for their town and culture and also so travelled. We had breakfast with a lovely Mexican couple which enhanced our travel experience. Overall c’etait charmante x

Reviewed May 6, 2026The location was around a beautiful park. The room was also quite nice - very spacious and a spacious bathroom too. Tea/coffee making facilities and a breakfast was included though a simple one.
I suppose when one opts for a B&B type of accommodation, some restrictions come along as to the use of the owner's facilities in spite of paying an equivalent fee as one would pay in a hotel.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026The host, Maria, was really welcoming and warm. She was really informative about the city and even gave some local tips. Maria's omelette for breakfast was good enough, along with an Italian coffee. 15-20 minutes walk from the center.
The room was a study room with the bed on an upper attic level, which was not very practical. The stairs to access the bed were very narrow, and the ceiling was really low. The bathroom was on a different level, which was inconvenient, especially at night. The bathroom setup was also not ideal. The toilet and bathing area were separate and were not very comfortable to use.

Parking was not included in the price even if it was written as private before booking. The owner had her car parked in front of the garage door and because of that we couldn’t get our car at night where it was needed for health care. At the end of it we asked for extra receipt in regards to extra cost for parking and all we got was one paper handwritten the price and her name. Absolutely disappointed from the whole treatment compare to price and facilities included. Definitely not going back to this place.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026When booking this hotel, keep in mind that you will be staying in the same house as Maria (the owner). Maria is a wonderful woman, and it was very nice to meet her. She told us about herself, gave us a discount tip for the boat tour, and recommended a great brasserie that we ended up visiting. It was a great experience to see a Belgian house from the inside, and the location was very convenient — the city center is very close, and the park and the train station are nearby.
We didn’t like that we had to share the bathroom with other guests (three rooms and only one toilet and one bathroom). There is no shower, only a bathtub, so you have to sit in the tub and hold the shower head in your hand, which is very inconvenient. There was also no hot water on the first day (it was available at first, then it ran out and there wasn’t enough for everyone). There is probably a boiler in the house, but I’m not sure exactly why the hot water ran out — we just really wanted to shower after a long day in Brussels. Maria also asks guests to follow many house rules, so you are constantly thinking about them and can’t fully relax: opening the window after taking a shower, wiping everything after using the bathroom, etc. The cleanliness was also not perfect by my standards. Maria prepared the breakfast herself, but the omelet had pieces of eggshell in it. Maria said that juice at breakfast costs €1.5, but after check-out she said it was €4.5. In the end, for three days the two of us paid €27 for juice, and together with the tourist tax it came to €56. We would have liked to know about these costs in advance — for us it was a surprise.

- es hat leider sehr muffig gerochen - Bettlaken war nicht sauber - Handtücher haben gestunken - Maria ist ohne zu fragen in unser Zimmer und hat alles angefasst und umgestellt !

Elle est au petit soin et donne de bons conseils pour visiter Bruges. Sans oublier son petit déjeuner avec une omelette savoureuse.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad bij Colettientje in het prachtige Brugge. We werden ontvangen door Maria, een oudere dame met een hart van goud. Ze is heel toegankelijk en behulpzaam en laat je meteen thuis voelen in haar huisje en in de stad Brugge. De sfeer in het B&B en in de kamer is heel huiselijk en gezellig. Het is een beetje back to basics, maar net dat maakt het charmant en authentiek. Geen overdreven luxe, maar wel een warm nest van eenvoud en oprechte gastvrijheid. Als je dit niet prettig vindt dan kies je beter voor de grote luxe van een hotel. We hebben goed geslapen en de buurt is heel rustig. Het ontbijt was een leuk moment aan haar eettafel waar we getrakteerd werden met de beste versgemaakte confituur die we al gegeten hebben en een grote omelet en versgeperste sinaasappelsap. Maria kent de stad uit haar duimpje en gaf ons automatisch een kaart van Brugge met veel suggesties over de must visit plekjes van Brugge!
