Mijn man is niet lenig en had wat problemen met bed en plafond erboven.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem B&B und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Vermieterin war unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt haben. Das Frühstück war einfach hervorragend, für uns eine klare 10 von 10! Es war liebevoll zubereitet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders begeistert hat uns auch die traumhafte Lage. Der Blick aus dem Fenster auf das Wasser war wunderschön und hat jeden Tag zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Die Liebe zum Detail war in der gesamten Unterkunft spürbar, von der Einrichtung bis hin zu den kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten. Alles war mit viel Herz gestaltet und sehr gepflegt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Dass wir nur für eine Nacht dort waren, wir hätten länger dort bleiben sollen.

Ein zauberhaftes Fleckchen Erde, das direkt aus einem Märchenbuch stammen könnte. Vom ersten Moment an wird man hier mit so viel Wärme empfangen , dass sich das sofort wie zu Hause anfühlt. Jede Ecke dieses wunderschönen Bed and Breakfast erzählt ihre eigene liebevolle Geschichte. Überall entdeckt man kleine verspielte Details frische Blumen, die einem ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubern. Das Zimmer war ein absoluter Traum aus Gemütlichkeit und das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück hat uns jeden Morgen regelrecht begeistert . Die Gastfreundschaft wird hier noch von ganzen Herzen gelebt , ein riesiges Dankeschön für diese magische Auszeit. Danke an die liebevolle Tjarda , für alles.

Das Frühstück war vielfältig und sehr lecker, alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Wir waren zu sechst und haben somit das B&B "besetzt". Alle haben sehr gut geschlafen. Tjarda ist sehr freundlich und locker, so haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Wir hatten die "Zimmermanns-Suite": Die Stiege zum Bett ist nichts für Menschen, die Knieprobleme haben, was bei mir leider akut der Fall war. Das Badezimmer ist winzig, wobei auch das Waschbecken eigentlich nur eines für Gäste-WCs ist. Aber das kann man leider nicht ändern und für die Rahmenbedingungen ist es topp eingerichtet.

Het ontbijt was fantastisch, wat een feestje had Tjarda ervan gemaakt!

Super leuke huiselijke plek. Goede bedden, gezellige kamer en heerlijk ontbijt. Het hele pand is prachtig ingericht.

Eigenlijk niets

Chambre moderne et décorée avec goût, située dans un quartier très calme. La propriétaire est accueillante et professionnelle.

Un peu dommage que les fenêtres de la chambre donnent sur un petit chemin, qui donne lui-même sur un mur. À noter qu'il y a des caméras de surveillance non signalées dans le salon/cuisine et à l'extérieur.

De Lokatie is perfect. Bedden zijn goed. Alles is er in de kamer. Ik heb niets gemist. We hadden de kamer “de opslag” . Op de begane grond . Lichte kamer. Verder rustig. Zitje op de kamer en koffie en thee faciliteiten . En een lekker uitgebreid ontbijt.

Naast het feit dat de accommodatie prachtig is ingericht, is de gastvrouw echt helemaal top. Super vriendelijk, meedenkend en flexibel. Ik was er veel te vroeg, ging ze toch nog even snel de kamer schoonmaken zodat ik er eerder in kon. De kamer is voorzien van alle gemakken. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een kort verblijf is aanwezig. Het ontbijt was ook geweldig. Omdat ik een flinke wandeling zou gaan maken werd bijna alles in tweevoud klaargemaakt zodat ik een lunchpakket mee had. Ik heb er echt een heel fijne overnachting gehad en zou het iedereen aanbevelen.

Alles was top. Als je bedenkt hoe je wil dat je verblijf is in een B&B, dan kun je dat hier vinden. 😀

Great location near the center of Franeker and a great hostess. Spacious room with very nice bathroom and a great view over the waterways. Excellent breakfast and coffee and nice interaction during breakfast with other guests.

Fabulously renovated house with beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms. Great walk-in shower. Excellent breakfast provided by our host. Thank you!

Not much space for clothes but this was not a problem for us for one night. It would have been nice to have had a small fridge. Again, not a necessity.

Tjarda was a great hostess and super helpful. We loved the Fries vibe and the BnB was amazing. We travel quite a bit- but this was one of the best. Close to bnb is a lovely restaurant. Very reasonable and super staff Albert Heijn supermarket close. Franeker is duch a sweet and still ‘functional’ town- not a tourist trap. Loved this visit! Thanks

On Monday'sFraneker is pretty boring. The facility itself is great.

Best glutenfree breakfast I ever had ! Excellent bed and facilities. More important, the location is great, walking distance to the center to see the Planetarium, many different restaurants and coffee places. The town has beautiful architecture and pitoresque houses. The canals are absolutely charming.

We would have liked a refrigerator to place our food and beverages. But it was not a problem since the weather was cold.

The entire stay and accommodations were perfection! We were met by Tjarda as we arrived and given a complete tour of the old carpenters building which now has a lobby/breakfast area and three rooms: a ground level room usually for single night use or visitors who don't do stairs. This room has a king bed and table and chairs and private bathroom. Simple but lovely. Up the stairs to the second room with its own living room with couch and chair, as well as private bath. Up the antique stairs to an attic bedroom. Very romantic but perhaps for the young of heart (and knees). From the landing by the second bedroom is a wider staircase to the top floor. A large bedroom with high ceilings and large bathroom, view of the water outside and a couch and comfy chair. The couch is easily moved to either face the view or turned to the TV. A real living room feel. The beds were great, the bathrooms lovely and big. Each room had coffee makers and a mini frig in the hall had local beer and wine. The linens were also high quality and the towels fluffy and new and they even had dutch washcloths included!! Toiletries were also nice (even a first aid kit under the sink which took in lots of definitions of emergency). Breakfast was also fantastic. Overload of food which would be a problem if it went to waste, but everything not consumed was packed up for lunch. So price was also extremely reasonable. Bikes stored in garage next to building so no worries there. Have stayed in dozens of places in NL. Very rarely stayed anywhere this nice. Extra Bonus: Franeker!

No negatives for our stay, if you are staying longer like we did, the stairs might be a problem.
