Lovely building, located down a wee side road just off the main road so nice and quiet. Room was comfortable and clean and the host Regina was fantastic.

It was a strange stay. No one to greet us when we arrived. We had to let ourselves in. The next morning, our host overslept, passed our set time for breakfast. We had to wake her up. Just bizarre.

Glenmore House ist schon beeindruckend. Allein die Auffahrt zum Haus ist sehr schön. Regina hat uns herzlich empfangen und war eine sehr gute Gastgeberin mit der man sich angenehm unterhalten kann. Das über 200 Jahre alte Haus hat ein tolles Flair....tolle "alte" Zimmer, in denen man ein bisschen in der Vergangenheit lebt...großartig. Das Bad unseres Zimmers war groß mit 2 Waschbecken nebeneinander und einer moderneren Dusche als manch anderes B&B (konstanter kräftiger Wasserstrahl. Zum Frühstück gab es frisch geschnittenes Obst, Joghurt Müsli und Toast. Dazu Marmelade und wenn wir gewollt hätten auch Wurst + Käse. Natürlich auch Kaffee und Tee.

We had a wonderful stay here last night and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The house is absolutely stunning, full of old-world charm and character, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax. Regina was a fantastic host-so warm, welcoming, and friendly from the moment we arrived. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and her hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved everything about our visit and will definitely be back. Das Haus war eine sehr charmante alte Villa mit entsprechender Ausstattung. Man fühlt sich in die alte Zeit versetzt. Regina war sehr nett. Ein kostenfreier Parkplatz befand sich vor der Tür. Unser Zimmer war klein, aber für eine Nacht ausreichend. Das Frühstück war eher kontinental.

Glenmore House is een prachtig oud landhuis met mooie tuin op een beboste heuvel. Regina, de eigenaresse is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. We mochten gebruik maken van de zitjes en ligstoelen in de tuin.

Het was voor ons net iets te ver om naar de restaurantjes in het dorp te lopen

Regina was very accommodating and gave us a complementary upgrade to make our stay more pleasant. The property and view were beautiful and quiet. The breakfast was lovely as well!

Il faisait un peu froid dans la chambre, heureusement qu'il y a un radiateur électrique La télécommande de la télévision ne fonctionnait pas, on a changé sur la télé. Le Wi-Fi trop faible, il fallait se mettre dans un certain coin de la chambre.

Location was good. The house is nice, it was a pity that the weather was bad as the garden seemed nice. The woman running the house was very nice and offered to drop me to town.

It would have been lovely to have a full Irish breakfast to set us up for the day however the continental breakfast, as advertised, was lovely.

The Landlady was friendly, helpful, and had a good sense of humour.

Beautiful place to stay. Very welcoming and accommodating. The views were great feom our bedroom windows, the room and bathroom were so big but very cosy. The host was so lovely and helpful too! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back.

Lovely 200 year old family home. Not your average B&B. Huge bedroom and separate bathroom. Huge comfortable double bed. Very attentive owner. Lovely breakfast. Very convenient for Mullingar town centre. Easy to find.

It suited us perfectly but might not be everyone's (younger generation?) cup of tea.

My mother and I enjoyed a one night stay at Glenmore House. It is a beautiful old period property close to the centre of Mullingar. Our room was clean and very comfortable with a double and a single bed and a small en-suite shower room. The inclusion of continental breakfast was most welcome and the price was very reasonable. Regina, the host was very friendly and welcoming and I would be happy to stay here again.

Owner was superb, and the room and entire house was just gorgeous, highly recommend!

We were walking from the bus drop off point, so it was a little bit of a distance to walk, but it was doable.The breakfast was wonderful, there was a good variety of food to choose from. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hostess was very gracious and saw to it that we had everything that we needed.I highly recommend the Glenmore House BnB Mullingar.

Location perfect but Google maps did not seem to give correct location. My sister travelled separately and had the same problem. She left the property to meet me to bring me to it. I had passed it twice. I would liked to have spent more time there but we were short on time. I would re visit

The breakfast was lovely but missed the option of a cooked breakfast. However the price prob took this into account

We had a lovely stay in Glenmore. Regina the host even dropped us into town to a wedding and defrosted our car the next morning. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms was spacious with a lovely hot shower in the bathroom. Would highly recommend!

Bellissima dimora immersa in un parco nel pià assoluto silenzio, pur essendo a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro della piccola cittadina. La camera era ampia, con un bagno funzionale e tutto quanto necessario. La proprietaria è premurosa nell'assicurare un soggiorno confortevole. Colazione varia e abbondante

The house is beautiful and full of character, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Regina is a wonderful host and so welcoming. She even had warm water on hand to defrost our car when left early the next morning. I would highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back!

Chambre spacieuse dans une belle demeure chargée d'histoire au milieu d'un parc boisé, au calme. Hôtesse chaleureuse avec qui nous avons pu bien échanger.

Système de douche qui ne fonctionnait pas : nous avons dû utiliser une douche dans une salle de bain partagée.

The rooms were delightful!! I love the old fashioned look - beautiful sash windows, high ceilings and excellent decor. The bathroom itself was larger than most bedrooms I’ve had!!!

I had a nice stay at Glenmore House in Mullingar. The property is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere that feels both welcoming and relaxing. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed provided. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the continental breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. The location is ideal – peaceful and scenic, yet only a short drive/walk from Mullingar town, making it a perfect balance between convenience and tranquility.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin; Unterstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder. Gutes kontinentales (!) Frühstück. Lage zwischen Privatpark und großer Rasenfläche: sehr ruhig!

Eher neutral, da diese Kommentarspalte fehlt: Wer den Komfort eines Hotels sucht oder ein irisches Frühstück erwartet, wird hier enttäuscht werden. Statt dessen findet er sich in einem sehr großen Zimmer wieder, dessen Bad allein die Größe so manches Hotelzimmers hat. Entsprechend der sehr alten Villa funktioniert nur einer der Hähne des Doppelwaschbeckens und das Bidet ist völlig funktionslos. Dafür gibt es Dutzende verschiedener Hand- und Badetücher im Bad. WLAN kaum nutzbar, da die Feldstärke im Haus nur sehr gering ist. Sauberkeit ist „optimierbar“, das Haus hat mit den vielen Dekoobjekten etwas von einem Museum vergangener Pracht…

The house itself is conveniently located (10 mins walk to the center) and very homely. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the garden view from the window provided a nice way to start the day. The hosts were very friendly.

The room does not lock from the outside. It is a safe area and place though, still something to consider.

We were extremely grateful for the clean, comfortable and friendly welcome on our first night in Ireland. This B&B will be saved as a favourite for a longer stay next time we visit.

Lovely quite location, this is a family home and feels like it, warm welcome and looked after, areas need some tlc, great value for money, room and ensuite are spacious and clean, amazing personal taste which adds to the experience of staying her, reviews mentioned cooked breakfast but now only offer continental due to wastage which we understand but should info should be on website, easy walk into Mullingar. Basically we loved it and will definitely return.

It's a big, old house and could benefit from some tlc like all properties.

The folks here went way above and beyond to accommodate me and I am very grateful. The house and grounds are very beautiful. I wholeheartedly recommend the Glenmore.
