Mina Grande Beach Cottages

El alojamiento tiene unas vistas increíbles, y nuestra habitación estaba justo enfrente de la playa, muy bonito.

El baño es bastante pequeño para tres personas.

La ubicación, a 5 minutos en tuktuk del puerto.

No nos gustó el olor a humedad. No nos limpiaron la habitación ni una sola vez en los 4 días. Únicamente nos dieron un rollo de papel y tenías que estar pidiendo que te dieran toallas limpias continuamente. El personal no fue nada amable, sobre todo en el tema desayunos. Teníamos un island hopping y salíamos a las 6:20, y el desayuno abría a las 6:30. El día anterior, le pedimos amablemente que si nos lo podía preparar para take away y nos dijo que ya disfrutaríamos del desayuno otro día. Al día siguiente, cuando íbamos saliendo para la excursión vimos que ya estaban en la cocina (desde las 6), por lo que no llegamos a comprender esa actitud. Se suponía que teníamos unas perchas para nosotros para colgar la ropa mojada y todos los días nos quitaban algunas. Desde muy temprano ponen la música muy fuerte mientras realizan las tareas, incluido el karaoke sin miramiento ninguno de las personas que estamos descansando.

L’EMPLACEMENT, nous sortions de notre terrasse et étions les pieds dans l’eau. La chambre, belle, propre et équipée avec vue mer. Très bon petit déjeuner servi sur terrasse privée et personnel aux petits soins. Centre ville proche à pieds.

Lo staff è sicuramente il punto forte di questa struttura, Maymay alla reception è sempre disponibile e ci ha aiutato con la prenotazione di tutti i tour e transfer. Anche la colazione è molto buona.

The place was close to town. It was spacious, perfect for our family of three. Liked that the hot water in the bathroom is available so we can have a warm shower after whole day of island hopping. The view outside was stunning. Breakfast was delicious. Will highly recommend 💯

Sauber Unterkunft, nettes Personal und im Vergleich zu El Nido Town angenehm ruhig am Abend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious - amazing view overlooking the water while you ate 😍. Bit of a walk into town but we don’t mind this at all. Meant it was quiet. Lovely settings and surroundings and clean comfortable room.

Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Location was good - out of the main area but not too far, just a short tuk-tuk ride. Right on a beach with lovely views from seating area.

Room size was a bit on the small size and the wall paint colour not the best. Very little bedding so no loose sheet to cover yourself. Bathroom had very little space to put things on so it was a balancing act every shower time.

The hotel is in a great location, away from the traffic and chaos of the town center. The direct beach access is definitely a big plus, and there are also nice restaurants and places nearby where you can sit and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. During our stay, we got food poisoning from another restaurant near Nacpan Beach, and they really took care of us by helping with medicine and preparing suitable food to help us recover. Their support made a huge difference and we really appreciated it. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place.

The room was a bit small, and the bed for two people felt quite small as well. There was also nowhere in the room to hang clothes or towels, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, during our stay there were quite a lot of jellyfish in the sea, so swimming was a bit limited. However, this is obviously not the hotel’s fault.

The location couldn't have been better! The staff helped me plan a tour, transportation, laundry, and the breakfast was very good.

No se dignaron a contestar mis llamados ni mensajes. Cero ayuda al cliente, un lugar tan turístico y no se preocupan de los vuelos de sus clientes. Una falta de respeto y empatía, solo lucrar con el cliente.

Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt unkompliziert verlängern. Frühstück war gut (3 Toasts, Schinken, Spiegelei, Käse oder Marmelade und eine Frucht). Zimmer sind schön, sauber und geräumig. Lage ist direkt am Meer und man kann bei herrlichem Ausblick frühstücken. In der Unterkunft hat es auch einen kleinen Laden, wo man Getränke und Snacks kaufen kann.

Corong Corong ist nicht der tollste Badestrand. Mit dem Tricycle ist man aber sehr schnell am Vanilla Beach für 150 Pesos. Den Sonnenuntergang kann man an beiden Stränden geniessen.

The people are so friendly/ accomodating and they helped us with whatever we need. The place was relaxing and clean, and they offer laundry as well that smells so good.

That we had to leave

Our family stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. The property is clean, affordable and just enough for our family of four. It also offers a nice view of the beach and rock formation which you can enjoy especially at the breakfast area. It’s 5 mins away via tricycle to El Nido town so perfect if you want the quieter side of El Nido. They also provide free flowing coffee and tea, which you can enjoy anytime of the day.

