Was a bit worried about the narrow lanes Google maps was taking us down but all good in the end.

We had an over night stay as a family and room it was amazing, loads of room, bathroom was Fantasic. Geraldine was such a lovely host and so welcoming. We had a huge breakfast with beautiful home made brown bread and blueberry muffins. Would definetly stay again.

Geraldine was a Wonderful welcoming host who went to great trouble to make it a very comfortable stay. Even had homemade blueberry muffins to accompany the delicious full Irish breakfast we had. The bed was very comfortable . 10/10 highly recommend!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Oak Tree Lane Country B&B. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderbar ruhig und ist ideal, wenn man ein paar entspannte Tage abseits des Trubels verbringen möchte. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Besonders angenehm fanden wir, dass wirklich an alles gedacht wurde, sogar Kaffee und Tee standen auf dem Zimmer bereit. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das frisch zubereitete irische Frühstück. Es gab verschiedene typisch irische Bestandteile wie Würstchen und Black bzw. White Pudding, dazu frisches Obst, frischen Toast und eine große Auswahl an Brotaufstrichen. Alles war sehr liebevoll angerichtet und ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Die Gastgeberin war äußerst nett, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Auch der schöne Garten lädt zum Sitzen und Entspannen ein. Die Lage ist außerdem ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für Bootstouren zu den Great Saltee Islands, insbesondere wenn man Puffins und andere Seevögel sehen möchte. Auch der Pub Mary Barry’s ist fußläufig erreichbar und sehr zu empfehlen. Dort gibt es hervorragenden Fisch und gutes Bier. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit viel Ruhe, Herzlichkeit, tollem Frühstück und perfekter Lage für Ausflüge an die Küste.

Our stay was excellent lovely large room with ensuite shower very large comfortable bed. We had a lovely continental breakfast as we had to be up early to make our way to the ferry.

There isn't anything to dislike.

De ontvangst was geweldig! De gastvrouw stelde meteen voor om een ontbijtpakketje te voorzien omdat we de volgende ochtend vroeg de ferry in Rosslare moesten halen, waarvoor nog eens heel veel dank! Super comfortabel bed en zeer propere kamer. Rustige ligging op 20 min van Rosslare Harbour. Een geweldige tip kregen we van onze gastvrouw: diner in de locale pub/ restaurant: super lekker gegeten, daar!

The area is quiet. The house is quiet, and the room is quiet. The room is comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, with a nice shower. The bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows. The breakfast was beyond what we expected. Very delicious and so much food. Kept us going for the day. Some home-cooked goods were a special treat.

El lugar es excepcional, Irlanda rural en todo su esplendor. Nos encantó la habitación, la cama muy cómoda y el desayuno el mejor de todos, de verdad. Gerandine fue muy atenta con nosotros. Nos hizo el desayuno y nos informó de los lugares a los que ir, donde comer un buen Fish and chips. Hay secador de pelo y wifi.

Our room was lovely & exceptionally clean! Geraldine was a fabulous host and gave us great recommendations when our plans changed last minute. Breakfast was amazing also with lots of variety. The B & B is in a perfect location to visit Kilmore Quay, Johnstown castle, Wexford & Curracloe beach. We would highly recommend staying here!

Excellent all around the minute we arrived. Geraldine was so helpful we used the wellness room which has an excellent hot tub and sauna showers and toilets spotless there and loads of relaxing chairs. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from.

Warm friendly welcome. We arrived after a challenging journey from Rosslare ferry terminal, pouring rain with hailstones and a very gusty wind, and pitch black! No street lights, no street names! Our satnav took us in circles but a quick call to Geraldine with good clear instructions for us got us there, albeit a couple of hours later than anticipated. Very comfortable room and superb breakfast! We had a full Irish with fresh fruit salad, a selection of pastries and preserves and a fantastic selection of herbal teas in particular which was great for me.

I chose this property specifically because the listing stated that spa access was included. The place itself was spacious and clean, but unfortunately, our experience with the hosts was extremely unpleasant. When we asked to use the spa, we were told we had to pay an additional €50 in cash, which directly contradicts the information on the booking listing. When I politely raised this issue, the hosts became defensive and told us “my house, my rules” and that we could leave if we didn’t like it. On checkout day, heavy rain started just as we were leaving. I asked if we could wait inside for 10 minutes until it cleared, but the host insisted we leave immediately and escorted us out in the rain. I also witnessed another guest being treated poorly after having no hot water at night; the host’s response the next morning was again dismissive and confrontational. While the property itself is nice, the unprofessional and hostile attitude of the hosts ruined the experience. I cannot recommend this place and would advise future guests to carefully review the listing details before booking.

Not mentioned anywhere that checking in was between 4pm and 8pm but the owner did facilitate us with a late check in. Also not mentioned anywhere in advertising that breakfast was only continental.
