Reviewed Apr 11, 2026Absolutely perfect option for us while attending a sporting event at Lake Karapiro. Location was amazing, super comfortable space and plenty of room for us. Great that we had access to the pool and the little personal touches throughout were lovely. We will definitely rebook if the opportunity arises. Thanks for having us.
Cereal not topped up for second day, but still had toast available 😋 and didnt impact our lovely stay.

It was a little challenging when it came to payment as they dont take credit card, so it will have to be bank transfer (which didnt work for us) - or paypal which charged alot in exchange and fees

I prefer a harder bed, but this is just a personal preference.

The outdoor area overlooking the pool was a highlight—an ideal spot to unwind after exploring the Hobbiton Movie Set. Highly recommend for a tranquil retreat!

Reviewed Jan 13, 2025Fabulous, quiet location with great facilities and well equipped kitchen. Just what we needed. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay it's ideal. It served our purposes perfectly and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. We had everything we needed and more.
The property was in quite a remote location, requiring a drive to any facilities but if you have a car it is easy enough to get around.

Tiffany was lovely, on hand to give advice and answer any questions we had. There was plenty of choice for a continental type breakfast and excellent cooking facilities and equipment if you needed to cook a complicated meal