Their free breakfast is decent and good, but I hope they don’t serve the same breakfast every day. It would be perfect if they change their breakfast menu every one or two days.

The staff is ran by a lovely woman and her amazing team and she did a lot to help us for anything we wanted! Helped us book a tour A, took our laundry, brought breakfast to our door and gave us information on anything we wanted. Location was good about 20 min walk into el nido proper. Tucked away on gorgeous corong corong beach it was clean, cosy and so comfortable would recommend

La vista del tramonto è qualcosa di indescrivibile, direi magica. La nostra camera, fronte mare, era dotata di ogni comfort, letti comodi e stanza abbastanza pulita. Colazione classica, con scelta tra cibi tipici locali, molto buona.

Non è proprio vicinissimo al centro di El nido, e la strada è un po' buia. Si arriva in centro con una camminata di 15 minuti circa oppure in tuk tuk per 150 pesos. La spiaggia davanti alla struttura non è balneabile.

Le personnel tres gentil et qui aime les animaux . L emplacement parfait en front de mer . Accès direct sur la plage tres agréable où il y a des des resto et bar tres sympas tout le long. A 5min en tuk tuk du centre. Le jardin tres mignon plein de plante . Possibilité de faire laver son linge . L air conditionné qui marche bien.

La chambre assez sombre et la salle de bain un peu vieillotte qui mériteraient un petit coup de neuf mais franchement on n y reste que pour dormir donc c est suffisant .

I loved that the property has free coffee and tea and water 24/7. The property is also literally 2 meters away from the sea. Like as you step off the property at the back its the corong corong beach. And on the beach you can walk along it and you will find plenty of resto/bars. You can also rent a bike with the property and also ask the Ate on the reception about vans if you need it. We wanted a van for going to lio airport and she was able to provide. Basic breakfast was also provided for us as part of the package!

Not much to not like. Only maybe the usual maintenance like patching up the cracks on the walls but thats only cosmetics. Another thing is that its funny really. Its not that i didnt like it, i found it funny. In our room (the one with bunk beds) I had a small window next to my bed, and in the morning at around 6:30am a little bird knocks on the window waking me up lol.

We had a comfortable stay, it’s in a good location and right on the beach. The room we had was big and you have your breakfast just out with a view of the sea every morning. The air conditioning and shower worked well too. There are also restaurants and bars in walking distance.

You have to ask to get your room cleaned but this seems to be standard for the islands.

Ubytování předčilo naše očekávání. Měli jsme čtyřlůžkový pokoj (dvě manželské postele). Šlo o samostatnou chatu přímo u pláže, moc hezky nově zrekonstruovanou. Pokoj byl čistý, koupelna velká, z postele výhled na moře. Domnívám se, že náš pokoj byl nejhezčí v resortu. Snídaně dostačující, celý den k dispozici káva, čaj, voda. Personál ochotný a příjemný. V okolí je spousta restaurací, obchodů, lodní výlety z pláže před resortem.

Vše v pořádku.

Lovely location close to restaurants and boat tours, with self-serve hot and cold water and coffee available anytime. Friendly staff and a handy clothesline outside our room for drying wet clothes.

El desayuno muy bien preparado, nos lo llevaban a la cabaña-habitación recien hecho y muy rico (panqueques, omelette, frutas), el cafe y agua estaba a disponibilidad las 24 horas del día, nuestra habitación estaba frente a la playa , lo mejor fue lo acogedor del lugar y la atención, son gente muy linda.

Room is big and fully furnished, I got the best one just in front of the beach. Toiletries are provided. Good breakfast. Location is very good, close to the port where all the tours start, and on the corong corong beach with the most beautiful restaurants and sunset. The center is only 5 mins far by scooter. Atm is very close. Maira was amazing, she helped me with eveything I needed, I felt like at home!

We had a wonderful four night stay at Mina Grande Beach Cottages, and would definitely stay there again in the future! The location was great, walking distance from el Nido township and Vanilla beach, a beautiful communal area right by the beachfront to have breakfasts or a beer in the evening. The beach right outside is not suitable for swimming, but we found an okay spot for a dip a bit further down the Corong Corong beach. Better beaches for swimming (Vanilla, Lio, Nacpan) are easily accesible by trike or moped too. The staff was super friendly and attentive, helping us with various requests and bookings of daytrips and van transfers throughout our stay. It felt like we were really well taken care of here. The room had everything we needed, very effective AC and good water pressure in the shower. The communal areas are beautiful with plenty of plants and greenery, and fairylights in the evening. If you’re looking for a place to stay where you can feel fully relaxed, this ones for you!

