Reviewed Sep 13, 2026C’etait une experience agréable, Pedro est très gentil, serviable et assez flexible. Il nous a aidé à trouver des endroits pour découvrir Setubal. Le logement est très propre, les lits sont très confortables, toilettes propres. Cuisine bien équipée, nous etions très contents.

Eu creio que a questão das escadas com certeza para algumas pessoas é uma dificuldade. O prédio é alto e possui uma escadaria para acessar os quartos.

It is minimal comfort, small room even though we had everything we needed The towels are incredibly thin. We had a water cut on the last day, could not take a shower or even have a coffee, apparently it something that happens sometimes...

La scala per raggiungere la camera è molto ripida, quindi può essere scomoda soprattutto con valigie o per chi ha difficoltà a salire le scale.

La salle d'eau, bien que très petite, était fonctionnelle. Un espace (étagère) pour ranger les affaires aurait été bien. La cuisine est très bien équipée

El lavado era un poco incómodo a la hora de poder lavarte los dientes,la tele no cogía casi ningún canal,no había mucha presión en la ducha y las escaleras para acceder a la habitación un poco demasiadas empinadas,que cuando vienes con maletas y con una persona de movilidad reducida se complica un poco,la ubicación no me gustó nada,difícil de aparcar y pasa en tren cerca.Me tuve que ir por motivos familiares un día antes y escribí por vía WhatsApp explicando el motivo y si se podía hacer el reembolso(que entiendo que no se pudiera)pero no volví a recibir ninguna respuesta de ningún tipo,y eso que se tradujo al portugués,

El suelo crujía muchísimo cada vez que pasaba alguien. La habitación vibraba una barbaridad cuando pasaba el tren. Y una parte de la pared de la habitación estaba rota y con el aire de la calle sonaba muchísimo como un aullido que no te dejaba dormir.

It was a sobering realisation feeling around for a phone in my pocket, realising I left it in the room and having to tackle Mount staireverest to retrieve. But didn't take away from the experience at all.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Stationnement sur la rue limité et souvent réservé mais quand même suffisamment accessible et gratuit. Même s'il faisait chaud 10-12 juin 2026 et que nous étions à l'étage supérieur, la configuration de l'appartement permettait avec l'ouverture des fenêtres de chaque côté, d'avoir une bonne ventilation et une température très confortable. Au besoin, l'air climatisé vient à la rescousse. Nous avons aussi apprécié le concept de l'accès à la cuisine commune et tous ses accessoires et électroménagers afin de faciliter les repas. L'aire commune et les tables aux balcons sont un extra non négligeable pour la socialisation et l'extérieur. La finition est impeccable et rehaussée de boiseries et de décoration hors de l'ordinaire. Par exemple, ils ont réutilisé une ancienne porte dans notre chambre pour y ajouter miroirs et tablettes. Brillant!!! Finalement, les lits étaient confortables et la propreté exemplaire. Bravo à l'équipe et recommandation "haut la main" pour y séjourner sans compter la proximité des restaurants et alentours accueillants pour une randonnée pédestre.
Les dernières 15 marches sur 45 n'ont pas de rampe et un angle de 90 degrés aux premières marches alors il faut redoubler de prudence avec les bagages à l'arrivée est au départ du logement.

Nichts, war alles perfekt.

Tal como em Portugal no geral, devia ser 20/30% mais barato, talvez a Booking devesse pensar melhor as comissões que cobra aos alojamentos e estes também podiam cobrar preços mais razoáveis.

Quando cheguei estavam duas camas individuais encontradas uma na outra, o lençol superior era apenas um mas os cobertores paramos taparmos eram individuais, ou seja do conjunto das camas individuais. Era mais verdadeiro terem recusado o pedido, pois não era condição de exclusão do alojamento, mas sim apenas uma preferência.

Reviewed Apr 1, 2026A lovely property with excellent facilities, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The room all share a a well equipped kitchen on the top floor. There is AC, smart TV and excellent WiFI. I was informed I could use the outside balconies on the top floor. Though I didn't meet the host, they were extremely helpful with clear instructions provided as to entry. City centre only a short walk away and there is plenty of street and allocated parking at a low cost (though often restricted to 4 hours max during the day). The city is authentically Portuguese - not like those on the Algarve. Really hope to return.
Nothing really. Some reviews have mentioned the noise of the train station nearby. This, however, was not a problem for me. Location no more noisy then most in a city centre. Just a warning, the steps on entry to the building are steep. Could be difficult if you have much luggage.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Had a really nice time at the guesthouse. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, helping us with whatever we needed. The room and bathroom were spacious, bright and clean. The same also goes for the shared kitchen and living room which were both well supplied and modern. The location is great too, only a few minutes walk to the Avenida and harbour. For such a reasonable price too, I would strongly recommend the guesthouse to anyone visiting Sétubal.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026This is a lovely, well-organized guesthouse that has thought of many little touches to make things comfortable and convenient. It is small, you don't have a lot of people, traffic, or noise. It's very conveniently located downtown and within walking distance of a lot of amenities. Everything was clean and the room was spacious. The bathroom was also nice.
The stairs are no joke. To get to the reception as well as the top floor, you need to go up a stairway that is steep and a bit perilous. Not much of a problem for me, but not recommended for anyone with mobility impairments.

Treppe ist schon sehr steil, Zimmer befinden sich im 2. + 3. OG (man läuft im Treppenhaus am 1. OG vorbei). Das kann für einige problematisch sein, besonders mit großem und schwerem Gepäck.
