Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The location is wonderful — it really feels like “a gateway to the Ardennes”. Surrounded by forest and close to the Meuse, it is incredibly peaceful, with fresh air and beautiful views. The house itself is large, very clean and set on a hillside overlooking the forest. The owner is exceptionally friendly, kind and welcoming, always happy to help and answer any questions. The room was clean and had plenty of storage space. The bathroom is very spacious and well equipped, with both a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Namur is nearby, the house is easy to reach by car, and there is convenient parking on the property. A lovely place to enjoy the peace and nature of this beautiful part of Belgium.

Enig Klein puntje weinig ligbedden niet echt uitnodigend om bij het zwembad te liggen in mijn geval jammer want mijn kleinzoon wilde steeds in het zwembad zijn Maar zwembad top!

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Wij hebben heerlijke dagen gehad! De chambre d'hotes was schoon en beschikte over een fantastisch buiten zwembad. Ook dit zwembad was super schoon. De gastheer is heel gastvrij en vriendelijk en denkt mee wanneer je iets gaat ondernemen. Geweldige fietstocht gemaakt langs de Maas naar Dinant en weer terug. Prachtige boswandeling gemaakt Bois des Nîmes. Maar het was vooral genieten in het zwembad omdat we heel warm weer hebben gehad. Ik kan deze accommodatie zeker aanraden!

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026J'y suis allé en début juin , rien à dire pour le prix. Je suis resté pour deux nuits comme prévu Environnement calme , très joli coin . La chambre parfaitement propre , petit coin salle de bain avec douche. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas su profiter de la piscine dû au temps. Mais j'ai profité des balades et découvertes dans les environs et endroits que les hôtes m'avaient conseillés ainsi que pour manger. Je conseille à tous 👌

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025Nous avons passer un excellent moment , notre hôte Alain a était très accueillant , nous avons pu échanger avec lui, il nous a même conseillé des activité à faire dans les environs , ce qui concerne la maison rien à dire chambre confortable avec télé et wifi , nous avons pu également profiter de la terrasse et de la piscine sans oublier les barbecue à notre disposition. Nous y retournerons dès que possible à très bientôt Alain les deux frères français .

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025Nous avons passé un séjour formidable ! Alain est d’une grande gentillesse et toujours prêt à aider, il nous a même fait découvrir de super coins de la région. La piscine est un vrai bonheur, on peut y nager du matin au soir. La chambre est impeccable, la cuisine équipée très pratique, et le parking pour la voiture bien apprécié. La tranquillité la nuit est un vrai luxe. Tout ici respire la convivialité et la détente… on repart avec de très bons souvenirs !

Reviewed Jul 30, 2025The host is very welcoming and helpful, communication is very easy and open. You have everything you need in the house and around, the rules are simple and with common sense anyone should be at ease staying here. Swimming pool is just awesome, we spent 2 full days in the water.
Not much to say, maybe the area around the swimming pool needs a bit of maintenance. For a weekend spent at the property all was quite in order, so the little inconveniences are not noticeable for a shot stay.

De verlichting in de éénpersoonskamer, 2 van de drie lampjes brandden niet. Er waren wel nog 2 losse led-armaturen op de bureautafel en het nachtkastje.

Das Zimmer verfügte über keine Dusche, vielmehr gab es nur ein Gemeinschaftsbad. Darauf wird weiter unten bei der Beschreibung von booking-com auch hingewiesen; das ist zumindest mißverständlich. Auf unsere geäußerte Enttäuschung meinte der Vermieter sehr unfreundlich, wir könnten ja wieder gehen, wenn uns das Zimmer nicht passe. Leicht gesagt, wenn man das Geld schon in der Tasche hat. Im Zimmer gab es nur eine Nachtischlampe und im Deckenstrahler funktionierten nur 2 von 3 Strahlern. Den avisierten Wasserkocher, mit dem wir uns eigentlich am nächsten Morgen einen Tee zubereiten wollten, fanden wir dann im Badezimmer auf dem Waschtisch neben mehreren Zahnputzbechern aus Plastik. Also doch lieber kein morgendliches Heißgetränk. Das in der Beschreibung aufgeführte Duschgel stellte sich als Sammelsurium zahlreicher, diverser kleiner Plastikfläschchen heraus, die alle angebrochen waren und nur noch kleine Restinhalte aufwiesen. Für über 90 Euro ist das Zimmer, das zudem sehr hellhörig ist, eine Zumutung!
