Reviewed Jan 21, 2026Clarissa was very helpful in facilitating our late arrival. The towels were great - I love fluffy towels! The breakfast was extremely generous and we loved chatting to Clarissa. It was in a very quiet residential area.
I didn’t find the bed very comfortable but my daughter had no issues.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Centrally located with a short drive into the centre of Cromwell. Clarissa has a beautiful home which is clean and tidy. Her garden is exceptionally beautiful. We spent one night at Sabai Sabai before completing the Dunstan e-bike trail. Beds were comfy and it was lovely to have a hot shower. Very yummy breakfast before we left. Thank you for your recommendations on what to do in the area.

The hostess was a fantastic host, offering many valuable suggestions for things to do and see in both the immediate area and beyond. Her breakfast included delicious homemade jam. If you’re near Cromwell or traveling to Queenstown or the fjords, this is the homestay for you!

Excellent breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade preserves! Quiet location and a beautifully kept garden. Close to the Cromwell Heritage Precinct and wonderful nearby walks and cycle trails. Really enjoyable stay.
