Great space for a family getaway. Lots of room for everyone to have there own space. Beautifully presented.

Spacious, spotlessly clean, well appointed and great location. Betty greeted us and gave us what information we needed. She was readily available to help in anyway whilst respecting our privacy. Very grateful it was available for our stay.

A great pleasure interacting with Betty and Roger. The house is truly beautiful, the garden is elegant. We could tell they put a lot of time and effort to make this place pleasant and welcome to their guests. Both are very kind and very accommodative! We really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning property. Unfortunately it rained while we were there but it was still perfect. Very quiet location with the whole upper floor to ourselves. My daughter & I were on a trip away together so we each were able to have our own rooms.

Two nights would have been ideal. Quiet and very comfortable. The hostess cooked us whitebait fritters for breakfast, which as you can imagine went down a treat. Now that’s a great kiwi breakfast.

The spaciousness, staying here as a mother and son it was easy for us to be together as well as to have space of our own.

Perfect place to stay for our girls weekend away. Very central for shopping, beauty treatments and a visit to the Herb Farm and cafe in Ashhurst. A bonus was the continental breakfast included in the daily rate. The location was very peaceful and the beds were very comfortable. The 3 of us would highly recommend Pin Oaks Luxury bed and breakfast hosted by Betty and Roger. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

Would have liked yoghurt at breakfast. Glad no one else was staying as we would not like sharing bathroom. It was strange leaving and not say goodbye and thank you.

We enjoyed everything about the house. The rate is very reasonable for four of us to have the whole house-spacious! Each of us got our own room - all the beds were comfortable . The whole house was warm. The breakfast was delicious. The owner Betty was nice, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Her after-service was excellent, even texted us the brands of the comfy and warm duvets on our request. My two children rated the stay 10/10. I put 9/10 for the facilities as there was no stove or water tap or sink in the kitchen/dining area - it was a bit inconvenient, but the owner Betty gave water and took away the used tableware (she cleaned them) on time, so not a big deal. We strongly recommend, especially to families or groups.

We were welcomed like friends of the family, shown around & told if we needed anything else just to knock at the dining room door (which adjoins to the owners property. We were very impressed with the spaciousness of the home! The outside gardens are just as beautiful as the inside. There is onsite parking at the front door (private entrance). Large lounge area with TV, good wifi. A more than generous second floor bathroom with tub & separate shower (separate toilet & sink room). Dining area was supplied with dishes, mugs & cutlery & and small fridge, kettle and microwave - handy if you wanted to bring in takeaway. Delicious cold breakfast (granola/cereals, fruit, toast/crumpets, etc.) in the morning

The house was beautiful, clean, warm, very comfortable, all the little details were thought of. Like tissue boxes in every room, makeup removing cloths in the bathroom, good quality shampoo and conditioner, etc, and I'm sure the preserves for breakfast were even homemade. They were delicious. The beds were very comfortable, and this is a big tick on my list as so many places skimp on the quality of their beds. Best bed and Breakfast I have stayed in so far.

Had trouble watching TV+ channel. Kept saying it needed HDMI cable and blank screen after 2 minutes watching.

The exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated home. Attention to detail is clearly Betty’s area of expertise. The continental breakfast was of the best quality. Any flavour tea you can think of, two types of coffees, a huge variety of fresh bread, fresh fruit, yoghurt all served using the most lovely crockery. Linen napkins…I could go on. Truly amazing, would highly recommend! Beds were really comfortable, bathrooms clean and included all amenities.

Beautiful location 15 minutes out of Palmerston North. Very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic. All facilities were perfect for a family.

Had a lovely stay at Pin Oaks. It was comfy, warm, clean, and conveniently located just under 15 mins drive from the centre of Palmerston North. Breakfast was a good selection of cereal and bread, with gluten free options offered when booking. There was also milk and a choice of nice tea options. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay and I would highly recommend it.

The apartment is attached to the main house so some noise can be heard through the connecting wall. This wasn't a problem for me but should be noted if you're a light sleeper.

A b&b that includes half the house! Top quality stay and lovely continental breakfast. Excellent facilities and host.

Betsy was absolutely wonderful. She made our family feel at home, and provided afternoon tea. Loved all the little extra's. Breakfast was delicious with great selection of cereals, bread with fresh fruit and yogurt.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Betty's. The place is very spacious, impeccably clean, and decorated with a lot of love to detail. There is tea, coffee and water and the breakfast is all that anyone could ever ask for and more. The surrounding gardens are absolutely stunning. We can wholeheartedly recommend Betty's place.

The breakfast was superb with a range of cereals, breads, spreads etc. The property was stunning and immaculately presented, Betty was very welcoming. So quiet and such a lovely garden setting, plus the apartment was very spacious. Will definitely come back.

Amazing B&B. Lovely big home on huge grounds surrounded by beautiful gardens. It is totally private and quiet, about 10 minutes drive outside of Palmerston North. Betty was super friendly and went the extra mile in every way. The house is lovely, beds are super comfy, high quality bed linen, lovely lounge, and outdoor furniture for sitting outside in the garden. The whole place is next-level clean, and the breakfast was filling and delicious. Amazing value for money at this level of quality and attention to detail.

This is a quiet location, perfect after travelling. Our host was wonderful and attentive to every need.

Location is bit far, if you have your own transport really good.

Betty and Roger are friendly, helpful hosts and their stunning home was sparkling clean and super comfortable. The accommodation is very spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast was generous and delicious.

The location is rural and just stunning. Breakfast was amazing, and the little extras and attention to detail made us feel very special. Betty was an excellent host, and we wished we had more time here.
