Unser Zimmer hätte einwenig sauberer sein können. Der Boden war nicht gut gesaut.

Ogni mattina prepara personalmente una semplice ma piacevole colazione continentale. La posizione è ideale per chi cerca tranquillità e desidera stare lontano dal caos, pur avendo il paese di Kinvara raggiungibile in soli 10 minuti di auto. La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato era accogliente, dotata di tutto il necessario, con bagno privato, letto comodo e una vista davvero splendida. Un soggiorno che consiglio senza alcun dubbio!

Il giardino si affaccia sulla baia e nel silenzio ti consente di godere del cielo e del mare. Una favola. Noel, il proprietario, è una persona meravigliosa: simpatico, disponibile, gentile e premuroso. L’alloggio è curato, pulito e ha tutti i servizi.

Wenn ich Vermieter einer Wohnung bin, sollte ein freundlicher Empfang und auch Kommunikation selbstverständlich sein. Dies konnten wir allerdings auch ansatzweise nicht erkennen. Woraus die guten Bewertungen resultieren, können wir nicht verstehen, auch andere Gäste sind während unseres Aufenthalts vorzeitig abgereist. Das Frühstück war 0815... nichts Besonderes und wir hatten uns nach der 2. Übernachtung auch entschlossen, in eine andere Unterkunft umzuziehen.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026The location is quiet and a true Irish bed and breakfast experience. Just a 30 minute drive to Galway and 50 minute drive to Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. Convenient to attractions but quiet and remote to feel like you are truly experiencing Ireland. A quintessential Irish pub just two miles away (The Travelers Inn). Kinvara is a cute town just a few minutes away also.

Het had allemaal wel wat schoner, georganiseerder en hygiënischer mogen zijn. Maar Noel staat er alleen voor en doet zijn best.

Reviewed May 14, 2026Noel is a very considerate host with a sense of humor. Breakfast is simple of a boiled egg, meat, cheese and toast. Enough to get your day going! He is very helpful and accommodating. The room is very clean with comfortable beds. Shower is small in size…probably typical for a European country.
It has nothing to do with the property manager, the location is an hour away from Galway. That has to do with the narrow roads, not the property. Kinvara is a 10 minute drive but other places are farther away.

Geen culinair hoogstandje, maar wel goeie tips ervoor, zoals 10 minuten rijden naar Linnane’s Lobster Bar!

Está muy apartado y debes llegar en coche, pero lejos de ser un problema esto lo convierte en un emplazamiento idílico, frente al mar. La casita parece de cuento, decorada con muchísima personalidad y muchos colores. La habitación era comodísima y espaciosa y el baño también muy grande. Pero lo mejor de Breacan's Cottage es Noel, su propietario. Noel es una persona encantadora y amable que te hace sentir en casa desde el primer momento, haciendo alarde de la hospitalidad irlandesa. Nos hizo unos desayunos estupendos y nos recomendó lugares que visitar y cosas que hacer por la zona, siempre con una sonrisa y su particular sentido del humor irlandés. Nos sentimos tratados como familiares de visita, no como huéspedes. Nos supo a poco y nos quedamos con muchas ganas de volver!

Camere e bagni troppo piccoli e umido con pulizia approssimativa.siamo venuti qui per le ottime recensioni ma o qualcosa è cambiato o altri hanno aspettative molto basse. La decantata posizione è in riva ad un fiordo carina ma nulla di eccezionale. La pulizia é approssimativa e camere umide e piccole rendono il soggiorno poco piacevole.

Leider ist das Anwesen im Vergleich zu den Fotos vernachlässigt worden. Man erkennt aber, daß es mal von liebevollen Händen gepflegt wurde. Das Zimmer war sehr eng und zugestellt. Das Bad nicht sehr sauber (lange Haare von Vorgängern an den Wänden), müffelig. Die Handtücher rochen unangenehm nach Feuchtigkeit. Die Bettwäsche vermittelte keinen sauberen Eindruck. Das Frühstück bestand täglich aus Cheddarkäse, Kochschinken, Marmelade, Butter, Honig (aus der Packung), Toast. Auf Wunsch Ei und Müsli, Kaffee oder Tee.Das wars leider. Schade.
