Reviewed Sep 16, 2026The location was perfect for us for sightseeing and visiting family. June was very friendly and helpful and could not do enough for you. Her baking is to die for!! The cake left in our room upon arrival was very welcome with a cup of tea. There was lots of choice for breakfast, various cereals, juices and several variations for a warm breakfast. Our room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. We will definitely be staying with June during our next visit.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026We liked the fact that, although there wasn’t much to do, you could at least go for a walk along the road and enjoy the countryside and see some animals.
The accommodation is somewhat far from the village. You also have to cross a motorway-like road with no pedestrian crossing, so it can be a little risky. There are also no supermarkets nearby and hardly any restaurants or bars in the area.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026I proprietari erano molto gentili e premurosi,la Signora ci ha preparato la colazione alle 6.30 del mattino anche se non era ancora l'orario di colazione perche noi dovevamo andare via prima per prendere l'aereo.
Avrei preferito un bagno piu moderno perche ho avuto difficoltà a far scaricare l'acqua del wc per via della maniglia un po' antica.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Our stay at June's was very good, June was very friendly and welcoming. Soon after arrival June invited us into her coffee shop on site, where we had a pot tea and beautiful homemade cakes that June is renowned for. the breakfast wad good with June homemade bread.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026June ist eine sehr liebenswerte Gastgeberin! Sie hat uns extra früh Frühstück gemacht, da wir zum Flughafen mussten. Sie ging auf unsere vegetarischen Wünsche ein und es hat uns an nicht gefehlt. Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer, das war für eine Nacht mehr als ausreichend. Das Bad war auf dem Flur, welches wir alleine für uns hatten. Die Nähe zum Flughafen ist sehr komfortabel und man ist in 5 min dort. Einziges Manko war das Bett. 140 cm mit roll-together effekt. Die Matratze ist nichts für Menschen > 80 kg. Geschlafen hatten wir nicht so gut - aber so verschliefen wir nicht. Dennoch für Irland war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis super. Nächstes Mal nehmen wir kein Budgetzimmer, sondern das Große. Herzlichen DANK June für Deine Liebenswürdigkeit.

The next morning, June was ready to prepare a delicious breakfast for us as early as 7.00 am, as we had an early flight. The room was very clean and comfortably furnished. We felt right at home. June and her husband are very friendly and brilliant hosts. Thank you very much!

Den Team Room gibt es nicht mehr, da die Betreiberin in Rente gegangen ist. Wurde vor/nach Buchung aber nicht kommuniziert. Ich buchte Monate im voraus und bekam für 90 € ein teils unhygienisches, teils in die Jahre gekommenes Zimmer in deutlich vernachlässigtem Zustand. Ein anderes Zimmer sah etwas besser aus. Der Wasserkocher war unzumutbar: zentimeterdicke Kalkschicht und mehrere große abgeplatze Plastikstücke im Behälter. Kissen rochen zum Teil benutzt und/oder hatten keinen wechselbaren Bezug. Das Inklusivfrühstück gab es erst ab 7:30 Uhr, daher durch Abflug am Morgen nicht bzw. nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Trotzdem voll bezahlt. Enttäuschend und von allen bisherigen Unterkünften in Irland die einzige bittere Erfahrung. So schade.

Our room was very close to the kitchen so the noise from the coffee machine etc was very loud in the morning . We followed directions to the properly using Google maps and the eircode used on the booking but it directed us to another property a few minutes drive away. When we rang June she seemed annoyed at us for being at the wrong address and admittedly we were running late as we had car issues but I had updated her with our ETA via text but she wasn’t very pleased about that either . Her husband / partner made up for her lack of hospitality and was very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was lovely.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026June’s B&B was an extremely cozy place to stay. June herself is a very gracious and warm hostess. Our room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, shower pressure was great, and the breakfast was fantastic. We happened across this B&B because it was more or less bang in the middle of our drive between destinations on a short winter holiday, and I’m very glad we did so. If we find ourselves in Ireland once more, we’ll definitely stay here again.

She helped me order food when I arrived in the evening, made a lovely breakfast and for a small fee took me to the local airport in the morning. There was plenty of tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable and even though near to a main road the noise levels were minimal. Good value for money in a handy location.
If I am being picky, the bedroom could benefit from having a lamp.

There was no Restaurant or Cafe on the premises as advertised in the booking description, which was disappointing. But, there was a fast-food take-out not far from the b&b and they delivered. Food we ordered was very good. Advised June of this. She checked the description of the booking and looked into changing the information.
