Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Beautiful stay in the country side only 15 minutes drive from Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes. It was exactly as described. Ample parking, clean and tidy shared bathroom and kitchen with decent size private rooms. We loved our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat. We especially loved the outdoor seating area to enjoy the afternoon sun. We also loved how tranquil it was being in the country side and hearing the nearby animal sounds. Would stay again and recommend to others!
Nothing! Only thing for others to note when booking is location - you definitely need a car but this was clear on the booking. The location was perfect for us.

Achei que as infraestruturas exteriores deveriam estar mais cuidadas e limpas e mais atrativas , pois nota-se um grande desleixo o acesso é horrível pois trata-se de uma estrada terrea mas muito má. Quanto ao interior , não está muito mal. Achei que o mobiliário deveria ser melhor, mais moderno e com menos improvisos .

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026This place is slightly off the beaten track for hikers on the Rota Vicentina, and completely so for other tourists. But the location is serene, it is only 30 minutes walk from a glorious beach only used by a few surfers, and there is a lovely bar restaurant about 15 minutes away that provides great mainly Alentejano food. Rute and Mario are so helpful and welcoming that it feels like a home from home. Don't expect international hotel-style, this is perfectly adequate comfort wise, but resolutely Portuguese, distinctly 'green' and all the better for it.
I suppose the eating options are limited if one does not like walking/driving a little... but Rute keeps a stock of basics to cook for yourself in the kitchen. Nothing at all that I did not like.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026La struttura si trova in mezzo alla campagna mi è piaciuto molto aprire la finestra e vedere i cavalli nel campo vicino . Avendo la macchina ho potuto girare per le spiagge più conosciute che sono comunque a 15/20 minuti dalla struttura . Ho apprezzato la cucina attrezzata per farsi da mangiare in autonomia e la filosofia del riuso

На кухні можна готувати і все є. Навіть є невеликий магазин, де тобі все продадуть!

Proponuję jedynie obkleić czymś lodówki w kuchni.

Tivemos dificuldade em abrir a porta principal, talvez falta de jeito, ou truque da mesma. Foi só à quarta tentativa, ainda foi uns momentos de espera 😂 Isso às 00:50 da manhã

Keittiön toimivuuteen tulisi panostaa. On varauduttava omin eväin sillä lähistölläkään ei ole kappaa tai asiallista ravintolaa.

La habitación estaba súper limpia pero un poco de exceso en el uso de lejía. Con la habitación cerrada por el frío, el olor era fuerte. La aislación sonora es baja. Se escucha todo lo que pasa en la casa

No que diz respeito ao isolamento acústico, é uma casa portuguesa, com certeza. E consegui ficar a pensar o que alguém que estava na sala pensa sobre a Páscoa, enquanto eu estava no quarto. Havia dispositivo contra melgas, mas fui acordado pelo barulho de uma, pelo que não me parece que tenha funcionado.

Ich war auf dem Trail unterwegs, deswegen war die Lage für mich eher ungünstig (ca.3 km ins Landesinnere)

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Die Unterkunft hat etwas. Ich war bereits zum 4. Mal im i ka Hale. Sie ist sauber und es gibt sehr schöne gemütliche Zimmer, einen Aufenthaltsraum, eine Terasse , eine Küche und Quellwasser was wir nutzen konnten. Der Wohnbereich ist gemütlich. Auch dass es ein paar Lebensmittel zu kaufen gibt, ist prima. Da es Fußläufig in der Nähe nix gibt. Auch die nutzbare Terrasse und die Stille sind wirklich schön unrein plus. Das Hostel liegt ländlich und in Meernähe ( ca. 3 km) Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und ermöglichten uns einen viel früheren Selbst- Check in. Da uns der Regen überrascht hatte. Herzlichen Dank. Da es sehr kalt und feucht war brachte uns der Besitzer noch 2 Decken. Das machte es etwas besser.
Wir haben einen sehr kalten Regen- Tag erwischt . Es war wirklich richtig kalt ( 6 Grad am Abend im Dezember) und auch sehr feuchte Luft innen und außen. Der Kamin ( unsere Hoffnung) funktioniert leider nicht . Er war defekt . Es gab Radiator in wohl jedem Zimmer. So ein kleiner Radiator ist für ein kleines Zimmer bestimmt richtig prima, für das 2 BettZimmer , welches wir hatten, war er jedoch viel zu klein und half uns höchstens etwas beim Socken und Schuhe trocknen . Uns war ab der Ankunft richtig doll kalt bis zum Einschlafen. Küche und Wozi sind für alle, waren jedoch leider auch doll kalt. Atemluft war sichtbar. Der Aufenthalt an dem kalten nassen Tag war herausfordernd und ich denke ,( hab ich so bisher noch nicht erlebt hier in Portugal) Ich war vorher bereits mehrfach hier, auch im i ka Hale. Ich hatte zuvor immer ein gemütliches Ein Bett Zimmer und hab nicht gefroren.
