Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Immaculate, Anna and her husband are dedicated to the cleanliness of their garden and home, we only stayed 3 nights, but, they did everything to make our stay the best it could be. Highly recommended.
There was no down side to our stay, but, the breakfast is a simple toast, tea and cereal, which, we didn't mind, but, some people I feel would prefer a full Irish.

Reviewed Oct 11, 2025Anna is a national treasure, the best BnB in Ireland. Beautiful house, lovely fresh breakfast and kind hosts. We spent half a day visiting Emo House, highly recommend. Plenty of great hikes in the area too. Stay here, it's lovely.

B&B felt exceptionally safe & private which is a big plus as a solo traveler. I travel to Ireland once a month for the last 10 months & this is the first venue I wouldn’t hesitate to return to
Everything was 10/10. Only thing that added to my anxiety was struggling to open the front door. However I didn’t arrive till after 2am due to a late flight into Dublin & the carpet pile is so thick and luxurious I think this is why I struggled to open the door. So not exactly a negative or flaw on Anna’s part. Door just seemed really tricky to open and took some time and persistence to get in

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Very clean, quiet and cozy home! The hosts were very pleasant and considerate, I've never stayed anywhere before that provided so many little necessities. The bathroom was very well stocked and there was a little stash of tea/coffee and biscuits provided in the room. The bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The home was a 5 minute drive from the village and a 15 minute drive from the Slieve Bloom mountains. Perfect for a relaxing stay before/after a hike!

Reviewed Oct 13, 2024I had an absolutely lovely stay. Anna was so welcoming and pleasant and I really enjoyed being there. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, clean and warm. The water pressure in the shower was the highest I've ever had in Ireland (also loved that minty shower gel). My back didn't warm up to the combo of the mattress (I just need something more supportive) and the (too bulky for me) pillow but this is just personally me - the next guest might need exactly that. Oh my, that gorgeous breakfast! (There's a choice of about eight different dishes of which to choose from ). And lovingly presented as well. I can only recommend this lovely B&B and will certainly be back when I'm in the area again.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2024Anna was a welcoming host and the room had lovely touches (a hot water bottle and a blanket if necessary). The shower was lovely and spacious, plus a good shower head. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and my omelette was delicious.
As a coeliac, it would have been delightful if there was gluten-free granola.

Gracious hosts, stunning garden, and by far the most comfortable stay we have had on our trip. The only down side was that it was difficult to decide which of the personally prepared breakfast options was the most appealing.
Not a single thing was worthy of any criticism.

Reviewed May 20, 2024My stay was very relaxed and I was very well looked after from first arrival to leaving the following morning. The B&B is located in a nice quiet area with easy access to local towns and villages. The breakfast was prepared fresh, there was great choice and very generous in the portions. I alsp enjoyed some nice conversation with my host Hannah. The gardens were very nice. I would certainly recommend a stay. The price was very reasonable and good value.
