The staff was wonderful and accommodating! Beautiful B and B in a gorgeous setting.

The location was great! We stayed here and headed to Soho Farmhouse during the day, which worked perfectly. It was an ideal spot for a 2–3 day countryside getaway.

Nothing really! The room was super clean, and being on the farm with loads of animals made it such a lovely stay.

Everything was lovely. The walks around the farm. Great for dogs. Breakfast was beautiful and plenty of choice. Check in was easy and quick. No fuss. The room was pretty basic but ok for one night.

The cleanliness wasn’t acceptable. Thick dust on the lamp bases. The outside of the toilet bowl was very dirty. Obviously urine splashes !! Pretty disgusting and disappointing!!

I liked the location, the room the breakfast and the grounds. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful.

Only thing I didn’t like were the diffuser Reed’s in the bathroom. The scent was so strong it was pervasive and intrusifvand made me feel queasy.

Loved our stay in the Piggery. Our window provided a country scene with butterflies and bumble bees around the plants. A real cottage garden feel. The room was a decent size, quiet and water pressure amazing in the shower (over bath) Breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients and plenty of choice. The girls working in there did a fantastic job! There’s no way you walk away hungry. Lovely BnB located on a farm with heaps of walking trails and farm animal interactions. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to reconnect with nature.

I had requested a small fridge or somewhere to place temperature sensitive medication but neither could be provided No where to store cool drinks on the hot days. The carpet in the bedroom was very stained and had not been vacuumed. Not a practical choice being on a farm. Alternative flooring would have been so much better. The bathroom had long black hairs stuck on the tiled walls in the shower and near the bin next to the toilet. A little more attention to detail would have made the place 10/10 We were disappointed that check-in staff/ general staff whilst polite, did not give a better introduction to the farm, do’s and don’t’s around the farm animals and really did not want to spend time interacting with guests. Therefore we were reluctant to raise the issues mentioned above

Such a lovely setting and easy access. Clean, simple room, very comfy beds. Breakfast in the cafe was a super, buzzy place and we had a varied, delicious menu and our choices did not disappoint. very friendly efficient staff.

We stay here every year after attending Big Feastival nearby, and it's always great. The property is easy to find, there's parking right outside and you can check yourself in so it's very flexible. Rooms are spotless and comfortable and seem to have been renovated since last year with brand new bathrooms. The included breakfast the next day is hugely generous and delicious and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Would recommend this place to anyone with children as you can also walk around the farm seeing sheep, goats and donkeys too!

Room service a little lacking as our teas/coffees/milk were not replenished daily, had to hunt someone down to obtain milk and teabags. Last morning after waiting 20 minutes sat at our table for breakfast, we had to ask if someone could take our order, felt forgotten about.

Perfect location, so quiet, lovely rooms, great breakfast, excellent communication. Would definitely book again.

Shower was leaking water down the back and puddled in bathroom but nothing that wasn’t easily fixable.

We loved the setting, location, room etc. Shame we couldn't have stayed longer. Super clean :) We did find that someone took all the extra milk and water etc that had been left out though so there was none left in the morning. A great bonus, shame some guests felt they needed to take so much.

Breakfast service was slow and seemed a little disorganised. I would suggest and option to order room service for a small tray fee to enable a more luxurious option.

Our room was worse than the pictures led on - it had two single beds instead of a double bed, is was worse decorated and setup than other rooms. The constricted shower was inconvenient to use. The breakfast, while decent, was no where near what was claimed. The parking was tight and sometimes overflowing. The view was partially blocked by overgrown bushes.

Absolutely everything, Special mention first for being so dog friendly. The room was lovely and all that you needed and 10/10 for the powerful shower! Outside there is the most amazing woodland walk from which we took advantage of the spectacular views & sunset. Breakfast was superb, this was a gem of a find and we will definitely be back.

We’ve stayed here before & love the location along with the amazing breakfast in the morning.

However this time, we stayed in a heatwave. There isn’t air con, so you would have thought they would at least provide a fan, but nothing! We didn’t check in until 9pm so there was no one around to request one either. It was unbearable!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. We stayed for two nights in the Piggery, which was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well presented. The site itself is beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. Breakfast was excellent, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We also brought our dog, who absolutely loved the woodland walks around the property. It’s a fantastic place for anyone travelling with dogs, with plenty of space to explore.

The only small improvements I would suggest would be the addition of a mini fridge and a fan in the room. We stayed during a particularly hot spell, so it would have been nice to keep drinks cool, and it would also have been useful for storing food bought from the nearby farm shops. Thankfully, we had brought our own fan, which made a big difference. Other than those minor points, everything was perfect. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning in the future! 😊

The room was a bit small for our liking, the sink was too small to shave and too low down. Could do with a fan in hot weather although we did turn the radiator off.

No microwave. Lack of flat space in bedroom and bathroom to place things such as toiletries. No charger facilities in bathroom. Despite 8 B+B rooms in the block, no shared kitchen, washing machine etc. Breakfast was not buffet. Paying guests shared with non- residents etc, having to queue ( 1 hour for breakfast) Seemed the B+B guests were competing with non-residents

Beautiful location, the breakfast in the cafe was perfect, little rounds of Gloucestershire butter etc. Perfect for the dog, walk out into woodland- amazing.

An email with the room number on. There were 8 rooms, but we couldn’t walk straight in, we had to wonder around looking for someone. Later on, a couple were doing exactly the same as us, trying to work out how to get room number. However everything else was great.

Check-in verloopt heel vlot (self check-in). Ruime, propere kamers. Ruime parkeerplaats met voldoende plek. Ontbijt zeer lekker en veel keuze. Locatie heel goed!

Lage, Frühstück und die Umgebung sind super. Unser Zimmer war okay. Es war sehr ruhig. Die Frühstücks-Scheune ist total schön und der Service war wirklich extrem nett.

Das Badezimmer im "pig barn" hatte nur ein winzig kleines Waschbecken, der Fußboden aus Kieselsteinen hat keinen hygienisch sauberen Eindruck gemacht besonders im Duschbereich.

Breakfast was nice, bacon inedible though left too long. Sausages mediocre but rest was good. Umbrellas could be offered in lobby of the piggery as you have an open walk to the shed cafe.

The heating was faulty but soon remedied by chance as no 24 hour reception but managed to get help by chance.overpriced for an average room.

Handy for visiting surrounding areas room was clean and adequately equipped breakfast in the shed was lovely and the staff all very nice

Very clean and beautiful location/surroundings. We have been visiting the B&B and caravan site since 2017. The breakfast at the Old Shed is extremely good value and the food is always delicious!

Right by the door, very loud people coming back - not the fault of the B&B, but can be loud as we were right next to it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Banbury Hill Farm in Charlbury and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape. The location was incredibly easy to find, which made arrival stress-free. The site itself is stunning, surrounded by nature, with beautiful walking trails through the forest and plenty of animals to see, which really added to the charm of the stay. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, giving us plenty of room to relax. Everything felt well thought out and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were both seamless and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we loved every minute and would definitely return!
