Hak Boutique Residence

I would stay here again the next time I'm in Siem Reap. I intentionally did not want to stay downtown but close enough to town centre, and then Angkor. Hak is an amazing and generous host, and his family is delightful. The guesthouse and room is clean, the air conditioning works well, and the shower and toilet to standard. Hak helped make my 3 weeks in Siem Reap highly memorable.

The hot water wasn't always very hot, but I'm willing to overlook this as a) you don't really need hot water in Cambodia and b) the value for money is still outstanding.

The room I had was large and spacious. Very well-equipped with a fridge, kettle, strong aircon, hot water, wifi, TV, and garden view balcony. Very comfortable bed. Towels and linen changed at request. Laundry service available. In-house restaurant. Pool is clean, and available for swimming. Secure parking for scooter. The owner Hak, his wife Ming, and family were very pleasant and helpful. The food at hotel was great! Very filling meals at low cost My stay at this hotel was very very enjoyable. I would return there again, no problem.

Nothing to complain about. Sometimes wifi a little slow.

Vous devez absolument aller chez Hak !! C’était le meilleur endroit de notre voyage. Tout était merveilleux. La chambre hyper propre confort avec une magnifique terrasse. Le jardin tellement joli apaisant avec une magnifique piscine pour se détendre. Les plats proposés tellement délicieux on a mangé que la ba tellement c’était bon ! La proximité avec le centre (même pas 5min de tuk tuk) tout en restant au calme. Et pour finir la gentillesse infinie de Hak et sa famille. Vous ne devez pas louper cet endroit si vous êtes à Siem reap croyez moi.

Loved the gardens, the pool, the food at the restaurant was amazing. The owner was so friendly and helped with anything we needed. Loved the location a little out of town and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately the beds were a little hard for our liking and the shower wasn't the best but we didn't mind.

Amazing spot, location. Beautiful countryside vibe. Quiet. The garden is fabulous. The room was spacious. The staff very helpful. I enjoyed my stay at Hak Boutique !! I recommend.

A friendly family run residence. the host Hak, was very hospitable helping us with cars/tuk tuks for trips at reasonable prices and even a late check out ! Good food and breakfast choice at reasonable cost. Only 5 mins in tuk tuk to main area of Siem Reap for restaurants and only 15 mins to all other attractions! Lovely secluded and peaceful swimming pool ! Would recommend!!

La gentillesse de Hak, la nourriture délicieuse préparée par son épouse, le fait que l'hôtel est retiré par rapport au centre ville fait que c'est un lieu paisible. La piscine est super aussi.

On n'a pas eu d'eau chaude de tout le séjour, je n'en ai pas parlé à Hak donc peut être que ça aurait pu être réglé. Les matelas étaient trop durs pour moi.

El hotel es muy familiar con una atención muy buena por parte de la familia que lo regenta. El restaurante es muy casero cocinando platos locales muy buenos. Alejado de la zona urbana es una opcion muy tranquila a pocos minutos del centro de la ciudad.

El acceso al hotel es por una calle sin asfaltar ni iluminar lo que hace que si llegas de noche como nosotros no sea fácil de encontrar. Tal vez unos carteles indicadores desde la calle principal serian muy convenientes.

Tolles Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Hak, der Besitzer spricht sehr gut englisch, ist super nett und hilfsbereit.

The room was huge with a lovely view of the garden and pool. The owner and family are very nice and the food delicious. We loved the pool and the location as outside the city but not too far. Owner arranges to pick you up from the bus station for free. I can recommend Joy and his Tuk tuk. He collected us from the bus station and then we hired him to take us to all the tourist attractions during our stay. We were mother and daughter travelling together and he was very kind , knowledgable and English speaking . His number on WhatsApp +855 97 970 2651 and his prices are reasonable. He even took us to the bus station to change our tickets as we stayed an extra day at the hotel as loved it so much.

Schöne grüne Anlage mit ruhiger Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind geräumig mit Terrasse und getrennter Toilette und Bad. Die Betten und die Bettwäsche waren sehr gemütlich und sauber.. Der Pool ist ebenfalls toll und lädt zum verweilen ein. Schönes Hotel mit unfassbarem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es aber für die Lage, es ist recht weit vom Zentrum und die Straße die zum Hotel führt ist nicht gut ausgebaut und nachts dunkel. Fahrtzeit mit Grab trotzdem nur 7min etwa 5000-6000 Riel. Uns fehlten Kleiderhaken oder Wäscheständer um getragene Kleidung oder Handtücher zu lüften oder zu trocknen.

For me a great location, wonderful outside pool and garden area,very peaceful and relaxing, Hak and his family were extremely helpful and welcoming, The accommodation was super clean and comfortable, Food from the restaurant was a delicious. I will return

Water in the shower was a bit chilly but it was not a big deal for us

I have been to far more luxurious hotels and far larger hotels, but I have never been to a more welcoming and more considerate hotel. It is ran by Hak and his lovely family who are truly above and beyond any expectations one could have had when it comes to running a hotel. Hak will help you get medicines if you are sick, help you with paperwork to extend your visa, make food for you even outside of the regular meal hours, and will effectively do whatever you ask of him as long as it is reasonable. The hotel has a lovely assortment of animals to brighten up the place, a comfortable pool, varied options for relaxation, and many offers if you want to experience what Siem Reap has to offer. Hak will arrange it all if you let him. Most who stay here stay for short periods of time, but I have had the splendid experience of staying here for a month. Hell there is a small public kitchen to use if you are financially a savvy traveler and the hotel restaurant is less expensive than most places you will eat at outside of the hotel.

