Reviewed Sep 9, 2026I liked that Fernando was the consummate host. He greeted us, inquired about our day , and welcomed us as if the hotel was his personal home. The upstairs pool and jacuzzi was on the rooftop with amazing views. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of options . One could order eggs, homemade yogurt, fresh fruit and more. Everything was an abundance. The staff was very kind too. We would go back to see Fernando and stay longer.

La colazione è stupenda con frutta fresca, tutto ciò che rende perfetta la colazione e possibilità di doggy bag da tenere per la giornata. Piscina sul tetto e possibilitò di poter avere a disposizione drink hanno reso questo soggiorno perfetto, mi è dispiaciuto fermarmi così poco

Supernettes Personal. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Der whirlpool auf dem Dach, den man bis in die Nacht nutzen kann. Getränkeauswahl gratis. Parken kann man problemlos 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Zimmer sauber und groß.
Dass wir nur 1 Nacht geblieben sind.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Ideal location, as it sits almost hidden along the postcard streets of Odeceixe. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the AL-Odeceixe Verde as our top lodging stay during our Portugal visit. The breakfast was fresh and made to order! The pool on the roof with sitting areas and bar added a great touch to the experience. One evening at the end of the city street, the town of Odeceixe hosted a free concert of traditional Portuguese singers and guitars, surrounded by a crowd of people clapping and singing -- the beautiful songs and energy in the night streets was amazing. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!
Maybe a ride to the beach in Fernando's speedy Mercedes would have capped off a perfect trip!

Das Frühstück jeden Morgen war hervorragend, und der Salzwasserpool auf dem Dach ein echtes Highlight. Die ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum erholen konnten.

Klein detail maar de muziek op de gangen had voor mij niet gehoeven.

We sliepen onder het roof swimmingpool - de filterinstallatie die s nachts enkele keren in gang schiet is wel hoorbaar …

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026This was the most expensive room we booked for our 7-day walk along the Fisherman's Trail... and it was worth every Euro. It was the standout stay of our entire trip, a beautifully appointed boutique hotel in the heart of Odeceixe, with comfy beds and modern bathroom, free drinks in the courtyard, a refreshing rooftop pool and a hot tub (sooooo nice after a day of walking). All just steps from many great restaurants. You are in the heart of town but in a luxurious and restful space all your own. And the coffee and breakfast the next morning were healthy and delicious. Great value for the money. Highly recommended.
I didn't like that we only stayed one night! This would have been the perfect spot for a rest day to enjoy even more of the hotel and see more of the area, especially the nearby beach. :)

Our room (2) was on the ground floor facing the road so it could be a bit noisy from passing traffic and from people taking an early breakfast.

Getränke sind zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und vielfältig, frische Früchte runden das Angebot ab. Die Lage im Ort für einen Restaurantbesuch ist ideal.
Das Frühstück sollte für alle gleichzeitig und nicht gestaffelt möglich sein, wenn man früh auf den Fischerweg möchte.

La posizione è perfetta: si trova proprio nel centro del paese, comoda per tutto. La struttura è impeccabile, pulitissima e curata in ogni dettaglio, con un’atmosfera calda e familiare. La corte interna è davvero un angolo speciale. Ma ciò che rende questo posto davvero unico è Fernando, il proprietario. Una persona squisita, gentile e generosa come poche. Eravamo in bicicletta e non solo ci ha aiutato a pulirle, ma le abbiamo ingrassate insieme come se fossimo vecchi amici. Al nostro arrivo, ci ha accolto nella corte chiedendoci se volevamo bere qualcosa. Abbiamo preso due birre e lui ci ha subito detto che potevamo prendere qualsiasi cosa dal frigo, tutto offerto da lui. Gestisce tutto con un sorriso e una disponibilità rara. Lo staff è giovane, professionale e sempre attento. La colazione è semplicemente superlativa: varietà incredibile, tutto buonissimo e di qualità. Quello che avanza al mattino viene gentilmente messo a disposizione degli ospiti da portare via per la giornata, un pensiero davvero apprezzato. Ho viaggiato tanto in vita mia, ma Fernando e questo posto mi hanno lasciato un ricordo speciale. Consiglio vivamente AL-Odeceixe Verde a chiunque passi da Odeceixe. Se cercate una sistemazione pulita, accogliente e gestita con il cuore, fermatevi qui: ne vale davvero la pena.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Sehr schöne Zimmer. Bequeme Betten. Besonders die Zimmer zum Innenhof sind sehr ruhig. Der Pool auf dem Dach war sensationell und erfrischend. Haus ist sehr sauber und Fernando ist immer präsent, äusserst nett, zuvorkommend und unersetzlich. Personal sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank für eine einmalige Erfahrung. So geht Gastfreundschaft!

We struggled finding a cab to take us to an out of town bus station and they arraigned for us. Hot tub was a welcome relief after a day of walking and perfect location close to good restaurants

Tolles Frühstück mit frischem Obst und Saft, man hat vom Gastgeber sogar to go Boxen bekommen, um sich was mitnehmen zu können. Im Innenhof kann man sich gratis Getränke nehmen. Das Wetter war bei unserem Aufenthalt leider nicht so gut, so dass wir den Pool nicht nutzen konnten, dieser sah aber ebenfalls toll aus.

I usually am not the guy for hyperbolic praise, but odeceixe verde more than deserves it.
nothing to complain here, i loved staying in this place! if i ever go back to odeceixe, i will stay here again.

Die Zimmer waren etwas hellhörig und mit wenig Tageslicht, aber sonst war alles perfekt an der Unterkunft!