La zona perfecta, enfrente del mar, playa con piedras pero con marea alta puedes bañarte bien. Estaba a 10 minutos caminando de la zona centro del Nido pero lejos del ruido. Tiene neverita, no es habitual en Filipinas, muy bien para mantener fresco si te apetece comprar algo. El desayuno bastante correcto. Tienen agua, café y té para que te sirvas cuando te apetezca. El personal muy bien

Simpel aber super sauber! Zimmer groß genug. Tolle Matratze und Kopfkissen. Warmes Wasser auch in Ordnung. Faire Preise am Getränke Kühlschrank. Die Bepflanzung der ganzen Anlage war einfach außergewöhnlich. Es gab so viel zu entdecken. Die Gastgeberin ist überaus freundlich und hat uns das Frühstück direkt vorne am Strand serviert. Zum Strand sind er nur ein paar Stufen. Und es ist wesentlich ruhiger wie im nördlicheren Teil von El nido.

Very good location in walking distance to the city. Directly on the beach. Breakfast every morning. The room was clean and had everything needed. Motorbike rental in the facility as well as booking tours and transports :) The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was the same every day, but it's enough and tasty. The room is a little bit small but it's okay for sleeping.

Buona la posizione sia per le partenze dei vari tour che come distanza da El Nido centro (circa 100 PHP one way per raggiungerlo in Tuktuk). Camera spartana, ma agevole. Personale molto attento, gentile e disponibile, hanno dato seguito ad ogni nostra richiesta sempre con cortesia. Nelle media delle sistemazioni a El Nido dove i prezzi sono del tutto ingiustificati rispetto ai reali servizi offerti Mina Grande resta un’ottima soluzione qualità-prezzo. Mi sento di consigliare la location.

Bagno con evidenti segni di usura, qualche manutenzione andrebbe fatta, il miscelatore girava a vuoto e nella camera standard matrimoniale mancava la tenda o una porta nella doccia che garantisse privacy ma sopratutto pulizia. Ad ogni utilizzo si finisce con il bagnare dappertutto, wc compreso, tutto il pavimento, ecc con conseguente disagio e impossibilità di asciugare.

Maps and coordinates to the location were all incorrect. Very hard to find. I wandered a long time before eventually finding it and only because I got instructions from a local businessman. Constant pounding dance music from the club nearby— it played from 6 PM to 3:15 AM. If you stay here, bring earplugs. Misunderstanding about payment for the tuck tuck to the airport. I was told to pay the man at the front desk of the hotel. But he did not pass the money on to the tuck tuck driver. I arrived at the airport and was asked to pay again.

The crew that works there are very friendly and very helpful.

Die Lage ist Spitze. Direkt am Strand gelegen. Es ist sehr ruhig, da nicht direkt in El Nido gelegen, wobei das Zentrum aber fußläufig in 10 bis 15 Minuten erreicht werden kann (oder man nimmt für 100 Pesos ein Tricjcle). 10 Sterne. Die Cottages sind eingebettet in viele Blumen und Pflanzen , sehr hübsch. Instent Kaffee und Wasser kann jederzeit selbst gemacht bzw. Abgezapft werden. Die Zimmer sind rel. klein, aber sauber, einfach und ausreichend ausgestattet. Der Manager ist hilfsbereit und organisiert auf bitten auch Touren oder z.b. den Transfer zum Flughafen.

Das sind nur Anmerkungen. Der Manager war sehr ernst und wirkte oft angespannt. Das Frühstück war sehr einfach und ist auf jeden Fall ausbaufähig.

La vue depuis la terrasse de l'hôtel était magnifique. Il est globalement très bien situé. Le personnel est très disponible et sympathique. Tout fonctionnait très bien. Petit frigo à disposition. Le fait de se retrouver au calme par rapport à El Nido qui est très agité et très bruyant. Possibilité de louer un canoë pour aller sur les plages les plus proches directement avec l'hotel, et de réserver également les tours (excursions) ou les tuk-tuk directement avec la réception également, avec des prix qui nous ont semblé honnêtes.

Même si le coin est plutôt calme pour El Nido et que la plupart du temps on s'y sent très bien et justement au calme : la nuit, quand les fêtards sont de sortie, c'est bruyant. Mais je me demande si c'est possible d'avoir plus calme... Le coq nous a semblé également parfois déphasé à cause du bruit et des lumières artificielles, il peut chanter même à des heures improbables de la nuit. De plus, nous le savions, mais il faut savoir que la plage est difficilement baignable.