This is only an issue if you are a little indoor gremlin like me and my spouse, or if you need to work. The internet is sadly not the most reliable thing here, but as most guests are not going to be on their computers so this is a negliable issue at best. Also there are going to be flying bugs about due to it being tropical....which is just a fact of life but Hak and co will help if you find this troublesome. So all in all I don't really have any issues with my stay at this hotel at all.

Nice place to stay. Beautyful garden with a fantastic pool. Good food for dinner. Hak is very help full to arrange bicycle, scooter and day trips.

The location was excellent, far enough from the main areas to be peaceful but a nice walk or short tuk tuk ride away. The property was amazing, Hak was the perfect host, very attentive and always working hard to tidy the pool area from the falling leaves. The breakfast was well prepared and substantial, as was all the food at other meals. Above all though, I was unfortunate to have an accident on the first night, resulting in a nasty head wound. Despite it being after midnight, Hak came to my assistance immediately to help with initial first aid. The next morning he took me to the local clinic where I had my wound stitched, Hak was there the whole time to translate. He kept checking on my welfare throughout my stay and went above and beyond to make sure I was ok. I would definitely recommend this lovely accommodation, and would like to thank Hak and his family and staff for everything.

Nice family run hotel, with a beautiful garden with pool, ideal to relax and rest after a long day at the temples. It is located at a 7 minute tuktuk drive from the city center so it’s very quiet . Good value for money. We had a person from the hotel driving us everywhere, he was very nice too.

Quiet spot, relaxing pool and garden

The family room bathroom was not very private and very small. There was not enough hot water for us (5) to have with our shower. The breakfast menu was small.

It is a wonderful homestay style hotel. Hak is incredible and always available to help in any way. He has created an incredibly friendly and relaxed atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is fairly basic and a bit out of town but that is actually part of the attraction.

Some people may find it a little far from town.

The balcony overlooking the garden is large and beautiful. Everything works without problems. The cleanliness is good. It is great to have a water dispenser in the lobby. You always have water. The breakfast is good and enough. The hotel is in a quiet area a little outside the city center.I think it is good that it is quiet and calm. It is very easy to find a taxi to go to the city center. It is about 1 dollar with the local application.

There were no tulle curtains in the room I stayed in, which made the room a bit dark. I think tulle curtains could be put in. But the sun curtain is thick and good.

The place is hidden away from the buzzing town which was super. Since it is hot here at the moment you have to take a tuk tuk anyways. Hak helped us with this service and we had the nicest driver ever. The pool is amazing.

The ceiling area of the bathroom needs a bit of cleaning as there were many mosquitoes and flies.

Staff reception really great friendly and available. Garden and pool are nice, interesting, with many plants and flowers. The rooms are very large.

The rooms are large and have a big potential to get a great design. Should continue to think about the decoration in the room (fotos about Cambodia history are very interesting nice). The family room could have plant on terrasse or living room, , interior design should be more balance and completed, etc... it could update value of the hotel a lot. :)

Lovely family run hotel with an attractive pool area, the Staff were very helpful, set in an out of town quiet area 10 min ride away from the centre. We could have spent much longer here.

Breakfast selection was restricted eg only one coffee or orange juice was included. lots of mosquitos bring repellant (there was an indoor fish pond in front of our room entrance with still water which didn't help the issue)

We really loved our stay. I like that the accommodation is not in the middle of the city but a bit more out. It was very easy to get into the center with grab. The owner is really friendly. And the pool area very beautiful.

Bed a bit squeaky

Rooms were great, the pool and the garden are amazing. The owner is very helpful. He organized a tuktuk for us in Angkor Wat for $15 and helped us when we had a misunderstanding with the driver. Everything is like on the pictures. Location is not very central, but it’s quiet and we chose it because of that.

The water on the first night didn’t get warm, but I didn’t tell the owner (it was too late and I didn’t mind a cold shower). There were no problems with water after that. The toilet makes noises for some time after flushing and at night it’s not very comfortable. The bed makes noises when you move.

Hak Boutique was absolutely wonderful. Hak is terrific - he helped us to arrange economical transport and thoughtfully advised us on activities that would suit our family. The hotel is quiet except for the most beautiful little birds in the early morning when you wander onto your balcony. The pool is sensational, food terrific, and everything is very clean and well looked after. We also loved our tuk tuk drivers arranged by Hak for temple days. The amazing photos of Cambodia through history around the hotel are an excellent touch.

The place is simple but with a lovely garden and swimming pool. Location is quite far from the busy center that is good if you want a relaxing neighbourhood. The best is the kindness of Hak and his family who want you feel like home. Thank you so much !
